Week Seven: Friday
When: Night
Where: Admiral Theater
Who: Prissy and Sophie - Narrative maybe

“Here puppy puppy….” Priscilla cooed into the shadows of an alleyway near the Towers. She could hear the wounded little werewolf growling and snarling in the darkness, she could envision the way that blood dripped from his muzzle and the bright red that had to be staining his pretty fur now. She’d seen the fight, quick event that it was…and had followed this little puppy to his hole where he was trying now to lick his wounds. How many humans would realize what those howls were tonight? How many would figure out that the dog seen racing by wasn’t just some ordinary dog….

“Aww is there a wounded dog in there? I’m a vet…” the words were sickly sweet near to Prissy’s ear. She smirked, she couldn’t help it. The human had walked right into this. Prissy turned, doe like eyes glossy with tears threatening to be shed. “I think he’s really hurt…” she pouted, glancing quickly back into the darkened alleyway with frantic urgency. “Is he yours?” the woman questioned and Prissy shook her head “No, but I feed him sometimes. He’s a stray I think.” She sounded so genuinely concerned and very afraid. She couldn’t let the poor puppy sit there in the dark all alone could she? He needed some company….

“Don’t worry; I’ll take a look at him okay?” The older woman moved Prissy off to the side, giving her a pat on the back in that comforting gesture that all would be okay. Prissy sniffled and nodded her head. Her amused little smile for now buried back under a false guise of tormented worry. Slowly the woman moved into the alleyway…were the hairs on the back of her neck standing up? Could she started to feel that doubt eating away at her gut….

She didn’t have time to listen to her instincts and turn back. No soon her soothing words to the dog unseen turned to a short lived scream. A harsh sound cut off as sharp teeth clamped down over the woman’s throat, crushing it. Priscilla giggled, peeking around the corner to witness the fresh wash of blood that splattered to the wall in a decorative display. “Now don’t you feel better?” she questioned, arching a brow with that smirk now holding her lips. All she got for answer was a muffled growl. He was too busy enjoying his new found meal.

With a laugh Prissy turned away, continuing to make her way down the street. Normally she could have been driven right to the theater…normally she would have taken up that eager driver of daddy’s on the offer. But tonight Prissy wanted to be out and walking the streets. She wanted to smell the blood in the air and hear those cute noises from dark corners where the werecreatures hid away. How many would die tonight? How many would be reborn?

By the time she’d made her way to the theater there were at least two dead that she knew of….well the last one might have survived. Prissy didn’t stay to watch, she just smelled the blood as she passed by the park. But as fun as tonight was just for that sort of show…Prissy had a different kind to get herself focused on. She had a cute little teenage girl to corrupt and play like a puppet. Her and her band mates. Not a difficult task for Prissy, not at all. In fact she was rather looking forward to it. They all made such pretty dolls. She just had to pull a few strings…

Once to the theater Prissy stood out front, leaning her back against the wall and putting a cigarette to her lips before pulling out her phone to give Sophie a text to let the girl know she was there. Of course if Sophie and the rest of the band were out front they’d likely notice the succubus right away. She always stood out a bit…tonight by stance as much as by persona.

The full moon and all night horror at the Admiral. What young adult wouldn’t love it? Okay, so maybe there were a lot of young girls that wouldn’t like it. Single young girls anyway. Most of the other females in the theater were glued to the side of some boy. Not Sophie. She was unattached. Just as she always had been. Sophie had no time for relationships. A bad idea on so many levels. Mostly was that risk of diseases and unplanned little scions.

She’d far rather be fully ensconced in an adult life with an adult paycheck before she got involved in any of that. Even if she did have a steady boy, and even if he could be relied upon to be around if she found herself “in the family way”, Sophie would so not want to ever have to depend on someone else. Not for money. Not for anything.

She’d been there since before dark, arriving early with the drummer and his googly eyed girlfriend (who actually was way cooler than the image she projected in the day time) to get good seats. Lisa (the drummer’s girl), had made brownies and snuck them in in her way too huge Prada bag. Coming early gave Sophie the rights to a few said brownies and while the others started piling in eventually, she took a few trips outside to smoke, though not all of those were her usual Indians. The others were some nice fat home-rolled. She’d just returned back from one such trip to find all their seats full but one when her phone vibrated. She looked at it and grinned. “Prissy.” She announced to the others. “I’ll go get her.”

A minute later, she was popping out the front door and lighting another cigarette. Every chance a good one since they couldn’t inside. Seeing her band’s manager, she waved at her and moved toward her. “Hey.”

Prissy knew the young girls type. Rebel against the man, stand on your own two feet, don't need anyone at all sort of attitude. She'd toyed with it plenty of times. Often the ones that announced to the world that they didn't need a damned person were the ones that really wanted someone and just didn't want to admit it. Prissy easily preyed on those insecurities in people. They were present in all. you just had to know how to find those strings and give them a little pull.

