Week Eight - Saturday
Who: Slade and Anthony
Where: His place
When: Dinnertime
What: A bit of plottage, perhaps?

It had been far too long since she and Anthony had spent an evening cooking up the downfall of a mutual or, in this case individual, enemy whom they saw fit to take care of. Her curiosity was admittedly getting the better of her; it had been in full swing since the very first mention of the trouble that could be to come in the e-mail she'd sent to announce her return home - the very e-mail that had lead to their dinner plans for this evening. Truly, it was the conversation she was looking forward to most, nothing got an appetite going like talk of ruining lives and plotting against others. Now that the hour to share such delicious issues was nearly at hand, she could almost taste the havoc they could wreak.

Slade had even done so far as to dig up the gift box he'd left for her so soon after his arrival to Seattle, pulling it from it the black scrap he'd claimed was a dress. Usually she would dress for no man, wouldn't wear such a ridiculous get up if you paid her, but for tonight she was making an exception. After all, if he was going to give her the chance to cause a bit of trouble, then surely she could repay such generosity by donning some silly dress.

She left her office with enough time to come home and take a quick shower, washing away the scent that clung to Seattle, that faint hint of paltry little humans that clung to her high priced power-suits at the end of the day. Dark hair was washed and blow dried straight, then curled before she pinned it up and out of the way for the night - baring a tempting line of neck could never hurt when dealing with a vampire now could it? Or perhaps she simply liked to play with fire...it was her element, after all. Those icy eyes of hers were rimmed in smoky kohl liner, lips glossed in a pale pink before she tugged that little bit of fabric up over her curves. She toyed a moment with the rouching at the side, tying it off to bear a tempting glimpse of thigh. All that was left was pulling on a pair of black, strappy heels and lifting the black clutch she'd filled with what she'd need from its resting place.

Obviously the walk to Anthony's wasn't that long, in a matter of moment's she stood just outside his door. The sun had set nearly an hour earlier, plenty of time for him to be up and moving about. Raising a hand, she knocked loudly, waiting for him to let her in.

That was the drawback to being immortal, one tended to be patient about some things. Of course, that also meant that time went between plotting with others. But, with the right people, that only made such situations that much more desirable. After all, the right moments and situations didn’t come around daily for people like them.

For his own part, Anthony was actually up long before the sun set in the horizon. The curtains in his condo were thick enough to hold the sunlight back, and he had a caterer that he had to look after. Far be it for him to make the woman think differently of him by sleeping away the whole afternoon, even if he wasn’t quite as attentive and quick as he would have been otherwise. But, in his four hundred something years, the ability to cook was not something he had really picked up. His idea of a ‘well prepared meal’ was quite different than most other creatures in existence.

With a little over an hour before the sun set, he retired to his own shower to get prepared for the evening. Even though his body didn’t react like everyone else’s, it was still something of a habit he had picked up in order to fit in amongst them better. His hair would still be wet, and slicked back when she arrived, though it would seem that was the intention of the look. His clothing would be casual, but something quite fitting the wealth that the caterer would see in him. Black jacket, black slacks, white shirt, but no tie on him this evening.

At the knock of the door, he would glance back toward the woman he had cooking, and nod his head. In the fluent Italian of his birth, he would thank her for her services, and then dismiss her, asking her to let the young woman at the door into the condo. Which meant the first person that Slade would see would be a middle aged Italian woman, who politely would invite her into the condo before taking her own leave. The second thing would be the scent of an actual traditional home cooked Italian meal wafting from the kitchen area as Tony stepped out into the open.

When he looked her over, the vampire would give her a wide smile, even revealing those fangs before he inclined his head once. “I knew that would look lovely on you. I’d give you a tour, but I figure you already took that when you tied that tasty morsel to my bed all those weeks ago.”

The smell truly was heavenly and Slade could only assume that the elderly woman who let her in was to be credited for it. Anthony hadn't had cause to cook for several years now, if he ever had, and she hadn't truly expected for him to be the one putting together her meal for the night. The woman who let her in seemed to have taken her leave shortly after, though the pause before Tony emerged was only momentary at best.

In spite of her nature, the smile that graced her lips was icy at best - it was a foreign gesture for her anyway. Tony was a friend old enough to be graced with what little she could offer in such a way, humoring him with a brief twirl. He should, after all, take in the full picture. She did so in a taunting way, one that showed that she did it as a joke and nothing more. "A tour won't be needed," she assured him, that little smirk turning a bit more knowing. "I trust that you thoroughly enjoyed that little treat that I left you?"

