Purgatory Opens
Who: Everyone
Where: Purgatory
When: Saturday Night
Status: In Progress

"Open the doors," Draco said with a nod to his head of security. He was nervous but the club was ready.

Purgatory was brilliant. It's location was excellent and the set up couldn't have been better. While the building looked like a nondescript outreach center to the muggle population, to the wizards eye, the outside, once lit promised Heaven or Hell to the club goer.

The levels of Purgatory had been expertly decorated in different themes. Hell was the bottom floor. With flashing lights, music, and blacks and reds, this was the party goers dream. It would be an area of continuous movement, ready for anything to happen. It was the place to see and be seen.

On the second level, overlooking Hell, was Purgatory. While getting some of it's energy from Hell, Purgatory offered comfortable seating, for relaxing with friends, getting to know someone, or just having a drink in general. The patrons in hell could come and go freely. The decor was a bit brighter in color, and the candles added a lower key environment, in contrast from the perpetual motion of hell.

On the third level, closed off from the others, was Heaven. Decorated in whites, silver, and gold, it looked like one of the finest lounges that could be found. A pianist filled the room with soothing music, charmed to keep the noise from the lower levels out. Purebloods only were admitted to Heaven, the VIP lounge.

The music poured through the gates of hell as people began to come in, greeted by the staff. Draco watched as they came in with a smirk at his own brilliance.

In this place, party-goers can drink, dance, and have fun. This level is the life of the party. Live music will be offered here. The waitstaff is scantily dressed in reds and blacks that are set off by the lights also in the room.

Megan Jones was here and ready to get extremely smashed. She'd decided after the loss against the Arrows on Friday she was going to use this opportunity to not only celebrate the end of a decent season but drink until she could forgive the Falcons' seeker for letting the other team grab that snitch. It'd take a few she'd decided. Though it wouldn't be until Friday when the final points were tallied, reviewed, and posted Megan had already decided to not get her hopes up about making it to the final. They were going up against the numbers gathered from the Magpies and United, both of whom played extremely great matches over the season.

She absently resented the fact that they could have been there already...if it wasn't for that damned slow as slugs seeker!

Dressed in a pair of dark muggle slacks and an oversized gauze tunic Megan had arrived without Zacharias. She'd been out with her brothers all day in Brighton and had made a point to emphasis to her other half that she'd meet him there. Upon arrival she hadn't seen him with the first scan of the base level - not that she was really looking. After the location of the bar was made...she went to inspect for him there.

"Could I get a red fire dragon martini please?" Megan asked the bartender with a pleasant smile. As she turned back to face the growing crowd she realized someone was standing directly behind her. Close enough to warrant and uncomfortable laugh and an exaggerated lean back. "Well, hullo," she said awkwardly before placing a face to the body invading her space.

Draco walked through the bottom level of the club, checking to make sure that all the guests were enjoying themselves. He talked to a few patrons along the way and nodded to others. Overall, he was amazed at the success of the place. It was actually a club that he would go to regularly if he didn't already own it.

He turned quickly and nearly tripped over Megan, near the bar. "I guess you are feeling better," he said. "What do you think of my place so far? I have to admit that it is quite stylish."

Megan quickly recognized who it was and smiled. Despite the fact that she and Draco weren't frequent acquaintances she wouldn't have passed up the opportunity to check out what promised to be the hottest new club in the wizarding world. Regardless of her opinions of the man back in school it seemed he'd calmed down significantly, which was obviously why she didn't particularly flinch when she placed a name to the person.

"I am thank you and it is stylish!" Megan offered cheerfully giving the place a scan. "Congratulations on the opening, Draco" she said patting the man on the shoulder. "It's definitely brilliant! Are you pleased with it!?" she asked happily as she paid for her drink and took it in hand.

"I always deliver. I did have some help in the decorating scheme, but it is brilliant. I am really a bit more formal than all of this," he said, shaking his head. He could be charming and surprisingly friendly when he wasn't so guarded and he had learned that there was a good time to try to get along with most. He found that he actually enjoyed talking to those he might not have in school, not that he admitted to it.

"You didn't bring your usual attachment with you?" he asked, referring to Zach. He wasn't too offended by that. Zach would probably be looking for the first way to get himself thrown out like the wanker he was.

Megan had laughed at Draco's attempt to convince her he was more formal than a place like this. Though she had to admit she was surprised that a Malfoy was opening a dance club of this (or any) variety. But in the end she'd decided formality was hardly an issue style or taste wise. It was a money making venture...and though it was a bit strange to think of Draco getting his groove on amongst the dance floor...he did good from the looks of it.

