Hididdlyhi, fellow players--I'm Joan. Some of you already know me; for those that don't, I apologize in advance. ;)

I've taken up Guy (freakin') Gardner, the best damn Green Lantern ever. Or so he'll say. Repeatedly. He definitely has no secret identity, because why would he want to hide how awesome he is? And he'll pretty much be that guy (or that Guy...?) who actually says what everyone else is thinking. He's not everybody's cup of tea, which should really make some interactions fun, but he's a loyal friend and teammate once you get past the deliberate attempts at irritation. He's just seeing how much you can take!

He's a member of the Green Lantern Corps off on Oa, but here on Earth he's also a member of the JGA, fighting the good fight and definitely enjoying taking out the trash. He also owns a bar in NYC that could be used as a hangout!

Just a quick heads up: I'm pretty new to DC so I might not get some canon references readily at this point, but I'm always willing to use my good buddy Google.

So...let's see. Haters? Friends? Opportunities to piss off Batman? Hookups? Teammates? People looking for an encounter with an obnoxious dude in the bar? Aaaand...any people interested in playing Bea or Tora?

Lar is friendly! Damian is not...but he's Batman's kid and it runs in the family. Rose can be friendly but she's a baddie so I don't think they will get on. Although now that I think of it, Rose and Guy can be a lot alike at times. Oi. DC made two of them I see.

But yeah, Lar/Mon-El is an all around nice guy, really hard to piss off and he might not always get your jokes (And a lot of what Guy might say will go right over his head) but he won't make fun of you.

I luff you for picking up Guy.

Mon-El...wasn't that a one-hit wonder band in the Seventies? XD So sayeth the Guy. But if he's friendly Guy probably won't have problems with him. He can be decent when he's not trying to yank your chain, and if you're laid-back he'll give it up pretty easily. No point and it would just be being an ass.

Rose/Guy thread of d00m! All around them should cringe in fear. Mwahahaha.

Oh hi! This is Meesha!

I've got Jade (this journal) presently is off in LA, leading The Outsiders and hanging out, sometimes with Kyle Rayner. Her dad is Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern and so, due to genetic contamination, was imbued with all of his Green Lantern-y powers thanks to the Starheart with which he carved out his lantern. She has GL powers too, but no ring. Kind of sad, but it works for her. Its fun for her to work outside of the system a bit. She doesn't need the Guardians getting on her ass about doing stupid things. >.> Anyways, personality-wise she's a bit of a hippie/hipster. She's nice though and...I can actually see her getting along with Guy. Oh, yeah, and she doesn't have a secret identity. (It ain't easy being green...) And Todd "I'm kind of crazy and evil" Rice is her twin.

I also have Power Girl, Kara Zor-L/Karen Starr (

pee_gee) hanging out with the JSA. She's Superman's rather well endowed cousin from Krypton. But...to make everything even ultra-more confusing, she's from another reality, where Clark Kent was her uncle and was married to Lois. She had lived there nine years before she got punted do to some catastrophe and shipped to this reality. She's been on the scene for about two years, fighting the good fight. If Supes, Batman and Wonder Woman are A-list, she's definitely B or C. If not Double D. (*rimshot*) She's kind of the misfit of the Supes clan, but she tries really hard. Her alter-ego Karen Starr is owns Starrlabs, a R&D company that does stuff and also makes iPhone apps. (Like...Tweet*Starr, in case Guy is into Twittering.)

Anyways! Yay! Welcome! I'm so excited! We'll have to do a Team GL scene, y/y?

Kyle/Guy bromance is awesome.

And you already know what problems I have trying to find redheaded male PBs. Oy.

Guy will make flirty/snarky remarks to PG and probably ogle her chest. Because really, that's why Guy does best. And that chest is impossible to ignore, so why would he even try? I'll have to see about Twitter, since I could see Guy being the sort to make hilarious and/or inappropriate tweets.