With this human she had to be...patient. Not Prissy's strong suit sometimes but this game wasn't one she wanted to mess up. Her daddy wanted her to get under this little girls skin and she planned to do just that. She already had an in after all. She'd managed to get the band some of the best gigs it had ever had. Lucky Prissy and her hook ups. She did it all for the band...

The game involved more then just Sophie though. If the rest of the band hated her then so too would Sophie. Was how those groups worked. But it wasn't difficult for her to get them all wrapped around her figures. A cool girl with a killer attitude and some great business sense that knew how to party and have a damn good time.

It was almost a shame that she was going to be so focused on only that little group tonight. The crowd that was forming was just begging for someone to take advantage. It would be so easy….

Even now she couldn’t help but have a little taste. Just a subtle pull…enough to know that there weren’t any older supernaturals in the crowd. At least not the one around her. Maybe they were all out watching the pretty animals tonight.

The instant Sophie made her way outside Prissy flashed her a bright grin. "Hey, shit it’s been way too long huh?" Prissy had been rather caught up lately. What with her finding her daddy and all. Sort of seemed more important then another teen band. “Sorry about that, got slammed with all sorts of stuff.” Prissy grinned a bit “Damn glad you texted though, needed a good escape for a night.” A light laugh as she crushed out her cigarette with a thick soled boot.

A glance was given around “So I take it that its way packed in there isn’t it?” were so many humans really that intrigued by the idea of a werewolf and the moon…if they only knew. It was cute in a way. The way they packed together tonight, not even realizing the threats out there.

The puppies eager to snap their necks and chew on their bones.

Type? Well it would irritate Sophie to know anyone generalized about her like that, much less that they thought long enough about her to feel the need to even do so. Though she could intellectualize the need to apply one’s own labels to others, even to pigeonhole them into pre-named slots… if only to better understand them. The oppositionist in her however, would forever argue against any such generalities, or lessening of human beings to nothing more than labels based on clothing, music preferences, or even behavior. Blame the establishment for that. Tell your little ones to be unique, then tell them to dress like everyone, to act like everyone else, to want the same things.

Of course, all of that was beside the point. And had nothing to do with Prissy, whose type Sophie could never hope to guess. She was who she was… so far different than anyone Sophie had ever met before. Far more interesting and intriguing then any of those vapid weaklings that worked for the public school system. Sophie really could not wait to get out and see more of the world.

Sophie tried not to speculate much on why the obviously talented and cunning manager had taken such an interest in them. The rest of the band, all guys, seemed to just take it for granted, assuming they really were that great. Okay, so they were good, but still young, still inexperienced, and not yet nearly as good as so many others in the city. Since hooking up with Prissy however, they’ve been getting primo gigs at the best venues in town, and on choice nights. It certainly all seemed very lucky, didn’t it? But Sophie didn’t much believe in luck, or any kind of superstition really. Still, she wasn’t about to look this gift horse in the mouth, and was more than happy to just ride the wave while it lasted, and milk it for all it was worth. Whatever Prissy wanted to do for them would be appreciated. Prissy, their guru. They’d listen to her no matter what she said, as long as it had nothing to do with changing their music, that was not open to compromise. Fortunately it didn’t look like she had any intention of doing so. Good thing… their music was about the only thing they took seriously.

“It’s all good. Sure you’ve got a life to live and all. I was kind of busy too.” She shrugged and left it at that. Excited as Sophie was about her dad, she just wasn’t the kind to get all bubbly announcing it to the world. And much as she liked Prissy, she didn’t feel close enough with her to be chatting it up about personal shit. Not that she was keeping anything secret either. It was just… professional life and private life, two separate entities. Though all of them in the band like Prissy well enough to include her in their shit, and work on blurring those lines a bit just as they tended to do with each other.

Like this movie night. All a way to chill, hang out, and generally have a good time without it having anything to do with “work”. Not that any one of them yet considered what they did to be “work”.

“Glad you could make it.” She smiled back. “Everyone’s inside, they’re all pretty stoked.” She nodded. “Yeah, and pretty sure the authorities are giving up on keeping the bad behavior down. Way too much anarchy for them to try to keep it down.”

There was something about everyone that related them to another. For one always on the hunt it was easy to distinguish the groups. The easy prey versus the weaker. The challenging versus the not so. Even Prissy knew she could be thrown into a group. It was the nature of the mind, a way to understand. The more someone rebelled against that the more they simply threw themselves into that sort of group. Funny wasn’t it? She always found the ones with such a love of anarchy to be rather amusing to watch. Such grand shows to rebel against the man…when often in other ways they were buddy buddy with him. It was all about perception. And Prissy knew how to play it so that this little group of misfits believed that she thought just like they did. Prissy was a fabulous actress.