She'd been in mid sip of her drink when Zach was mentioned. She offered a casual shrug, "We're not exactly attached to the hip, believe it or not. He'll be here eventually, I'm sure. He wouldn't miss something like this." Megan went to sip at her drink and paused to ask, "What about you? Where's your devastatingly gorgeous date this evening, hm?" She would have asked about Parkinson by name, but she'd been under the impression that the infamous Slytherin duo had...called it quits finally.

Draco grinned and raised an eyebrow. "While I would love to say that I had one for my own opening, I am afraid that my attention would not be on her, but on the club. There are a few around that do need some attention though." He gave her a sly smile. While he didn't happen to have a formal date, the club was not without options and he was going to enjoy those between his rounds around the floors.

"Honestly, you could do better than Smith though," he continued. He pointed around the room. "There are many of fish out there. I suggest trying something new." He wasn't sure how she would take that but it was worth a shot.

Draco Malfoy was not the first to suggest that she could do better than Zacharias. If anything people told her this on a regular basis and she was hardly phased by it anymore. In fact, she'd deemed it a necessary evil being with someone like Smith. Thankfully the former Hufflepuff had a decent sense of humour and didn't take that sort of suggestion personally.

"Thanks," she said before snorting herself into a brief chuckle Megan's smile that had been present when Draco was describing his evening prey widened. "But, I'm not a big fan of new fish," she commented with a shrug. "I like ... the snark ridden sharks with small brains and lots of muscle," she explained with an air of humoured sarcasm. "Not. That. I think...Zacharias has...a small brain..." Megan had caught herself and laughed realizing it was pointless to backtrack. "Don't tell him I said that."

Now Draco snorted. Most at Hogwarts were used to him being quite serious. He rarely laughed, at least not in a good-natured way. "I won't tell him. I do think his brain is quite small. I wouldn't have him thinking otherwise." He shrugged at the admission. She had to have heard that a time or two. "I can't imagine that he actually knows how to treat a lady like a lady. A pint at the pub is not a proper offering for a lady."

Draco had a habit of saying what he felt, regardless of what people thought of it. He actually hadn't intended for it to hurt her feelings. "If he does show up, kindly keep him in control. While he wants to be the first to get tossed out on his arse, I would like to see the rest of the crowd have a good time."

Megan grinned at Draco's implication that he thought her to be a lady. She was quite certain the man had no idea what sort of lady she was. Having come from a middle class family who embraced the small things in life... Megan Jones was definitely that type of girl that enjoyed (if not requested) a pint.

Despite the wealth that came with her status as a professional quidditch player, the woman was rather down to earth. She was definitely considered low maintenance compared to her peers which was probably why Zacharais stuck around. Not that she minded of course. And she certainly didn't see the point of correcting the other man.

"I'll do my best," she offered. "Though, I can't make any promises. If something happens you have my permission to hex him a little in the back alley. I won't tell."

Draco's impressions of women and his tastes were very traditional. He likes women who could be soft, and feminine, liked to take care to have their hair done and just the right makeup and perfume. He loved them in dresses and heels, found them absolutely sexy. He didn't mind having a pint with one now and then but the majority of those that he chose to date were very similar in style and wealth, very high maintenance.

"If he decides to be an arse, it won't be a little hex," he said with a laugh. "I know he enjoys it and I will leave you to it and head upstairs to check on the rest."

She had lost Katie and Angelina some where down below when she needed to get a bit of air and a drink. Despite the recent trip for Katie's birthday that had been filled with nights out dancing, it had felt like forever between then and now. Alicia blamed it on the time she had spent in France with her uptight, yet loving, aunt. But that was in the past and this was the now. Things were good. At least for her. Her suspension was nearly up and she was anxious to get back on the pitch and prepare for the up-coming season. She had already spoken with the Arrow's manager with her concerns about returning, but he put her mind at ease.

It was really uncommon how excited she had been about dressing up to go to a club. Her usual attire of fitted jeans and comfortable tops wouldn't cut it. Not for a club that Malfoy was opening considering who she would be attending the opening with. She still often wondered how in Merlin's name they had ever happened. But they had and regardless of what his history was, at least his father's history, she found herself helplessly drawn to her pureblooded, ex-Slytherin, son-of-a-decesased-death eater significant other. She was lucky, and surprised, that Katie and Angelina hadn't completely disowned her by now.