Since Jade is Alan's kid and Kyle's buddy (and he may be picking up on some romantic vibes there, not sure of their in-game history?) he'd probably treat her as one of "the guys". Well, a really hot "one of the guys" he wouldn't mind having sex with, but he'd respect Kyle too much to horn in. And psh, Guy prefers to ignore the existence of the system. That's for chumps like Hal. ;)

Welcome welcome. Carlin at your service with people of peopledom. So I honestly have no clue how any of my characters would -- OH HAI BLACK HAND I forgot you were in my roster for a minute there!

As Black Hand is more or less Green Lantern's biggest enemy of crazy death sorts, Guy will come into contact with him. Heck, Guy even beat the snot out of him when Will snapped back in the late 80s/early 90s (he was in therapy and actually being legit and everything). Tora was so pissed at him. This Will isn't that one, though. That one was just a mastermind/criminal. MINE is the revamped sociopathic version. He kills people with his cosmic divining rod filled with stolen light from lantern rings! Ooo! :D

Obsidian might interact with him a little through his sister being quasi-part of the GLs. I don't think they'd get along. At. All. Best to keep those two separate or someone might be put into a coma. It's a toss-up on exactly who.

Lastly is Red Hood. Jason Todd has no interest in Guy whatsoever so they aren't likely to cross paths. He would, however, find his jabs at Bruce amusing if he ever heard them.

	Guy says BRING IT ON to Black Hand. Because that's how he rolls, yo. Never backs down from a fight, particularly if he got to start it! Obsidian's sister is Jade, I assume? I've got two characters here and they probably won't run into Guy any time soon, but hey, you never know. (Although both are too young to hang out in bars.)

On the Gotham side of things, I've got Cassandra Cain, who is the current Batgirl. She was raised by an assassin and has leet ninja skills. She gets over to LA every now and then to check in with the Outsiders. Basically, she doesn't talk much and can't read, but she is awesome at dodging bullets.

Then I also have Atlee whose the new Terra. She's currently Power Girl's roommate and unofficial sidekick. She's basically a wide eyed girl whose literally been living under a rock (no, seroiusly) and thinks being a hero is awesome. She's still getting used to things like sushi and Ikea and those pesky secret identities. And one day, she might even try school. ^_~

But yes, random runs are totally love. ♥

Psh. Guy likes being around kids, for all he can be a deliberate jerk to adults. He would be the sort to keep ice cream at the bar for kids to make them milkshakes...SO LONG AS NOBODY TELLS ON HIM. I'm debating saying his bar is in NY rather than on Oa right now if that's OK by you, since it could provide some more plot opportunity then?

Whereas Guy talks too much and is a lot smarter than he lets on, but I could see him getting on OK with Cassie, given his abusive childhood and his working with special needs children. He can go easy on those that are more vulnerable due to the hand life has dealt them.

Well, if Guy is annoying PG he could run into Terra. And he'd probably think she's cute--look at him and Milagro. :D

Okay so I have Ted Kord | Blue Beetle II (This journal) who is with Guy in the JGA! I also have Dinah Lance | Black Canary II (

canarynoir) who is with the JLA, and works with the Birds of Prey. Then there's Tom Bronson | Wildcat II (

wildlikeacat) who is the son of the orginal Wildcat, and hangs out with the JSA. Yes. All my characters had to be the second person to have their codename ;)

When my brain is a little less fuzzy and tired, I will come back and give you a MUCH better comment :D

He'll flirt with Babs and complain about the orders sometimes. Naturally. Although he won't make wheelchair jokes, no worries. He can be an ass but he's not a total prick, and I imagine some of the kids he taught were wheelchair-bound.

Guy may not like Bruce (shocking, I know) but he and Bats are on the same side, so I doubt he'd help someone trying to take him out. Sorry. ;)

Oh God, Pam/Guy is just cracktastic enough in my head that it may need to be written.

Well, if you do get time, ask Fearless Mod about it? 'Cause I'd love to have a Tora to totally wear the pants (and a Bea to be a total cockblocker would be great too. Mwah.)