That didn’t make her easy for them to all together understand though. But few of them were really willing to question something good coming along. Prissy was willing to work with club owners and get there gigs flowing. Doing that dirty work that bands themselves rarely enjoyed doing. For Prissy it was a piece of cake. She simply went in there and sold the band….a bit of charm, luck, and persuasive words helped in the matter. Why was she willing too? Well she gave some convincing story of a love for new bands and a desire to see more real music out there rather then the cookie cutter programmed shit that happened to all too often take the stage.

Obviously by that Prissy had no desire to change their music. She promoted that creative expression. With a bit of music talent on her side she was able to perhaps give a few opinions here and there but never seek to put her own spin on it. That just wasn’t Prissy’s way. They were the ones making the music; she was just selling it to the uptight owners that needed to open their minds a bit.

“Yeah I do, sometimes. Sort of funny that way.” She remarked with a grin curling her lips “But I hope not too busy. I’m working to get some more gigs lined up for all of you guys.” She hadn’t before really; she had her own fun to see to. But where it would normally take a manager a week of negotiations for something it tended to take Prissy only a day or two to get the details sorted out. She didn’t take no for an answer after all and she could be quite pushy. Not when it came to dear Sophie though. She let the girl have her distance. For now. Sophie was the sort you had to work on, getting her trust didn’t come over night. Prissy could be patient…play her cards the right away.

The rest of the band was far from a worry; they already thought she was a trusted friend and manager.

“Wouldn’t miss it, sounds like it will be a blast and I could use a night filled with laughing at wimpy chicks jumping and screaming at the screen.” Prissy wiggled her brows with a laugh. “Good, would be a mood killer to have them up in our faces every two seconds telling us to keep the noise down or whatever. Always funny how these things are put on then the second people have a good time they are looking it to squash it.” She rolled her eyes as she pushed away from the wall a bit.

It was true. Sophie was all about bucking the system. Fuck the man and all he stood for… with a few exceptions, of course. Like National Healthcare. Even if she knew it would be shitty healthcare, at least it would be something, and not the nothing that most had now. As far as she was concerned, the government could tax them enough to pave the roads, fix their broken bones, and then stay the hell out of their lives. Realistically she knew nothing was that simple, but she was still young, still learning, and knew that her views, political and otherwise, were ever evolving.

Sophie had been doing the job herself, but had breathed a sigh of relief when Prissy had taken notice and stepped in. Now Sophie could actually learn from the best rather than the old sink or swim method. This way was far better. And Sophie was definitely taking notes. Prissy was far more skilled than any of them could have hoped to be in getting them the best gigs.

Sophie laughed at her comment regarding wimpy girls. “Aw, their guys like it that way. Some probably aren’t nearly as wimpy as they pretend to be, I bet.” Just playing a role society laid out for them.

Her own cigarette extinguished shortly after Prissy’s, she moved to return inside. “Exactly. And I think everyone snuck something in to help pass the time.

Always the exceptions. That’s why no rebel was really a rebel at all when it came down to it. There was almost always something they wanted from that which they pushed against. That tug-o-war that kept life interesting if nothing else. Prissy couldn't blame her, the lemmings in the world didn't exactly seem appealing to a teen looking for some excitement. Push all she wanted, there would always be others to join up with that were doing the exact same thing. The troubles of the world or the "man" really weren't Prissy's concern, rare that they would ever be,

Supernaturals didn't quite play by the same rules. Or at the least...Prissy didn't. She played by her own.

Stepping in and being the breath of fresh air was a part of the game this time around. Taking on that troubling task of pushing the band and getting them out there. A tough job for a band that wanted to focus just on their music. It made Priscilla important, something they wouldn’t be quick to part with. Not that anyone really wanted to part with Prissy regardless, but she made sure to get more then just her foot in the door with all of them.

Plus she taught Sophie a thing or two, eager student that she could be. It gave them means to get...closer. Of course Prissy kept it all rather casual. Step by step. day by day.

"Ugh, then I hope they kick themselves all the way home for acting like they are scaredy little girls." Prissy of course was a firm believer in a strong woman. Not that she couldn’t play that delicate little flower role. And of course she loved it when men took care of her. But she didn’t need them to keep her safe; Prissy knew how to stand on her own two feet.

Priscilla laughed as they headed inside "Well I can add some more to that pile then." money wasn't a worry at all with her but that wasn't really the point now was it? She never advertised that she had more then a bit of cash when she was around them. Not poor but middle ground. Relatable.

Inside was just as packed as outside, Prissy used the chance to get close to the girl as they weaved through the crowds. Nothing too noticeable, just trying to get back into the theater and get to their seats after all. “Any idea what they are playing or just one great big surprise?” she spoke over the voices of others, shoving open the door to the more dimly lit theater area.

Lemmings looked dead. Dead in the eyes. Dead walking around in their designer uniforms, looking, talking, dressing, acting just like everybody else. They were dead without even living. Death didn’t scare the insurgent teen, but dying for someone else’s game sure as hell did. Dying without ever having lived scared the hell out of her. And should scare everyone.