Of course he had - she'd so carefully selected it just for him. Beautiful, waif-like, all seemingly innocent but with a taste for a few of the darker pleasures.....at least, as many that could be enjoyed before that weak spine of humanity snapped and she became unable to bear anymore. Surely then he had discarded of her appropriately. "It smells delicious in here," she complimented, allowing that much graciousness for the moment, "though I'll admit I found the plotting you hinted at even more tempting than the promise of dinner."

“Thoroughly. Pity mortals are so weak these days, she only lasted a couple of days before she could take no more.” But then, few people could remain conscious long with the amount of blood that Tony had indulged in that afternoon. “But I do believe she put her best foot, or so the saying is, forward in the attempt.” He was all grin at that before he motioned toward the kitchen.

“I’m sure she’s not quite enjoying her new career as much as she had hoped.” He hadn’t killed the girl, but she would never been seen by anyone who knew her ever again. That much he had made certain of. As he walked into the kitchen, he grinned as he glanced back toward her. “Eleanor is a fantastic cook, though with what she charges me, she had better be.”

He would even offer to pull out the chair for Slade, before he moved to slide into his own across from her. “True, being nefarious is far more appetizing then these mere morsels, but such plotting is always better over a well cooked meal.” He leaned forward on the table as he smiled at her, “How’s business? Any new toys I might find an interest in? Or are you still tormenting all the little boys you work with?”

"Only a few days? And here I had hoped for more. She seemed so....spirited," Slade quipped, moving to follow him as he lead the way back towards the kitchen. The smell only grew stronger, richer as they neared the source, her stomach nearly growling it's approval. How long had it been since she'd eaten? Probably that morning...a bagel or some such nonsense on her way into the office - it made whatever was cooking in his kitchen even more tempting. "And how precisely did you dispose of her?" She was curious and he was being cryptic, a mix that lead her to question him.

Slade followed him in, lowered herself into the seat he went so far as to pull out for her and crossed one slender leg over the other. Her napkin came to rest in her lap a moment later, guarding that ridiculously miniscule dress from any unwanted remnants of dinner. "Plotting with you has always been particularly satisfying, as well," she smirked, reaching to take a sip of the wine that sat before her, "you do make such a good partner at ripping apart innocent lives." And how she enjoyed that about him.

"Business is....productive as always," she admitted, though her bank account would show far more than she would ever tell. She was doing quite well financially, securing a nest egg that should make the next move - should she choose to migrate again - even easier than this previous time. "Sadly, I've yet to meet a toy worthy of your time, but I'll be sure to alert you if I do. As for the little boys I torment....well, I think we all know they secretly like it. Sort of that whole dominatrix fantasy you men seem to have."

The meal itself would seem to be a traditional Italian dinner. Pasta, meatballs, sauce that had that hand-cooked look to it, the whole nine yards. The cook, it would seem, would have had to have spent the whole day working on the dinner. And its taste would likewise be just as good as the smell. Eleanor was worth her weight in gold in the kitchen.

“Three or four, I do not remember exactly. She surprised me lasting that long given how frail she looked, but mortals can be so surprising at times.” Tony just grinned as he took a sip from his own wine glass and leaned back against his seat. “She’s making someone a good pet in the Balkans I believe. I think that is where Sergio said he had a buyer for someone with her particular looks. Distasteful business, but one with its uses from time to time.”

“That is good to hear. Productive business always makes for less stressful days.” Another sip from his wine as he regarded her, before he chuckled a little. “You should indulge in the boys more often, my dear. You might enjoy life more often. But yes, do, if you find another little morsel I would enjoy, do send her along. Sometimes its hard to get enough variety in ones meals.” Especially when that meal was blood from the living. “Dominatrix fantasy… you wish.” He said with a laugh and a shake of his head. No, he rather enjoyed being the dominate one in his life, he had been the submissive for far too long.

“I think you would like the little plot my friend and I had planned.”

Dinner was even more delicious than it had smelled - the effort Anthony's house woman had put into it was undeniable. Had she remained, Slade might have even gone so far as to compliment her efforts, though that seemed a far-fetched outcome as far as the demoness was concerned. Clearly everything had been hand made, had required a great deal of effort before it was ever served up. Honestly, she hadn't expected anything but the best from Anthony, even in something as simple as a meal.

"She was rather striking looking." All that pale skin up against the vibrant red of her hair....the little toy had been quite fetching - it was what had made Slade select her in the first place. She was glad to hear that she'd held out for a few days at least, even if the time frame never seemed as long as one could hope for. "I assumed you hadn't drained her. It would be such a waste of all that lovely flesh." Shipping her off to the Balkans might not have been the choice the girl would have made for herself, but it truly was the best way to rid oneself of a no longer wanted pet.

