Author/Artist's Notes: For Skitty_kat's request: "Remus Lupin/Severus Snape - ballroom dance." I really hope you like it… I wanted to give you something with a higher rating, but then my hands reminded me just how much they don't draw people.

Thanks go to swtalmnd whose lovely image Afterglow of Day was a strong inspiration for this piece.

	this is so lovely and emotive, NICE job! I adore the frame where Sev is sitting morosely on the fountain. lots of great touches, the looming shadow, the dancing sillouettes, great job! and smart of you to take inspiration from swtalmd's wonderful art. 	Beautiful! Wonderful lighting, dancers, the tree branches curling around the edges of the frame. I have to say those two panels with the sad Snapey faces make me all wibbly. sniffs And the close up of his hands-god, that's brilliant all on it's own. 	Oh that is so lovely and sweet. I absolutely love the last panel with their silhouettes against the light from the ball and I really liked the way you intercut with close-ups of Snape's hands and later when he reaches to take Remus' hand. Just lovely! (Reply to this) (Thread)

This is definitely canon - just because Harry didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
And it's gorgeous! All the colouring-in must have taken you absolutely forever - and well worth it! The elegant style is just beautiful.
Severus sitting on the fountain twiddling his thumbs is adorable. As are the little lines between his eyebrows.
Oh, and the bits of tree holding the panels!
And the angles and setting ... oh! Looks like I can learn a lot about layout from you.

Actually, drawing the whole thing out took the most time, what with all the erasing : ) HA! the eyebrow lines were one of my favorite things when I was drawing it. I don't know why.