Part of “living” for her, was learning all she could, experiencing all that life had to offer. Carpe Diem, Seize the Day, Grab life by the horns and don’t ever let go.

Sophie smirked and nodded her agreement, but nope, she really didn’t see that happening. After all, their fake little acts worked for what they wanted. They wanted a boy to protect them and hold them, and were willing even to subvert themselves to get it. Not Sophie’s style, but it seemed to be for most girls.

She arched her brows and grinned in Prissy’s direction when the other mentioned adding to the fun. Oh really? But she didn’t ask what, she’d find out soon enough. Anyway, besides Sophie wasn’t generally into anything harder than weed. She did like to be in control of herself, after all. Went along with that whole not wanting to be a weak girl thing.

“Oh yeah… ticket,” Spoken as Sophie dug the stub out of her pocket and handed it over. In fact, it was one of only about four that they’d purchased for the whole band. They all just kept swapping them out as they went out to smoke or… whatever.

“Most I’ve never seen before. Kind of old though, so they might be cheesy, which is fun itselp. Not sure of the exact order, but I think it was “The People Under the Stairs”, “Suspiria”, “Vampyros Lesbos”, “Beyond Re-Animator” (Shudder), “Eraserhead”, and “The Evil Dead”. Seems to be all over the map, really, no real theme or anything.

They arrived and the others voiced their welcome in less than hushed voices.

Lemmings were tools for those that did know how to live by their own rules. Little puppets that Priscilla had no trouble using to her advantage. She didn't feel sorry for them, or for any that she used as a toy. It was the way of the world, the strong and the weak. Not that it was just the easy little puppets that she used. No...Prissy did love a challenge from time to time. This little human might be that...sorta.

Different then the games she normally played but Priscilla had no doubt that she'd play it just as well. Letting down her daddy simply wasn't something she was going to let happen.

Prissy gave a wicked little grin when the other arched her brow to her remark. Prissy had all sorts of goodies stashed away. Though she knew what the cute little daughter was willing to take and what she wasn't. Observant, it helped always. A bit of weed. A bit of booze. And a bit more for the others eager to indulge. Wouldn't be right to come join them tonight unprepared right?

"Might be helpful I guess." Prissy remarked with an all too sweet smile flashed at the one snagging those tickets. She knew now she wouldn’t be asked again, Prissy hated being delayed when tickets and rules were the least of her concerns tonight. The guy nearly blushed as the two walked by. Sometimes it was just too easy...not that she was complaining.

"I like the cheesy ones, gotta appreciate that horror humor." or at least Prissy did. Then again horror movies were more like turn ons for her. Did humans really find blood and screams so horrible? She didn't get it. She didn't even try to have typical girly reactions to it, most of the time she couldn’t help but giggle. "Sounds like a good night..." she mused right before they arrived where the rest were located.

There Prissy made her rounds of sorts. Saying hello, hugs even to a few of the guys eager to gain a touch. Soon enough Prissy settled down into her seat though, of course right next to Sophie.

But she didn’t mind handing her purse over so that the goodies tucked away inside could be distributed. She was all about sharing…at least for tonight she was.

Sophie was no lemming. She knew herself to be different from others. But where almost all her age imagined themselves to be different, Sophie knew it to be true. With an intelligence quotient in the top 99.997.6 percent of the population… of course she was different. And she felt it. And as much as Sophie disdained the idea of being like all the rest of society. The truth was, her little corner of the world was often a lonely place to be.

All that aside… genius or not, intelligence didn’t make anyone immune to being played. Everyone had their weaknesses. Find a person’s weakness, exploit it to your will, and you might have a slave for life.

She noticed the blush, and wasn’t surprised by it. It seemed to be the norm. Most guys, and even some girls, seemed to just fall all over themselves wanting to please the woman. It was a special quality she had. Call it charisma, call it charm, Sophie reckoned it to be similar to so many successful leaders of the world. Those whose followers just blindly followed. Ghandi had it, so did Hitler, and even Charles Manson. A gift like that could be used for good or evil obviously. Like most else in the world.

Soon enough they were tucked in, safe and sound, to their own darkened corner of the theater, as the first movie came suddenly to life on the screen. Sophie jumped and then laughed at herself for being so lame. Sheesh.

So very unique in this big bad world filled with those that knew nothing and appreciated even less. Prissy had heard it all before, Sophie wasn't the first one that she'd run into that was all about rebelling and showing just how unique they were after all. Doubtful she'd be the last either. But Prissy knew how to play into it, show how eager she was to be around her because she was so different. Always remarking on how she couldn't stand those mindless drones the world so spit out, anymore then Sophie could.

There own attitudes were often their number one weakness...but it wasn’t as though prissy minded. It just gave her something to toy with. Strings to pull. She needed to get this little human wrapped around her finger after all. She'd do what she had to in order to get just that. She was nothing if not persistent.

