his Asylum is dedicated to all writers over the age of 30/ 35 years old (or older) who can't find someone to write with in the usual communities which seem to have been taken over by twenty something's or even younger people.

Please. Don't take offence in this. It's just that sometimes, some of us prefer to write with people closer to our ages and more experience in life.

There is also the matter of:

* Communication. Which I found sometimes it's not the same between younger people and older than 30.

* Fandoms. Some of which younger people have barely even heard of and we still would love to write.

* Actors & Actresses. Sure we watch TV. Movies and we read. We keep adding PBs and characters to our lists all the time!

But truth is. Sometimes we go to the usual communities and we have NO idea who the person in the icon is! (This doesn't makes us old. We just don't move in the places that perhaps you do. Like perhaps you guys want to play people from reality shows. You tubers. Fighters from the Mixed Martial Arts. Wrestlers. etc. And some of us are just not interested in that)

This is a place in where people who wants to PSL or find partners for GPSLs around their age. They can.

Needless to say. If you are under 30 years old you won't be accepted in the community. I'm sorry. I'm doing this with the hope to make a place in where my decade can find partners who will hopefully communicate and commit like we used to years ago.

* To join the community please fill in the short application and wait to be accepted.

I am trying to see if there might be interest in a slice of life OC game set in the 1940's on the cusp of WW2 over at Dreamwidth. I cannot find anything over there that might let me ask this question.

Not sure if it would be a dressing room type thing or a full game. Depending on the response I get, it could be a full game, or it could end up just being a PSL that I play with my writing partner because I want this setting so badly! LOL

watchersplease
WATCHERS, PLEASE...
In the beginning, there was only the Creator. And She created the world; its lands and seas, peoples and beasts. She created the Keeper, to rule over the dead. She gave the world to her people, whom She loved dearly, to do with what they would. The people multiplied, forming their cultures and societies, and were faithful to the Creator. And when there were many, the Creator made the Watchers: lesser deities to watch her people and report. You see, there are simply too many people for the Creator to keep track of, too many prayers to answer. The Watchers watch, and tell Her what her creations need.

But they speak in His ear, too.

She gave the Watchers free will, and perhaps that was Her greatest mistake. Not every Watcher is good. Not every prayer is answered by the Creator. The Keeper speaks to the Watchers, too, and He does not want for good in the realm of the living. He wants only to rule all, with the death of all things.

You, the player, are a Watcher, and the choice is up to you. Will you do good or evil? Which prayers will you answer? Which side are you on?

Watchers, Please is an original high-fantasy game in a medieval setting where the players themselves are the gods. You are a Watcher. Characters pray, and players submit requests. Every week, players will vote on which prayers and requests will be answered – and by whom, and how. How do you want to rule? Only one thing is certain: characters should be careful with what they wish for.

Kismet, U.S.A.

PREMISE | RULES |WANTED | TAKEN | APPLY

1849. Settlers from the East move West with fever dreams of fame and fortune, digging hands into the dirt in hopes of striking gold. Hoping that lady luck were on their side, a small collective of people eventually settled down in the midwestern countryside. They built a small town which they named Kismet, a word which meant 'karma.' For the townspeople of Kismet, karma was an important concept; they believed that in life, there exists a constant struggle between the moral good and the moral evil. All of life is made up of action and consequence, and true justice, they believed, was born from the balance; a perfect harmony between the Alpha and the Omega. Though few found maifest destiny, the town prospered.

Over the years the small town grew and grew, until eventually it gave birth to a modern city. Buildings were erected, a school was built; the population swelled. Over the years, the citizens existed peacefully, and violent crimes remained at a low. But with the 1920's came prohibition; the mob took full advantage of Kismet, eventually infiltrating the government of the once model place, and dipping into the police force, leading to fewer arrests and more criminals. The citizens gave up on the police; eventually, vigilantes and so called 'heroes' began popping up as criminal activity continued to rise higher and higher. The once beautiful city was swallowed up, dissolving into a megalopolitan of scandal.

Now the citizens of Kismet endure a civil war of sorts; heroes and villains are at a constant head, fighting for complete control of the city and all of her inhabitants. The government remains corrupt, tainted by what remains of the mob who owns most of the buildings and the banks, and essentially many of the citizens themselves. The townsfolk are forced to choose sides, many foolishly choosing neutrality until someone, or something, forces their hand. Good and evil have been replaced with survival, in the city where violence and terror never sleep. So the question still remains: who will win the battle, over good and evil? And which side are you on?

Kismet, U.S.A., is an alternate, multi-universe roleplaying game set in the fictional city of Kismet, U.S. Characters consist of heroes, anti-heroes, villains, and civilians. Characters may be from alternate canons (for example: Marvel, DC, Darkhorse) and may be from multiple sources (film, television, comics). Players must be 18+. Please read the rules before applying.

Who will prevail?

AC3 please [Jan. 10th, 2016|07:57 pm]

Looking for a rp partner for my Connor from Assassins Creed 3. For anyone who hasn't played the game before, Connor is described as the most brutal out of all the Assassin protagonist due to his Mohawk style of combat (he is half Mohawk and half English, he's also built like a brick shithouse). Though, outside of that he is a gentle giant. I haven't played him in a few years but I got the itch. An OC, perhaps a woman from money travelling from England to the New Territories, or maybe a simple girl set to marry against her will. It will be set just before the American Revolution and there will be the age old conflict between Assassins and the Templars. Fun times.

frostfern
Hello, hello! Looking for lines with this cutie pants. I use him as a PB for Jack Frost, but I also have a few characters I wouldn't mind playing around with. I wouldn't mind something in the Rise of the Guardians fandom, but not necessary. A Pitch Black would be awesome, or an older Jamie Bennett. Crossovers welcome as well. I love historical lines as well, so if you have any ideas of time periods you'd like to dip into I would be more than happy to! I also don't mind supernatural, werewolves/vampires and the list goes on. :) So if interested in batting around some idea's please send a message here!

Thank you! And Happy Holidays :)
