Rating: Low I'm sure.

Nancy had spent an inordinate amount of time simply exploring the house and avoiding the others. Much to her surprise it was all so strange. The house itself was nice; old, and in some cases dark, This room in particular interested her, elegant and classy yet something about it seemed to just call to her on some level. Perhaps it was the lack of windows or the darkness, the close feeling of it, but she liked it.

She drew her fingers across the back of the sofa as she walked slowly past it, taking in the details as she looked around, realizing that this room could serve many purposes- the least of which being a gathering. Perhaps the others preferred all sorts of light and were drawn to the other, more airy rooms, but this one was just right.

Off to the corner was a bookshelf and her curiosity intensified. There was a full library not far from here; the owner of the house must have been an enthusiastic reader. Head tilted slightly as she walked, Nancy stopped before the shelf as she took in the various titles that rested here, dusty and untouched. That alone was interesting. But one of the older books toward the bottom caught her attention, and she lowered herself to brush the dust from its jacket before removing it.

Wraiths, Spectres, and Revenents: Summoning and Mastery of Spirits

Now that was interesting, and she stood as she flipped through the pages. This was an old book, and she decided that it would be better to store it in her room. Clutching it tightly to her chest with one hand she began searching the shelf for others, pulling books with unclear titles from the shelf just a bit to view them- until she heard something in the room- or thought she did.

"Who's there?" she called as she stood, turning to face the doorway; perhaps she was simply hearing things.