Slade's business was rarely anything but productive. If one thought she was icy in everyday run-ins, seeing her in action at work would have easily iced their veins. She took no prisoners, stopped at nothing to get what she wanted - all admirable qualities, she was sure. "The little boys I work with are so pithy....humans mainly, no challenge there. Perhaps if something more interesting came along, I'd be more inclined to play. For now, they simply bore me." She made a note to keep an eye out on any potential future playmates for her dinner companion - what was a little hunting between friends, after all? "Aw, no longer of fan of submission? So many of your gender are...." she teased him, full lips curling into a playful smirk.

"I think you should tell me more about this plot...."

The cook knew all she needed to know about her talents and such from Anthony. With those that served him well, he was rather forthcoming and generous. Though, he suspected the fact that a meal for him earned her as much as a month’s income at her regular job would told her all she needed to know about what he thought.

“No, I didn’t drain her completely. Damn close.” Anthony grinned a bit as he took a sip of his wine. The meal was good, as was the wine, but they were never going to soothe his own hunger for the evening. “I think she wanted me to turn her… which I was tempted to do.. but I’ve enough wayward children running around at the moment. No, she is some crime lord’s little plaything. Or his men’s. If they haven’t completely broken her spirit by now.”

“I had a woman lord over me for nearly fifty years. I have little interest to do that again.” He hadn’t seen his sire since those last nights, though even he wasn’t sure if she was dead or not. “You can find a challenge in anything, Slade, just gotta work the numbers right. I’m sure even you would enjoy ruining lives if it wasn’t completely difficult.”

He then tilted his head slightly as he regarded her. “An associate of mine has taken interest in a little human woman. Don’t ask me why, I didn’t think I could stomach that detail. But, her wayward husband has decided to return… and he turned out to be a baby vampire. Now my friend… wants him to be framed and his wife disgusted by what he is… figured if she saw him feeding on someone…”

"Didn't want to add to your little brood?" Slade teased from across the table as he mentioned the little plaything she'd left him longing to be turn. "Or should I simply refer to them as your harem now?" He did seem to be collecting them quite easily, didn't he? Not that she truly cared, but it seemed an opportune moment to tease him just slightly. After all, if he was going to turn out to the be the Mia Farrow of the vamp world, she wanted to get her taunts in ahead of time. Besides, what would dinner with Anthony be if they were both perfectly well behaved? Boring, she mused, it would be very very dull indeed.

"There is little challenge in toying with humans, unless you're referring to somehow keeping them alive to play with once they've reached their pain threshold." She truly had little use for the peons that populated Seattle. In fact, she tolerated them more because she had to then because she chose to. They really were weak little things amongst a city filled with more than a handful of beings who out-measured them in every way. "Surely you aren't trying to convince me that toying with some pithy little human man could ever be as fun as playing with you?" she arched a dark brow, lips curling into a smirk as she lifted her wine glass again. "Ruining lives is one of the few things that makes an extended lifespan so enjoyable. Especially when they don't see it coming." Being blindsided by a brilliant plan to wreck you had to be devastating, though truly endlessly entertaining for Slade.

"Feeding on someone..." she mused, wine glass in one hand, the dark liquid swirling lightly in her grip. "And are we sure this little human woman isn't the sort to love dear hubby through just anything?" It would be a sad waste of a brilliant plan if the pesky mortals were the type to stick together through the tough times and all that. "I suppose you're taking volunteers for the role of tempting snack?"

“Mortals are dangerous to keep around, especially after they learn what you are.” Anthony just chuckled a bit at that before he shook his head. “No, I don’t like to keep around too many pets unless they prove useful in something other than bed. Far be it for most youngsters to realize… but sex tends to lose its appeal as anything other than a diversion… after a hundred years.” But, it was still good for controlling some people. Very good at that.

“Like you’ve ever really played with me, young one.” He said with a smirk as he took another sip from his drink, and tilted his head slightly. “I almost look forward to the day when you do try to challenge me on some arena. It should be… entertaining.” Half of those he considered friends, he vied against on some arena or challenge. Nothing truly life threatening or changing, but it always something that would at least irk the pride a little. “Though, no, I doubt any of them would be quite the challenge in the long term than someone like me.” He winked at her.

He then laughed a bit and shrugged his shoulders. “She was in love with him at the very least. And would seem to accept him for what he is, so the actual reaction is something of a mystery. Daren believes she will run in fear… but I do not know. Love is always a tricky emotion. Sometimes one fights when they shouldn’t, or runs when they should fight because of it. But it is his plot, and his manipulations who will suffer if he is wrong, I am merely the Fixer in this case. Finding him suitable women to pull this off.”