Prissy had to roll her eyes slightly as they passed blushing beauty. "Sometimes I just don't get it." she mused with a laugh as she glanced over at Sophie. Prissy didn't act as though she thought herself such a pretty thing. Oh she was confident, no doubting that. But she didn't act like that was all she had on her side. A strong woman always had more then just looks to count on.

The demoness settled on in, chatting with the group until the movie started up. Not that they really were going to be silent as little mouse’s through it. Prissy snickered as Sophie jumped, nudging her slightly. "Aww come on, just started." She teased with a good natured grin. But no worries little human, Prissy was there to make sure nothing came crawling out of the dark to get her. Nothing except her that was....

Through the first show Prissy was like most of the group, making cracks on the cheesy affects and of course giving a good few shouts to the screen. Especially with the star of the film decided that showering when there were monsters out to get them was a good idea. Boob shots, they really were worked into everything. Not that any of the guys minded the girl running around in her towel for awhile.

Thankfully they gave a bit of a break between each movie. Once the first one started to near its end Prissy was quick to announce “Smoke break.” More then a few in the group happened to agree.

Sophie didn’t think nobody knew anything. Everyone knew something. Problem was so many, too many were content to wallow in their ignorance, and had no desire to learn more, to challenge themselves, or to be challenged. And an even bigger problem had come from teachers that weren’t willing to challenge them, and were intimidated by students who wanted more. Sophie took more, wherever she could get it. Be that from the school janitor (who had earned a PhD in philosophy), her AP English teacher, her Grandpa John, and now Prissy. There were a host of people all over the world with a shit ton of knowledge and experience to offer the curious teen. Most just had no idea how much they knew, or how little, and too many had no time or energy, to share.

The staff of all Seattle’s museums knew Sophie by name if not face, but if not for revolving, traveling exhibits, they were running out of things to offer. Sophie just needed a challenge. She needed… something more than what was offered, so like any bored teen, like any creative kid, she found more.

Whatever. Sophie chalked it up that charisma, and to most men, especially men her age, being led by hormones. Prissy had a certain something that stirred them and made their Mister Happy’s stand up and beg for attention. Sophie couldn’t blame them, even she sometimes found herself feeling that way about Prissy. Not the first time she’d found herself drawn to her own gender, Sophie just didn’t usually act on those feelings, not any more than she did with guys.

At least, she didn’t act on them until she was all alone with her thoughts and her shower head.

She rolled her eyes, as much at herself, and her own reaction, as at Prissy’s teasing for it. She even flushed slightly. “Someone grabbed my ankle.” She lied and chuckled.

“About fucking time.” Sophie was one of the first out of her seat, already with cigarette in hand. She stretched and glanced at the others. “Let’s go.”

Those that knew nothing of true value. Those that choose to keep themselves so sheltered in the dark. Of course most humans did just that without even realizing it. The signs were always right there, just peeking up from the shadows if they looked correctly. But such things were always reasoned away weren't they? Monsters like those couldn't possibly exist. Sometimes Prissy just couldn't help but enlighten some humans. That is before she killed them of course. Wouldn't want them to start a big fuss over such a little thing.

She didn't mind sharing what she knew, to a degree, to dear Sophie though. She was such an eager student. Just eating up anything she could. Prissy of course was eager to see just what else she wanted. She didn't show it like others might, not yet, but Prissy knew those looks. Fleeting as they were. Press too hard too fast and even humans could be scared away by that desire. But weave them in just right...

Just a little nudge. A tease. A smirk or a look. She knew what reaction she could earn from all of it. "Oh?" Prissy mused, smirking at her before directing her attention to the screen. That is of course besides the time when she grazed her foot against Sophie’s ankle, just to get a little jump. Since her ankles were so sensitive after all. A wicked little grin was flashed in the dark before she'd return to watching the movie. The blood wasn't nearly real enough looking. maybe Prissy should make Horror movies...she'd make them much better then this.

Prissy laughed when Sophie jumped out of her seat. "And how many more movies do we gotta sit through?" she questioned about miss eager to get up and moving again. Of course she was quick to follow her right back outside to join her in that beloved smoke. Such a pretty burn but she much rather a drink. One good and strong with just a bit of fae dust or maybe a splash of some sweet things blood.

“Alright so how many fake jumps and screams did you count?” Prissy remarked with an arch of the brow as she glanced around the group, a few laughs following and a few shakes of the head. Really there had been far too many of them. It made Prissy eager to get up and earn some real screams so the girls could learn how it was done. If you were going to pretend then at least do a good job at it.

“I gave up counting after like fifteen or so.” She was going to start mocking them soon at this rate. See how many she could make really huffy. Maybe one would even start to get an attitude. Prissy could be such a catty little thing. Was typically damn hot when she was too.

Had she just nudged her foot against her? Well yeah, obviously she had. While internally bewildered, she played it off, smirking in Prissy’s direction, then making the same joke of it that Prissy was, all gasps and shivers, and even a feigned squeal and a “Oh, I’m so scared, hold me.” Bit of sarcasm.

