As I'm sure you've all seen by now, the game has been delayed in opening. This is due to the current low number of members. I'm planning to continue with the advertisements throughout the life of the game. However, if anyone has any other ideas as to how to try and increase the numbers, please, feel free to suggest and/or advertise the game as much as you can.

The current advert I've been using is:

July 24th 2004; 
"By the time Skynet became self-aware it had spread into millions of computer servers across the planet. Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm rooms; everywhere. It was software; in cyberspace. There was no system core; it could not be shutdown. The attack began at 6:18 PM, just as he said it would.

Judgment Day, the day the human race was nearly destroyed by the weapons they'd built to protect themselves."

Three billion lives vanish in an instant.

<lj-cut text="More below cut">It’s now the year 2032. The war between man and machine has been raging on for nearly 28 years, with neither side able to make a lasting impact on either force. Where one machine drops, another is quick to fill its place. Where one human dies, another is freed from imprisonment. These are hard times, where mankind is pushed to their limits in the name of survival.

July 4th 2032;
Things take a drastic turn for the worse. A simple mistake, a memory of a past life, and the leader of the Resistance is assassinated Managing to capture the assassin, Katherine [Brewster] Connor has the T-850 reprogrammed to be an aid to their side, and Tech-Com are forced to continue under her leadership.

October 17th 2033;
Following information that another attempt was going to be made on the earlier lives of various members of Tech-Com, Katherine decided to send back another Terminator unit in order to protect those targeted; both leaders and lieutenants. Using technology stolen from Skynet, engineers have managed to recreate a copy of the Time Displacement Equipment that the machines use for chronoportation (time travel). Without the opportunity to test the TDE, it is started up, ready to send back the Terminator.

A surge of power; thought to be that required to power the TDE. A flash of bright light, the thunder of electricity, and the edges of the platform are aflame. Rushing to put out the fires, the crew discover a new problem. Not only did it seem the process had failed, but there had been another issue; a new arrival. A human. A familiar human...only younger than any remembered.

An unconscious, nineteen year old, John Connor. Their attempts to send him back only brought around further problems. Yet more people seemed to be appearing. Faces unfamiliar to all those present.

Who were these people? And how were they able to come backwards through the TDE? They were questions that remained unanswered as they realised one, new fact; they now had a way to increase the size of their troops too. Needs overtook ethics, and the TDE was now seen as a saviour in their darkest times.</lj-cut>

<center>GAME INFORMATION</center>
Never Safe is a panfandom, InsaneJournal RPG set in the post-Judgment Day world of the Terminator series. It allows characters from all fandoms to interact with each other in an apocalyptic world.

The game begins with your character surrounded by a ring of fire. As it dies down, they are able to make out the pulsing blue lights around the room as the TDE powers down. A shiver, and they discover they are naked, though there are clothes nearby. Generic coveralls in all sizes imaginable.

There's a knock on the door, giving your character the warning they need. Time to get dressed and head out to see what's going on.

With mankind on the verge of extinction, are you willing to take up the fight?

Hopefully, assuming we can gain enough members, the game can open up by the end of the month so we can get on with playing.

	Three or four more players would even get this place going. Hnn. Usually start with people you know, and attempt to convince them to join. Usually that's how groups start. (Reply to this)