“And demons do tend to bleed so much more visibly than vampires do. Plus, with him so young.. I suspect you would be able to deal with him should he truly lose control.”

Dangerous? Well, she supposed - mortals did tend to have big mouths, after all....especially when it came to things they didn't understand. She preferred not to play with them for that precise reason. Controlling your existence was key and tossing in such a volatile unknown was rarely smart. "Doesn't everything start to lose it's appeal after a lifetime or two?" she quipped. She hadn't been around as long as Anthony and already she'd grown bored with certain aspects of life that humans still treasured so completely. Silly little things.

"Is it that you truly want me to give you a challenge or that you simply prefer more of my company?" Slade teased, a cruel little smirk tugging at the edges of her lips. She might not have had the age that he did, but she could easily give him a run for his money - she was a woman after all and a devious one at that. She could be quite the little handful if she chose to be. It was true, though, a human would never compare to the challenge provided by someone with a bit more time on their hands. "Humans become tedious so quickly, it's true."

Perhaps the only time humans were even slightly interesting was when they were in love - it made them so unpredictable, so careless and quick to rush into things. "A suitable woman, hmm?" a dark brow lofted just slightly - that's what this proposal was, then. Playing bait had never been a favored role of Slade's, but it did occasionally have it's benefits...you were usually front row for the big finale, after all. "And just how many candidates have you managed to come up with so far?"

Slade chuckled lightly at the mention of how easily her kind bled. "Isn't that why you tend to like us, Anthony? The warmth and the blood..." Demons had the best traits of humans, as far as she was concerned, without any of those pesky side effects. After all, she knew how tempting the heat her skin gave off could be, especially to vampire's who rarely ever knew the experience for themselves anymore. Of course, it could also be hazardous to their health...though she supposed that too was part of the appeal of it all.

Mortals were always a danger to vampires. Only the most foolish forgot what could happen in regards to those who operated unhindered in daylight. Not to mention access to flamethrowers. “Depends on how you indulge in it. Most reveal in things. Moderation is the key.” Tony just grinned a bit as he took a bite of the food in front of him. “And variety. Otherwise, boredom steps in, and that’s never a good thing.”

“You’ll just have to figure that one out for yourself, Slade. More fun that way.” Those who believed women were more dangerous than men were always amusing to him. Of course, most of them were women who believed that. “And yes, they become quite tedious after a time. Year or two… at most. Anything more than that… and they lack imagination.”

“Suitable.” He said with a nod of his head. “It is believed that our little vampire is too loyal to his blushing bride that mere lust won’t seduce him. The temptation of the flesh is something he’d most likely be able to resist… but nice tasty blood… that is something no vampire can truly resist. Especially the flavor that some demons have…”

He then laughed again as he leaned forward, and rested his chin on folded hands as he smiled at her. “Yes, so warm… and spicey. With this little tang…” He then made mmmm sounds as if he was remembering just such a taste. “But then again… we don’t want things to get too warm.. now do we?” He winked once at her as he said that.

Boredom was definitely something Slade lacked a fondness for. Of course, one could easily remedy such a situation by simply creating activity for themselves...whatever that might be. Though she'd just recently returned from a lengthy business trip, it wouldn't be long before her attention span gave out. Perhaps this little plot Tony was assisting with would be just the thing to spice up a bit of her time in Seattle.

"You're not as complicated as you'd like to think," she assured him. Those who believed women weren't more dangerous than men were simply overlooking the obvious - men ruled with brute force, but women were master manipulators. What was better than getting what you want, but making someone else do all the work? Silly men....they'd realize one day.

"And what sort of benefit could this suitable female expect in return for her performance and the fall out that might come in the aftermath? I hope you're not looking for someone to do this out of the goodness of their heart," she teased. No, there would have to be some sort of enticement for her to take on a such a role, for any successful woman to get involved in such a plot.

"I promise night to roast his little vampy butt, if that's what you're worried about," she assured him with a sickening sweet smile. She could play by the rules, surely....if the motivation was good enough.

“I never claimed to be complicated.” Anthony said with a laugh and a shake of his head as he leaned back. He brought his wineglass up to his lips again as he sipped from the liquid within and he smiled at the young demon across from him. “I’ve tried complex, it takes too much effort to pull off fully.”

“They would gain my gratitude.” Tony said as he tilted his head ever so slightly, and regarded her. “It will earn me a favor from an older Demon, and will in turn have me owe the person who does this.” Even if Daren was younger than Tony was, demons had their own powers and benefits. “I’m sure someone of your... public statue would be able to earn even more from said demon. I already told him I’d make him pay me back more if my childer did it. I can get the same for you, of course.”

