Displaying a user picture with every entry.[Jun. 3rd, 2004|09:05 pm]

There is no true override which allows the user to display a user picture with each entry. However, there is a way to work around it.

First, you must create a custom friends group and add only yourself to that group. Information on custom friends groups can be found here.
Once you have done this you can go to http://www.insanejournal.com/users/exampleusername/friends/customgroupname/ to see the entries posted with your user picture.

You will need to replace "exampleusername" with your user name, and "customgroupname" to the name of the group you have created.

If you want to redirect visitors to this page, you will first need to ensure the group you have created is public.
Once you have accomplished that step, you can then use the following override.

LASTN_HEAD<=

<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0; URL=http://www.insanejournal/users/exampleusername/friends/groupname/" />

<=LASTN_HEAD

Change the exampleuser name to your own user name, and the customgroupname to the group you created.

If you have an Early Inmate, Self-committed [paid], or Permenantly Insane account, and have created a custom style, you will need to add the <meta> tag in the override to the <head> section within the LASTN_PAGE variable.
