MEMORY!! WHO: Angela & Adam WHEN: About 30 Years Ago; Mid-70s WHERE: Petrelli home WHAT: Angela was never really faithful to Arthur... RATING: probably high
Angela couldn't express how relieved she was that Nathan was out of the house. Boy Scouts were every mother's savior. And this mother was exhausted. A whole weekend to herself. Completely to herself, as Arthur was off with Daniel in Las Vegas. Which, true, annoyed the hell out of her most of the time. He was always gone. And yes he was busy. And yes, they were busy getting things set up for The Company, but that wasn't an excuse to neglect your wife. Since he'd gone off to the war, since he'd met Daniel and the two of them had started plotting... well, Angela was starting to wonder what had happened to their marriage. Apparently the honeymoon was over. But this went a little beyond that. She wondered a lot of the time if maybe he was cheating on her.
With a sigh, Angela pushed the door open. Nathan was on his way to the camping trip and the driver had just dropped her off back home. She didn't need him for the weekend, she had a car and license. If she wanted to drive she could damned well do it herself. Not that she would. There wasn't anything she needed. Angela closed the door behind her, slipping out of the suit jacket she was wearing. Underneath she was wearing a thin, sort of silvery tank top. It was a little immodest, but she was home alone, so it didn't matter. In fact, considering no one was home and she was a little warm (it being in the 90s outside!) Angela slipped out of her skirt as well. She tossed both items on the stairs and headed toward the kitchen.
Opening the refrigerator, Angela was so engrossed in looking for something to snack on that she didn't even hear the footsteps behind her.