He laughed at her last words, before he merely shrugged his shoulders. “I know Daren would prefer he not be killed. Death is too easy. Be so much more fun just to ruin and destroy his mortal life and watch him wallow in self pity and remorse. The young ones are always so pathetic when they try to reclaim their former lives. While he means nothing to me, it would be enjoyable just to watch their lives self destruct because they cannot control their own impulses.”

"Perhaps you should consider sharing that little bit of knowledge with some of the humans in this city. Their attempts at complexity are really quite sad to watch," Slade teased, that wicked little smirk of her curling up the corners of her mouth. She truly wasn't a fan of the 'weaker race' and made no attempts to hide such emotions unless it served to benefit her in any given situation. Here, now, with Anthony....well, it was easy to be quite open with her dislikes.

"Gratitude is worth very little in today's day and age, though favors - when guaranteed - can be worth quite a lot." Especially when said favors came from older, more powerful demons....ones with obvious connections to a whole little ring of less-than-legal residents of their fine city. It was enough to tempt Slade into considering their little plot, that was for sure. "You do present some compelling temptation, I'll admit."

"Oh yes, poor things, they simply can't accept the monster they've become," she added with a scoffing role of her eyes. If only they'd embrace the new version of themselves they could realize their true potential, their true abilities instead of wasting them in lame attempts to reconcile themselves to the weaker beings around them. It was pathetic, really.

“What you call sad, I think of as quite entertaining.” Anthony said with a laugh as he leaned back in his seat, twirling his glass around in his hand as he watched the demoness. “Especially those that fancy themselves corruptors. Amateurs, the lot of them.” He smirked a bit before he winked once at her. “Don’t underestimate them, most of us were what they are once upon a time.”

“When has anything I’ve ever mentioned not been guaranteed, Slade? I should be insulted you’d even mention such a thing.” Tony snorted and shook his head a bit. “But, this one knows better than to cross or make me look bad. We have known each other longer than you’ve been alive.” He smirked at her a bit more. “Though, you are wrong, my dear. Gratitude can often be worth a great deal with the right category of people.”

“It’s different changing into something, than being born. It wasn’t easy for me to adjust either, but those that try to hold onto their old lives are quite pathetic.” Tony shook his head a bit as he took another sip. “And those who try to return to their mortal lovers… always end in tragedy. Sooner or later, the vampire kills them.”

"We obviously have far different opinions of entertainment." The humans that populated the city around them were sad, sorry little creatures just crawling around thinking they ran the show. If only they knew just how wrong they truly were - who could blame Slade if perhaps she wanted to show them every once in awhile? Just wanted to remind them of who exactly was the weak one? "And some of us were never that pathetic," she teased, but with an edge - she might have been joking in that moment, but there was still a thread of truth that ran through her words. She wasn't a fan of humans and, unless it would benefit her, she made no move to hide it.

She nearly laughed, an amused little smile spreading over her lips. "Right, because you simply are just that trustworthy. How dare I doubt you. Next thing you'll be telling me you've been perfectly well behaved since you arrived, done nothing to be frowned upon." In which case she'd have to call him boring outright. Rules were meant to be bent, at the very least. Thankfully, that seemed to be a thought process they had in common. "Gratitude is too easily forgotten for my tastes." She wasn't one to trust on a whim and, in such an exchange, anything but concrete terms often demanded that. Slade preferred to keep things as impersonal, as cut and dry as possible.

"He should be thankful for what he's become truly. Usually those saps realize that what they are now can better protect that family they claim to hold so dear," this wasn't the first time she'd heard a similar story, after all. And contrary to what was probably popular belief, Slade didn't hate everyone - why, she even had a friend or two. Shocking. "There have been quite a few interesting tales of the lover doing away with their new immortal beloved as well." Either way, it was bound to be a melodrama worth watching play out.

“We always will have I suspect as well.” Anthony said with a shake of his head as he leaned forward again and set his glass on the table and watched Slade for a moment. “Yes, some of us never were. I was never quite as human as many of these, always having been gifted one could say.” He was never all that fond of most of humanity either, but he found his own ways of entertainment in their lives. It amused him, after all, when they sought control they never had.

“I never claimed to be trustworthy, Slade, and you know that quite well.” Tony said with a snort as he tilted his head and regarded her for another moment. “Though, I do have a reputation to speak of… and favors in our world are a currency nobody intelligent will renege on. I’ve never gone back on my word those times I’ve given it to you, now have I? You can trust that those I say will… will, they would not wish to upset me by making me look the fool after all.” He made it a living after all, knowing who to trust and who not to. And making sure that people who needed those that could be trusted found them.