She had lost Theodore as well shortly after arriving. She wasn't too surprised about that, though. Alicia was fairly certain he had gone to find Draco and few others away from the loud music and sea of bodies that seemed to be congregating in the pits of Hell. Alicia snickered at the pun against the rim of her glass as she returned her attention to watching the crowd dancing below her. Part of her was slightly jealous of those who had dressed comfortably. Regardless, though, she felt amazing in the plum dress she had decided to wear to the opening. Even the black heels were comfortable. She had worried, slightly, that it was too dressy, but the pleasant look on Theodore's face when she met up with him wiped her worries away.

Finishing her drink, Alicia made a face at the empty glass and considered getting another drink.

Vicky arrived at the club after the first hour. She expected a good turnout for the opening considering the advertising they had done, and the fact that most people flocked to things to which Draco's name was attached. He had made quite a name for himself in the wizarding world, and it was no surprise that people were curious to see what sort of club he was opening.

The interior looked different now with people filling almost every nook and cranny, but the atmosphere was just as Draco had envisioned in his mind. Vicky knew he was an innovator, but this just further proved that fact. The former Gryffindor weaved her way through the crowd, saying hello to various people she came across. Tonight, she was dressed in all black, but it was stylish enough to garner looks from those she passed. A uniquely designed corset top matched with a form fitting skirt, and comfortable black shoes. Vicky knew she'd never survive the night if her feet weren't comfortable.

She spotted a familiar face in the distance, and made her way over toward Alicia. "Hi!" She said as she placed a hand upon Alicia's arm. "It's so good to see you!" The music was loud, and she had to speak louder than usual. At least it wasn't as loud as Hell; Vicky had a suspicion that she wouldn't hear her own thoughts down there.

Alicia felt the hand on her arm and quickly turned her attention to the source, a smile growing wide across her face. "Vicky!" While she had lost Katie and Angelina earlier, she had been trying to find some sort of familiar face. Seeing Vicky's was a relief and a joy. Careful not to spill her drink on the girl's dress, Alicia leaned in and gave her friend a warm hug. "It's good to see you, too! How've you been?" It was fairly difficult to hold a conversation, but they could manage for the time being.

Of course, the music grew louder, and Alicia made a face. Finishing off her drink, she set it on a passing waiter's tray. "I think there's an open table further back." At least they could sit, talk and catch up with each other. It, really, had been far too long since she had last seen Vicky.

Taking the other girl's hand, she headed towards said table. It wasn't a huge difference, but at least the music from down below wasn't blaring over them as much. Sinking down into the plush chair at the table, Alicia let out a content sigh, grinning widely. "So just where have you been, stranger? It's been ages!"

It was indeed a relief to see a friendly face in the crowd. Vicky returned Alicia's hug before she grabbed one of the drinks that a server was handing out to guests. "I've been busy," she said with a rueful grin, though her eyes said that she was happy to see her friend. She nodded when Alicia mentioned the open table, and with her friend in hand they weaved their way through the crowd to the table in the back.

It was a veritable island in the sea of people, and Vicky breathed a sigh of relief when they finally sat down. She settled into her seat, and leaned in closer to Alicia. "I've actually been working... for Draco!" She giggled a bit, and then shook her head. "Can you believe it? I've been helping him with this place. Finances and all that." She took a sip of her drink, and smiled. It was tasty. "It took up quite a bit of time. But I think it all turned out nicely, don't you?" Vicky looked around the club, and nodded as she did. She really was pleased with how everything turned out.

It is for Purebloods only or anyone else Draco should invite. This is his own paradise. It is only half the size of the other two floors and looks as if there is one more section attached to it.

There were very few people in the world that liked a good party more than Gwendolyn. Having visited most of the other clubs in Diagon Alley and a great portion of those in muggle London Gwen was quite an expert at clubs. In fact, she'd gone out to buy a special dress for the occasion. It had taken forever to find just the right attire that was risqué enough for a club and yet stylish enough for an opening, but in the end Gwen looked stunning in red. Arriving fashionably late, as usual, Gwen came by herself, Melinda didn't really do clubs, and this was hardly the sort of thing at which she wanted to be dragged down by a date. As she was granted entrance to the club, Gwendolyn caught Draco's eye not too far from the door and gave him a wink before moving further through the crowds.

She had to admit, the place looked absolutely fantastic with the lights on and the music blaring, though the after hours atmosphere certainly had its own charm. Although Gwen spent some time down with the throng in Hell, it took her very little time before she was making her way up toward the elite part of the club where Gwen hoped to find her friends.

