2009 HD World Cup teams!
We are extremely excited to announce the teams for the 2009 HD World Cup! Below the cut is the list of participants chosen by the random number generator. Due to the number and range of applicants, we redid the number of participants in each position. The result was that we added one artist position and eliminated one author position. We have an amazing mix of new names and well-known ones. There are participants that are new to this competition, new to competition fests completely or returning participants! Team captains are highlighted in pink.
If your name is on the below list, please check your invitations here as you should have received an invitation to your team community. If there is any problem with your team assignment, your invitation, etc etc etc, please do not hesitate to email the mods or comment here. We are, after all, only human, and LJ has been well-known to eat invitations to communities in the past.
We did our best to assign you to your first choice of team though there are a few cases where an applicant received their second choice instead.
Participants, be sure to accept your invitation and friend the community! There is a post already in your team communities for you to introduce yourself to your fellow participants in addition to a very important notice about back-up positions!