“He should be.. but it’ll likely be some years before he is. You know how foolish mortals are.. so few of them ever accept what is for the best without fighting against it. But then, that is what makes their failures so entertaining. Though, if you do manage to pull it off… I’m sure that would be a video worth watching a few times…” Tony winked once at her as he picked up his almost empty wine glass once again. “Definitely a few times."

"I suppose so, though there are things we both find equally amusing as well," Slade pointed out with the slightest of smirks. Many of those shared interests seemed to involve toying with humanity, manipulating it's weak little participants in whatever ways they could. Wasn't that what he was offering her with this latest scheme? "I'll admit that I'm intrigued by this plot you've hatched." She leaned forward this time, that glint of something ornery in her icy gaze, "Tell me, in greater detail, exactly what you've planned out. I may be even more moved to agree to offer my assistance." She could afford to take a night or two off, especially with such good reason.

"You've always kept your word to me, yes," she nodded, "but I know others who have not been so lucky. Of course, you've outsmarted them and we both know attempting to do that in this case might prove hazardous to your health." Or at least his appearance...she could certainly singe a few important parts, that might teach him something. Though Tony really wasn't one that she worried about giving her cause to do such things, they'd always worked so well together on projects like this. They took manipulation very seriously after all.

"We both know you'd watch any video in which I played a starring role over and over," she teased in a rare bout of playfulness. They did work so well together, she could even admit that. Why not give it another go? "You're coming very close to convincing me," she informed him after a moment.

The latest scheme was more against one particular vampire, though it was one that was still trying to act human rather than what he now was. Which, of course, was sometimes all the more fun because of it. “Oh, I’m sure there are plenty of things we both enjoy.” Manipulating people was one, of course. The teasing was something as well. They both did enjoy a good bantering. He reached over toward the wine glass and refilled his own glass, before he made an offer to fill hers as well.

“I always keep my word. To whoever and whenever I give it… those that aren’t so lucky… should have paid more attention to whether or not I actually gave my word.. or just told them to do something.” Anthony winked once at her as he then reached for his glass as he took another sip. “Words mean everything after all.” He said in a most amused tone.

When her tone changed, Tony gave a laugh and shrugged his shoulders. “Maybe I’d rather make such a video than just watch it…” he teased back, as he leaned forward. His glass was set down, and he folded his hands under his chin as he watched her. “I’ve told you just about all the plans for this particular scheme.. you know as well as I that something like this can’t be overly planned…” he said softly. “But, I’d make available whatever hotel room you would need, already hooked up for video making. I’m sure we can come up with a suitable identity for you as well. But, the essential plan is…”

“The plan is for little Mr. Vampire to be caught on tape feeding from someone. Perferrably as much in blood lust as possible so that he freaks the hell out of his little human cow and makes her run into the waiting arms of Mr. Demon. Seducing him physically is a bonus, but not necessary, the feeding is what we want the most.”

Tony offered to refill her glass and Slade nodded lightly in acceptance, her attention totally on this very important conversation laid out before them. She was understandably taken in by the details, her interest latching on to the wickedness before them. What girl didn't love causing a bit of trouble? Especially if it put powerful, connected men in your debt - always something Slade found useful. She raised her refreshed glass to her lips, took a thoughtful sip as if she were weighing her options. Committing to such a scheme could affect her business, after all, the financial well-being that she'd given herself. Of course, it might also allow her to spin it into quite the sentimental money maker.

"You'll keep your word to me or I'll singe off much more than your eyebrows," she taunted playfully. They'd never had an issue in the past with similar arrangements and while Slade would never say she trusted anyone, she knew that there were certain aspects of the relationship between the two that were mutually beneficial. Matters such at this one at hand, for example. After all, the warmth of her flesh could be so much more tempting that the icy chill of his childe's.

"I'm sure you dream about making such a tape." Of course, it seemed that would remain an instrument of banter and nothing else. Slade very rarely indulged someone in such a way. "I think you may have almost convinced me to agree to your little plot," she informed him, taking another brief sip from her wineglass. "How soon is it that this friend of yours wants his plan put into motion?" Timelines were key to things as delicate as this.

Tony wasn’t at all a trustable person, aside from those few times he put his own reputation on the line. There were some things, after all, that he needed to be known as reliable on. Otherwise, his whole little empire would come crashing down around his head. It would be no good to be an influence peddler, if people didn’t trust the influence you were pushing after all. So there was some things he needed to make good on. Luckily for Slade, this would be one of them.

“I should point out the advanced firefighting system in here.” He teased back even as he winked at her. Another sip was taken from his wineglass, even as he leaned back in his seat. “But if you do this, you know I’m good for it, babe. Even if I have to skin his ass for you. Which just might be fun to do anyway.”

