Actually, I do want to thank everyone who participated this year! I had a grand time running this, despite the occasional hiccups, and everyone is simply lovely. It's so refreshing to have a warm, fuzzy exchange in fandom where everyone is so supportive of the insanity we are producing.

Extra love to jin_fenghuang for taking on a last minute pinch-hit so I didn't have to torture more people with my own "art" than absolutely necessary.

So, now on to the reveals and some utterly foolish awards, all bestowed with adoration and groping!

We open our reveals/award show with the Golden Squid for Best Clock Evah which goes to ivylady (Fool #1) and "Quality Time", drawn for jin_fenghuang.

Next we have the Golden Squid for Unnecessary Modesty, which goes to alexis_sd (Fool #2) and "Ripe Autumn Delight", created for torino10154.

The Golden Squid for Best Arse Welts goes to gin_tonic (Fool #3) for "Detention", drawn for centaury_squill.

wallflowergirl (Fool #4) takes home the Golden Squid for Not-Together Togetherness for her fic, "It's Been Too Long", written for deborak.

The Golden Squid for Good Lover, Great Father goes to drcjsnider(Fool #5) and her two art works, "Meet Me in the Shrieking Shack & NEWT Results", for shocfix.

The Golden Squid for Clearly Oblivious Lockhart goes to vivien529 (Fool #6) and her art "Persistence of Memory" for blpaintchart.

hpsauce (Fool #7) earns the Golden Squid for Best Necktie Repurposing for "House Ties", drawn for slumber.

lilian_cho (Fool #28) earns the Golden Squid for Truth In Advertising for "Best Malfoy Legs Since the 1800s", drawn for who_la_hoop.

The Golden Squid for Best Aww-Inducing Art goes to synn (Fool #29) for "Shadows On the Walls", drawn for skitty_kat.

alisanne (Fool #30) earns the Golden Squid for Perviest Automobile with "Not Alone", drawn for westernredcedar.

In addition to the mod's adoration and gratitude, jin_fenghuang (also playing Fool #31) gets the Golden Squid for Doing with Her Non-Dominant Hand Things I Couldn't Do with Five Hands for "Oh it's Love, It's Love", drawn left-handed for drcjsnider.

shellydkitty (Fool #32) is hereby awarded the Golden Squid for Best Doggy Style Art for her "A Better View", gifted to me!

And finally, I bestow the Golden Squid for Largest Sculpey Arsehole in Fandom to myself (Fool #34) for my sculpted half of "Composition 1A: Pervert with Pensieve and Pickle", created last minute for shellydkitty. Meanwhile, for her drawing of Luna in the same creation, my partner thegildedmagpie (Fool #33) can have the Golden Squid for Strangest Position to Have Someone Model In, Not Only Topless but In Front of Said Model's Seventy-Eight-Year Old Grandmother. *grumbles about strain on calves and the lack of surprise for weird pron creations on the part of aforementioned 78 year old grandmother*

Well, that's all folks... I'll get around to updating all the posts with user names in a couple days, once I get done with the large stack of student essays that are menacing me from the kitchen counter.

I was just thinking that people need to write stories based on the artwork or do artwork based on the stories here. The weirder the better and not their original creators...I have no idea what I'd do with (for example)

alisanne's Charlie/Viktor being watched by Snape, Lupin, the Ford Anglia, and a caged dragon, but it's worth contemplating. :)