It had taken some time to work through the levels of the club but he did manage to get up to his own bit of Heaven. This level was made to his specifications, very posh and relaxing, elegant without being too much. It was also very private, charmed to keep the other noise out. Instead, soft music played and the patrons could talk without having to strain to hear each other.

He had seen Gwennie go up, minus a date. That always made his life quite interesting. Now, he accepted a glass of Wizard Star from the bartender and looked around at the small crowd of purebloods and personal friends. "So, what do you think, now that you have seen my club under all the lights? I do think it is a smashing success." Her dress had not escaped his notice and he smiled, appreciating the effort of a woman who always looked good.

Gwendolyn spent a bit of time talking to friends here and there ass he moved across the room of the more private area. It was rather nice, actually, intimate and just the sort of thing one might expect. It certainly helped that the general public wasn't permitted entrance. By the time Draco arrived she was well into her second glass of the very best wizarding champagne. When Draco walked up to her, Gwen flashed him a smile. "I think it's fantastic Draco," she said smoothly, holding up the half empty glass in a toast. "Three cheers, darling. Quite a success."

"That it is," he said, clinking his glass against Gwennie's. He offered her a charming smile, still playing the host. "I can always draw a crowd even if half of them are here out of their own curiosity. They will be back." He took a drink of his own glass. He was drinking rather slowly as he still had a long night ahead. "The last time you were here, it was still dark. What do you think now that it is all lit up?"

He leaned in a little closer, near her ear. "And you look ravishing," he added.

"I'm sure they will," she responded with an easy smile as she took another sip from her glass. "It's a brilliant, success, darling and I'm sure it will be spoken of for days," Gwendolyn added with a smile. "The darkness had it's appeal, but I will admit that it looks much better and comfortable than I thought it would with the lights on."

Had they been alone, Gwendolyn would likely have been unable to keep her hands off him. As it was she was behaving quite well and smiled as he leaned in close. "Ravishing? Is that a proposition Mr. Malfoy," she teased, before flashing him a smile. "You look quite handsome."

"My investments always turn out right," he said, kissing her cheek. It was something he couldn't resist while he was there. He could see them being very busy if it wasn't for the population of the club. "Perhaps it is a proposition, darling."

He pulled back a moment later, giving her a more innocent look, except for that gleam in his eyes. "How is it that you came unescorted tonight? I know there are many who would be glad to see that you have a good time." He was thinking about what Malcolm had told him. It was another thing he wasn't going to complain about though. He got more attention that way.

Gwen's smile brightened at the peck on the check and she couldn't help but gently run her hand across his lapel. More so just so she could tough him, but still appearing innocent from afar. Her eyes shone. "I can't imagine turning such an opportunity down," she smiled over her drink as she innocently sipped her champagne. Ruddy guests.

Gwen's mind didn't even go in the direction of Malcolm. As much as she adored his company, he was not someone she saw often, unfortunately. Instead she thought momentarily of Melinda at home. She smiled however at Draco's wards, and shook her head as if to suggest it was of no consequence. "What can I say, so many offers so little time to spend with them all. Surely you have an equally lovely escort yourself?"

Draco laughed, and shrugged it off. Their lives were their own. He liked it that way. They could hook up, shag each other senseless and continue on perfectly without the nonsense of emotional hang-ups. "I am actually working this evening," he told her. "This is my club and between all the floors, I have no time to focus on anyone, which may change by the time it closes."

His lips curled up in a smirk. "I would have thought you would bring a date but there are many here that would be more than willing to entertain, plus..." he said pausing and leaning in, getting the scent of her perfume in his nose, "more for me later." He pulled back and took a drink, the look not so innocent this time.

Vicky made her way up to Draco's private floor after she had spent some time with Alicia in Purgatory. It was nice being able to catch up with her friend, but she couldn't help but want to see Draco. They had worked so close together during the entirety of the project that it couldn't be helped that some feelings had developed. At the very least there was an intense attraction there that couldn't be denied.

Some seemed a little surprise to see Vicky up there. She was a half-blood after all, and there were still those who looked down upon that. The girl didn't care about that though. She carried herself with confidence, and smiled at everyone she passed. Though her biggest smile came when she spotted Draco, one that she quickly reined in. It wouldn't look good to look too excited.

"Draco," she said when she reached his side. "This is a great turnout." Vicky brought up the topic of work to mask the more lecherous thoughts that were in her mind.