Let's see...what is there to be said about Guy that hasn't already been said? Absolutely nothing.

Harley and him probably won't meet up, which is fine with her. She doesn't want to go to Arkham again!

Huntress, however, has opportunity to meet him. And punch him. A lot. Poor guy.

And Wonder Woman...tolerates him. She tolerates a lot of people, but you know...there has to be SOMETHING about Guy to like if he's a GL. She'll try very hard to like him.

Hey joan! I´m Stacey. Welcome to the game.

Anyway, I´ve got two characters here, and I´ll give you a quick rundown of them since you´re new to DC.

The first one is Mia Dearden (this journal). She´s 17 years old, and she´s the second person to be Green Arrow´s sidekick and to hold the name Speedy. You can read up on her info for more information, but basically she possesses absolutely no filter between her brain and her mouth and is know for her inappropriate sarcasm. I don´t see that she´d interact much, if any, with Guy, but she´s used to Green Lanterns! ONe of Kyle Rayner´s biffles seems to be Connor, and Hal and Ollie are also all biffle like. ~~She totally needs a Lantern or Flash to hang out with.~~

The second of these characters is Zinda Black "Lady Blackhawk"

zindas She a time dispaced, kickass pilot. She flew with the Blackhawks in WWII and was the first woman to do so. THey continued to run missions after the war, and one of them the team ran afoul of a temporal manipulator, and Zinda got dumped 60 years into the future. She finally found her way, and now works for the Birds of Prey as pilot and agent. We can probably plot something with Guy and Zinda. She´s dealt with big egos her entire career. There´s nothing quite like pilots after all. She´d probably be stuck between rolling her eyes and find him amuzing.

Hi Joan! I'm Rose. Welcome to the game~

I have the first Green Arrow, aka Oliver "Ollie" Queen. Who is awesome, and boisterous and very, very liberal. Ocassionally, he can be a hot-head. He flirts with any female he meets, much to the chagrin of Black Canary, who is basically his wife even if she won't marry him.

Ollie operates out of Star City, in California. He's got a son, Connor, who is the second Green Arrow. And he's got his ward/will be adopted daughter Mia, who is his sidekick. He took her in after helping her get away from her pimp.

Then there's is Roy Harper, who now goes by Red Arrow but was the first Speedy. Ollie adopted him at 13, and kind of fucked up as a good parent. Roy got into drugs in his late teens, and when Ollie found out, he completely lost it and kicked Roy out. Things were tough between them for a while. But now they're better. Rounding out the Arrow Family is Roy's five year old daughter Lian, who is staying with Ollie while Roy is away (AKA 'til we find a replacement).

Anyway, Ollie is very familiar with this Green Lantern business, since he's long-time bffs with Hal Jordan. :D

Hey Joan, Bill here with Superman, Ra's al Ghul, Tim Drake, and most importantly to Guy, Kyle Rayner.

I just hit up the email Meesh sent us, but I was thinking Kyle has been a GL for about five years now which should give Guy plenty of time to have been around before him. I'd like to develop the sort of partnership/friendship they have in the comics, and... yeah. There's just so much I may have to email you separately or try to catch you on AIM to figure things out.

I figure it's likely that Superman has run into Guy on a few occasions. The big blue boyscout is probably the pinnacle of patience around him and virtually immune to his antics, lol.

Not sure if Tim would have met him or not...

And Ra's would without a doubt despise him.

Hey! I just wanted to drop you a note because this is confusing...!

In the Guy+YJ+PG scene, I keep having Power Girl refer to herself as Kara and I just wanted to explain that real quick.

Power Girl's Kryptonian name is Kara Zor-L, so that's how she refers to herself, especially considering she spends most of her time as Power Girl anyways. Her civilian name is Karen Starr, which Guy would know her as. That and Power Girl.

I hope that makes sense!

BB3 and him had this awkward epic friendship of wat in the Blue Beetle comics ~~ignoring it all started out with Guy trying to kill him~~. The hilarity if these two ever interacted...