“Enough that I might just start lighting up in the middle.” Sophie announced stretching. To which another movie goer not even in their group, just passing by commented that she better not. “Aw Fucking shut it hitler, or I’ll be sure to sit right in front of you and blow it right in your face. Ever hear of sarcasm? Maybe you should just learn to keep your nose up your own ass and out of mine, fucker.” She rolled her eyes, glancing back to her crowd who was taking way too long for her liking. Hell, Sophie had been ready before the last scream.

“I quit at about twenty. But can’t count any of mine… they were all real.” Sophie grinned coolly, her lips wrapped around the joint Marcus the drummer had passed her before the movie started. She lit it, then offered a hit to Prissy. Of course she was the sharing kind. While Prissy took a puff Sophie lit a regular cigarette. Not much time, she had to feed both cravings at once. She just hoped there wasn’t anything weird in it, as Marcus some did like to lace his smokes. She made him promise there wasn’t anything mind-altering though.

It was so easy to play off such small touches like that. Just little Prissy seeking to get a jump out of the girl and nothing more right? Of course, or at least the human could think so. Prissy knew that her touches weren't ever so subtle. Light as they might be they seemed to linger, keeping another’s notice longer then any others would. Prissy kept up the banter well during the movie, screeching and even behind her hands at a few points with desperate oh tell me when its over. Mocking the dumb blond twit not too far from them that looked like she might start crying at any moment she was so scared.

You could see the seams...and some of the strings. Could humans really be scared of this? Prissy certainly didn't get it.

"For shame you rebellious little thing!" Prissy gasped to Sophie's words, rolling her eyes and laughing before someone walking by decided to stick their nose into it. Moving by Prissy got in close to the person, speaking loud enough for all to hear but in a tone that seemed like it was a whisper. "You forgot your cute little ushers outfit back there you know." she nudged them towards the front area. "Might want to put that on next time you start reciting the rules, we'll be sure to ignore you outright then."

The angry scoff was left behind them as they quickly exited the theater and got straight to that smoking area. A bit of shoving and move the fuck out of the ways were needed, but eventually they were able to get those nice fixes in before the following movie started up.

"I know, big scaredy cat. I think I got nail marks from where you were clutching to my arm in fright." Prissy glanced down, checking her skin before gladly taking that joint off of Sophie’s hands for a moment. A puff and a pass, Prissy savoring the burn for just a bit before seeing to her own cigarette. She was disappointed that there wasn't anything more to it. So boring. Just wasn't going to be enough for Prissy. Not at all.

Prissy shifted, jumping up a bit so that she could sit on a half wall near them, though never seeming to stay too far from Sophie. Not that it would ever be noticeable, how could it really when you were in a group? “No ones going to be running away early to get themselves tucked in bed tonight are they?” Prissy questioned with an arch of her brow as she glanced around the group. Oh sometimes it happened, young little humans that they were. Prissy wanted to make sure that they were going to stay out and play tonight.

Prissy wanted that quality time. Of course really the question was only for one out of the group, only one that Prissy really cared much about. Sophie and her mommy that worried so much. Would she feel better knowing Sophie was in such good hands? Daren’s sister wouldn’t let anything bad happen right?

Made Prissy grin a little to think about.

Sophie watched as Prissy teased the snooty snooper. Of course, when she spoke to the guy his whole demeanor seemed to change. In fact, he seemed to like being humiliated by her. Doubtful anyone else noticed, it was so subtle, but Sophie did. She was watching, and usually pretty accurate in judging reactions. Sure, he scoffed, but without much real conviction. In fact, when Sophie glanced back, she could see the lustful gaze he had fixed on the other girl. His date noticed too and was glaring at him.

“Hardee Har.” Sophie might have actually believed her, except for the fact she hadn’t gripped her arm. Maybe she would have to actually give her some actual claw marked in the next movie. Claw marks and bruises.

Another hit, another pass back, and she was half way done with her smoke. They were going to have to do all this and get a pee break in, all within this way too short window. Or Sophie could just get a pee break when she actually needed it. Not like she couldn’t figure shit out easily enough if she missed something.

“I don’t know. Bet Marcus and Lisa might run off to tuck each other in.” Someone remarked about the drummer and his girlfriend who were still completely wrapped up in each other. Sophie started to reply but a howl not too far off cut her off. She shivered, wrapped her arms around herself and looked around, then shrugged it off. “I’m here all night.” She said. “You?” She asked the older woman.

Such a weak minded little human. One whisper by the ear and he was hooked. Willing to streak through the theater barking like one of those movie werewolves if she told him to. It was so cute sometimes...and at others so very pathetic. But they did end up making rather good distractions. Little zombies to throw in others paths when she needed it. Canon fodder some called it...was rather accurate. But Prissy acted like she didn't even notice. Smirking about the way he scoffed and heading outside without a glance back. Even if she could feel his eyes on her the whole way. Not that his were the only ones.