“Oh, I don’t know if dream is the proper word for it, my dear lovely demoness. I suspect that you get quite warm when you really get going… and I like being un-singed.” Tony just grinned at her as he tilted his head slightly. “Though, I do know a few people who would love to take that risk anyway with someone as lovely as you are. But I think I’ll settle for the voyeur bit, and the occasional taste of that spicy nectar of yours.”

Slade trusted no one, especially not someone of Tony's background, but she also didn't think him foolish enough to unnecessarily piss someone off. She might have been much younger than him, but that didn't mean she still wasn't capable of inflicting some damage, should the need to do so arise. Besides, he seemed to enjoy his little position of power he was building in the city to rock the boat too much.

He would have an advanced firefighting system - that alone made her smile in amusement. She wasn't in the least bit surprised by that little piece of information. "Now, Tony, you know I'd much prefer to skin him myself. Though I'm sure there's more than enough for the both of us."

"I suppose you'll find out just how warm I get, should this little plan of yours go do down ideally," she quipped with a slight smirk. It seemed that a rather large number of vamps were tempted by the warmth she gave off, forgoing any thoughts of danger to try and seek out more of it. "You have no idea just how tasty I am," she assured him with a wink.

While rocking the boat was often times fun, there were times and situations where it really hurt more than it helped. Setting up jobs like this, was one of them. “Oh, if you do try to skin him, be sure to get that on camera.. I’m sure it’ll do his little mortal girl some good to know that he can have parts ripped off him and still live” Most mortals had bad reactions to seeing just how much damage even a young vampire can take.

“Oh, I look forward to that… just remember not to get.. too hot, my dear. We want him in hot water, not an urn full of ashes.” Though, that might be funny. Tony could just see it now, the poor vampire bursting into flames and turning into ash in the middle of sex. It was an image that made him laugh, and remember just why he had no intention of ever seducing the little fire demon.

Of course, seduction didn’t cover all things, though. “Oh, I’m sure I don’t.. though, some flavors I’m always willing to put a little risk in for.. especially if its as good as you’re hinting.” Tony said with a grin before he made a hand motion toward the table. “This was all for you, after all. This really does nothing for me anymore.” He tilted his head as he let his eyes drop down to Slade’s neck, before his gaze returned to her eyes.

"Don't worry," she eyed him playfully over the rim of her wineglass, paused in mid-raise to her lips, "I have complete control over just how warm I can get." She had no intention of ashing this little vamp they were out to get, accidentally or otherwise. Besides, they always made such a mess - who wanted to have to clean that up? But giving a safe little boost to your natural body heat didn't present any risks. In fact, it seemed to tempt the otherwise chilly creatures more than anything else, something that usually worked to her advantage.

"No, I suppose this doesn't," Slade eyed the table before them for a moment, leaning forward to return her wineglass to it's resting place. "It was quite delicious though, my compliments to your chef." It was obvious where his gaze dropped, perhaps lingered for a moment on the gentle pulse that throbbed just below the skin of that graceful neck. "Perhaps next time, I'll have to invite you over for the meal," she teased, finger tips dropping to run lightly over at pulse point at her throat. Was she as tasty as she played at? Of course. Who didn't enjoy a little spice with their blood every now and then?

"So what more will I need to know about this little vampire you're all out to get. Given what you've told me, I can assume I'm not his type as is. I suppose I'll have to play at being something far more....delicate." Oh joy.

“Well, that’s nice to know. Always nice to know a woman who can get hot at the drop of a dime. Most women, it takes far too much effort to raise their tempature a degree or two.” Tony says with a chuckle of his own. He wrinkled his nose at her, almost as if his thoughts were along hers. He could just imagine how much fun it would be to get someone’s ashes out of your hair. Not to mention the fun that would be had, if one was involved in.. other activities at the itme.

His gaze dropped down to follow her fingers, as he smirked at her a bit. Woman was a tease, there was no doubt about that. So, Tony leaned forward, and folded his hands under his chin as he smiled at her. “Would it be a multi course meal?” he asked, and he sounded amused at the thought. She had, after all, already left him a rather tasty meal. Even if, at that moment, it wasn’t the type of meal he was looking forward to. Mortals were nice and tasty most of the time, but as often as not, demons tasted so much better. The lifeforce of the immortal creatures that flowed through their blood ensured that.

“For specific details like that, you’d need to talk to Daren. I can find out for you as well, but he knows the target far better than I. I’m merely the fixer in this regard, getting people together for him. He is the one who knows everything about this particular target. But, if I understand hints and subtle comments, you’ll be too exotic for him. He’s got a nice simple housewife, who’s likely cute, rather than a babe. But I may be wrong there.”