Draco leaned down and brushed a kiss over Vicky's cheek, not even questioning what she would be doing in his upper levels. She had a standing invitation as far as he was concerned and it was his club, blood or not. "It is a pleasure to see you," he said formally, although his eyes said something a bit different.

"I must say, the club turned out quite brilliant. The designers did better than I had hoped. I actually paid them a bit extra, even though we had negotiated the price down. It's is bloody well done," he continued. His eyes stayed on her, speaking for themselves while he talked, mimicking the same thoughts that were flowing through her head.

The brush of lips against her cheek was not unwelcome, and Vicky couldn't help the quickening beat of her heart. Her hand reached up to his chest for a moment, fingers curling slightly around the lapel to hold him close even for a few seconds. His words brought forth a slight chuckle, and she looked up at him. Draco's eyes spoke volumes, and Vicky had to answer. "It'll be more of a pleasure later, I'm sure." Vicky always went for what she wanted, and the only reason she had held off for long with Draco was because of his so-called girlfriend. But Pansy was nowhere to be seen tonight, and Vicky was feeling especially frisky.

"You spent more money without telling me?" Vicky put on a false air of shock, gasping playfully to add to her act. She giggled, and stepped a little closer to the client who had become so much more. "I would punish you, but I think you've made up the difference with tonight." She looked around at the club's surroundings, and then took a glass of champagne from a passing waiter. She took a sip from it, and then smiled. "Mmm, bubbly."

Draco stayed where he was, letting her fingers wander up his chest. "Yes it will," he said, in a huskier whisper. To anyone's eye, this would not seem to be an innocent discussion, but that didn't seem to matter. She was tempting him and he was falling into the routine.

He took the flute from her hand and took a drink, putting it back in her hand. He leaned down with his mouth next to her ear. "I might not mind being punished in the right way," he whispered, taking the opportunity to nibble discreetly on her lobe. "Better yet, if you like this bubbly liquid, imagine how it would feel on your skin with me licking it off." He pulled his head back and took the flute again. "I do love champagne."

Oh they were traveling into dangerous territory with their flirtations especially since he was a pureblood, and she was only half. But she was of the same mind as Draco - it didn't matter what anyone else thought. She knew what she wanted, and she had spent far too long depriving herself of it.

Vicky watched as he drank from her glass, only to return it a moment later. He leaned in, and the girl swore that her breath caught in her chest. He spoke, but his words did not impact her as much as his lips lingered near her ear. He nibbled there, and shivers ran up her spine. Oh god this was dangerous, and Vicky liked it.

Her eyes didn't leave his for a moment, and her mind was indeed thinking about the image that Draco put in her head. She stepped a little bit closer. "That better be a promise, Draco, and I expect you to follow through very soon."

"I promise, and when I promise, I always deliver," he whispered in return, placing a soft kiss on her lips. He lingered there for a moment before he pulled away. "I would say that we could meet in a few hours but I want more time than that."

His hand slipped around to the small of her back, discreetly roaming over the curve of her ass. "I think it is safe to say that the next time you see me in bed you will be next to me, or underneath me." He smiled, wishing he could leave right then but he had worked too hard on that club to let it go the first night.

Kissing in public? Was Draco insane! It wasn't that Vicky didn't enjoy the attention, and she wasn't afraid of anyone seeing her locking lips with the Malfoy heir. No, her worries were not for herself, but for Draco. There were still many people in the wizarding world who did not think half-bloods had a right to mingle with purebloods. She was half-Muggle, after all, and that was just as bad to some people. Still, Draco didn't seem to care. He was the one who initiated the kiss.

She could not deny that the press of his lips against hers felt good, felt right, and her own lips parted a little during that brief moment. She let out a soft, pleased moan, and she smiled once they parted. His words made her chuckle a bit, and she glanced at him from the corner of her eyes. "Why Mr. Malfoy, you are full of surprises." She stood on her tiptoes, and whispered in his ear. "I look forward to spending many hours at your mercy, and having you at mine."

Draco knew what he was doing. He was aware of the risks involved, but he was also in his place. It was his own private club and those guests seemed otherwise occupied. He wasn't sure that it would have mattered.

Following her whisper, he turned his head with a very sly smile. "I look forward to having you at my mercy as well, and then I will gladly give you a turn. And if you keep that up, I will have to take you into a back room and we can start right now." It wouldn't take much to get him to agree to it with the way he was feeling. "When would you like to get together and take care of this?"