A sweet little smile was flashed Sophie's way "Aww it's okay, the movie was really scaryyyy" Prissy teased, nodding her head quickly in confirmation. Too bad she really didn't look serious enough to try to pull that off. She just ended up snickering instead. She wouldn't mind the girl getting nails into her though, she didn't mind a bit of bruising either. Prissy liked it rough.

Prissy took the next hit, feigning the reaction the humans gave. She could hold it far longer, take so much more, but with those that used that always did arch a few brows. It was passed off once more and Prissy went back to sucking on her cigarette. She wasn't worried about time, not like they couldn't figure out what happened in the intro or that she couldn't get their seats back if someone tried being greedy and snatching them up.

"Looks like they don't need to get tucked in to get right to it." Prissy remarked, glancing over at the two. It wasn't like she blamed them, they did have a succubus in their company and they were already so worked up. Was a nice little treat for her. Better then that joint being passed about.

A puppy, Prissy gave a glance to but she didn't shiver for it. No...she eagerly wanted to go find what it was barking about. Did it have a meal? Did it find someone to play with...someone to hunt?! Would be a better show then these movies were. "I got all night, wouldn't want to miss all the gory action." Prissy didn’t have any need to go running home before the sunrise to keep mommy or daddy from worrying. Her daddy knew right where she was…and would be disappointed if she came back so early. That is unless she came back with a treat for them to share.

As fun as that would be she couldn’t pass up chance to get under the girl’s skin a bit.

Already people were starting to file back in, a rush like they were going to miss something epic if they didn’t get in right that second! Prissy took another drag, killing off her cigarette and crushing it out. “Ready for some more screaming and bitch stop running up the stairs!”

“Get a room.” One of the others commented to the two that seemed to have no concept of time or place, or that there were even other people around. True, they always were pretty wrapped up in each other, but tonight was one of the worst. Any time Prissy was around it was, but no one had yet made that distinction.

Prissy’s daddy. If Sophie had a clue it was unlikely she’d trust her very much. At least right now. But she wouldn’t hold it against her completely. After all, a lot of people had asshole parents. Sophie’s own were pretty damn cool, even if she didn’t often tell them that, but yeah, some others outright sucked. Hell, in their band alone one had a physically abusive dad, one had a meth addicted prostitute mom, and was homeless, having been kicked out of his house because his stepdad didn’t like him. There were some fucked up people in this world… most of which were adults. Sophie knew she was one of the lucky ones.

She laughed at Prissy, crushed out her own cigarette and followed her inside. But instead of going to her seat, she went for a coke. A large one. She’d share, because she was nice like that, and they had free refills. She hoped Prissy like Jack Daniels.

The remark earned a nice one finger salute but certainly didn’t stop the two any. Prissy was tempted to go over and pet them. It wouldn't stop them...no they would only go at it more feverishly then before. They weren't nearly a meal but Prissy wasn't going to say no to a bit of spark through the night. Even if their band mates might. Or some others in the audience. Not that the pair were the only ones making good use of the dark. There was a bit of moaning along with those screams.

Prissy knew all about Sophie’s family life. Just like she knew all the band members too. Paid off to know the sort of people you were trying to play. Some of them really were just too easy to play because of those sordid details of their life. Those with parent issues were always eager to have someone come along and rule a bit. Not that they quiet realized it. But Prissy could play that role rather well. Some just needed a bit of control.

Prissy also knew that mentioning who her daddy was, even if she called him brother instead, wasn't a good move yet. If it came up she'd simply say that she thought Maggie would have told her and act surprised that Sophie hadn't known already. Prissy could play innocent so well. Even if she was anything but innocent.

Just because she didn't like daddy though didn't mean she couldn’t like Prissy. Would be a bit closed minded to assume she was some bad thing because of him. Especially with all the good she'd done for the band.

Sophie went off to get her drink; Prissy crashed back into her seat and got herself comfortable. Snagging some sweets from her purse even and letting it do its rounds around the group before getting the good candy back. Prissy was a sweets lover and what sort of movie would it be without snacks?

It wasn't long before the movie started up and not much longer after that, that Sophie showed up. "You were just about to miss the most exciting and breathtakingly predictable part!" that of course was right when the monster made its appearance and the on scream scarlet screamed and rushed about like her head had been cut off and she had no eyes to see with.

Prissy just snickered and propped her feet up on the seat in front of her, the person not even seeming to mind at the moment. Then again Prissy was pretty sure she had her head other places at the moment. Like between her boyfriends legs.

Sophie glanced in their direction with a combined look of amusement and curiosity. How could anyone kiss for the long without blistering their lips? Or maybe they weren’t kissing through the movie. Not like Sophie was trying to notice their business. Though if she had to make bets on it, her money would say that they definitely were. And probably doing a bit more than kissing as well. Good thing this was real life. If they were in one of those movies, those two would be some of the first to be targeted. At least that was what Sophie noticed to be a common theme in many of them. Then again, the pot smokers were just as often targeted, weren’t they?