"Snap of the fingers and I can have this whole room nice and toasty," she teased him with a little wink. Getting hot she could most definitely too...in fact, she could make just about anyone else around her get hot as well. And there was the whole fire bit, too. Oh, wait, he was talking about that, wasn't he? Naughty naughty demoness, just how he liked them.

She could nearly feel his fingers tracing down the path her fingers traced against that temptingly toasty skin of hers. Slade watched him lean forward, the banter between them zinging back and forth quite easily tonight. Oh the fun they always had. "It might just be," she tempted, dark brows arching just slightly. She could most definitely make him an offer he couldn't refuse - and, if he did, he'd spend the rest of eternity kicking himself for it. "Maybe I'll even let you have a taste sometime..." Yummy.

"Perhaps you'd like to set up one of these little meetings with this Daren, then? It might do us all well to sit down and discuss this, particularly if I agree to take on your little....plot." Surely Daren would want to see her in person as well, given that he was trusting the brunt of his plan to a virtual stranger. "Alright, I'll make a note to try and tone down the irresistibility."

“I’ll have to remember to invite you over when winter returns, and we start getting those real cold nights again.” Tony said with a smirk and a tilt of his head. Was always nice to have a walking home heater in the building, after all. Though, he knew that wasn’t what she meant.

Yes, there was a reason why he liked this particular demon, despite the danger inherent in their pairing. “Oh, some tastes are just worth waiting for, are they not?” he asked as he then leaned back again, though his eyes followed that finger for a moment still before they turned up to her gaze once more. Whether or not it would be something he would regret, though, would always be dependent on just what was ‘asked for’ in return.

“I’ll get a hold of him, and let you know when he wants to meet. I’m sure he would wish to meet you anyway. Can never know too many demons in a boring city like this after all.” In truth, he was trusting his plan to Anthony’s judgment, which wasn’t always the best of plans, but it usually worked in his favor. “And yes, dear, try not to be so irresistible.. you scare away all the good prey.”

"Perhaps I'll consider warming your nights then," she teased, raising her wineglass to finish off the contents that lingered inside. She could have easily stayed and traded such banter with Tony all night, but work awaited her back in her penthouse and she was sure he had plenty to be up to as well - though whether it was work or not could probably be left open to interpretation.

"Well, dinner was delicious," she complimented again, lifting her napkin from her lap to set it to rest atop the table. "Be sure and truly give my compliments to your chef - she's money well spent." Sliding her chair back away from the table, Slade stood with a wicked little grin. "Let me know what you and Daren arrange. I'm sure I can find time to fit the two of you into my schedule."

Besides, now she'd probably need to do a little investigating on her own, see what she could find out about this Daren before they met face to face. A woman had to be well prepared for such shady business, after all. "And do keep me in mind with anymore interesting opportunities that come up..." she smirked, pausing at the door to say goodnight.

“Oh, I’m sure I’d be quite honored if you did come by to warm up my nights a little.” Tony said as he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest. He just grinned at her even as she got up to leave. “And I’ll be sure to let the cook know her meal was enjoyed. She always does love hearing the juicy details of my evenings.” He winked once at that before he rose to his feet and linked his hands behind his back.

“I will get in touch with Daren and let him know you’re interested in meeting with him on this. I’m sure he’d be quite intrigued to meet you as well.” It was what he did these days. Introductions between people in need and those who would fulfill the need. Plus, he suspected, this one introduction would go for some time. It was always an added benefit when matching up immortals.

“Until next time, my dear. And hopefully then, I might be able to get you to wear something more revealing.” He teased, even as he gave her a very wide smile. “Even if it pleases me to no end that the dress did look that lovely on you. Good night, Slade.”

"I'm sure you have more than enough juicy evenings to give her the details of, as well." Slade had no doubt that Tony wasn't sitting on his hands waiting for entertainment to knock on his door. Oh no, they were both far too industrious for that. Sometimes the best part of a little mischief was coming up with it yourself, seeking it out, setting into motion a plot that would be the undoing of that innocent prey you'd spied.

"I'd be very interested to meet with this Daren, to discuss the plot the two of you have planned in more detail. You know how to reach me when a meeting time is selected." She'd survived too long to just sign on to something without meeting the minds behind it...even if it was a most delicious plot.

She moved to the door, pausing to say her good-byes. One had to be respectful, after all. "Something tells me that nothing short of nude is revealing enough for you," she teased, leaning in to brush a kiss to each of Tony's cheeks. "Goodnight. Try not to cause too much trouble without me." She smirked playfully, then turned to disappear down the hall. Oh, the fun cooked up tonight...