Good thing this was real life.

“Shit. You gonna scream this time?” She grinned. The drink was set in the armrest between her and Prissy and since Sophie had already sucked a bit out on the way to her seat, she now had room in the cup for the small bottle of Jack she pulled from her pocket. It was one of many. Easy to steal, easy to stash, easy to sneak into theaters, school, wherever.

For good measure she tossed in a second bottle, mixed it up, took a drink, then offered the cup over to Prissy as Sophie too propped her legs up on the seat in front of her.

Real life. There were a whole lot of definitions of just what that was. Though the movies weren't too far off really. Couples going at it while walking home did make good targets after all. So worried about sucking face that they didn't hear the big bad monster coming up behind them. And the stoners? They worked too. Slower to move...distracted all the same. The weak...the pretty...the dumb...all good monster food.

Lucky for this group that Prissy liked a bit of a challenge with her food. Wouldn't their lives be less interesting without her? Their band certainly would be.

"How could I not? Look how scary he is? I think I'm going to have to sleep with the lights on tonight." she shivered in her boots, oh so terrified of big screen monster man. Actually she thought he was sort of cute. Maybe all he needed was a good hug to make him stop being so grry? No one ever tried that now did they?

With a snicker Prissy gave a thumbs up to the second bottle being tossed in, just one and she wouldn’t even taste it. Why did most liquor have to be so...dull? But it was better then just soda so Prissy took herself a sip or two. Of course offering up her own variety of slipped into the theater goodies.

Big purses were sometimes real handy for that. Even if Prissy hadn’t brought her newest favorite one. Daddy bought it for her. But Prissy didn’t dress too fancy around the band. Which meant a lot of the things daddy bought her got to wait until she went out with him. Prissy didn’t mind though, she liked wearing things special for him.

Settling in of course Sophie’s movements earned a glare from the couple in front of them. Not that it lasted long. They were busy. Prissy just rolled her eyes, kicked the chair for good measure, and settled in to listen to another round of gasped screams, oh noes, buried faces and popcorn being thrown at the bad scenes.

Well they kind of did try hugging the monsters in vampire movies. Women would be all ooh sexy vampire man, and offer themselves… only to be surprised when he was suddenly burying his fangs in their neck. Lame. If there was such a thing Sophie would be running the other way, not asking him for a dance. Even if he did look a lot like Gerard Butler.

All settled in, ignoring the ass in front of her until she snickered at Prissy kicking his seat. It was the same dick from earlier. How amusing.

But then after a few sips and nodded no thanks to the candy, Sophie was ready for another smoke. Maybe the movie was so bad that it had gone beyond cheesy into just painful. Maybe it was the booze. Or maybe she just really had a craving. “Gonna skip out on the next few minutes and go grab a few more cigarettes. You game?” She asked, not really expecting the other to want to join in. After all, she seemed to be getting into the movie. At least in the since of using it as a backdrop to even better entertainment.

Sorta hugging...more like offering themselves up for live bait. Which the monster didn’t seem to mind any but it wasn't petting his head and telling him he was a good little puppy like he wanted to hear. You could see it in his eyes obviously; he had mommy issues and just needed a bit of love. Instead the girls went running off screaming their heads off. No wonder he got kill happy, talk about rejection.

The movie really was a sad piece of work though. Were the new ones that much better? Prissy hadn't watched that many really, she didn't spend all that much time crashed out in front of the tv like some people. She much rather be playing games and out and about. There was so much fun to have. Okay....maybe in the mornings she liked to be lazy. But she wasn't really a morning person. Mornings were meant for not getting out of bed.

Prissy was idly watching the screen but was more watching the crowd and the little girl next to her. Noting all the sips of her drink and the fidgety nature of her movements. She pretended not to notice though. Not until Sophie spoke up and Prissy gave a glance over. "Sure, I already know how this ones going to go anyways." the good guys always somehow won, why was that? The bag guys were always way better.

And way cooler.

Of course before she got up she had to give another good kick to the seat in front of them, accident and all, before slipping out of the seats and then out of the theater all together. Much as Prissy did love the hunger in the air, some time alone with the girl was far more what she was looking for tonight.

Once outside Prissy took her seat up on that half wall again, flopping her purse down next to her so she could dig through to find her cigarettes and somewhere in there her lighter. Always did try to elude her, tricky thing that it was. “Done with the fake scream fest in there huh?” she questioned, words partially muffled around the cigarette at her lips. She gave a glance over at Sophie, a brow arched just a bit before she refocused on the task at hand. Meaning her lighter was found and her cigarette got to be lit.

Prissy was starting to think more then just some movies was in order. A good drink maybe. Music. Something that made the girl more comfortable then some dark theater with fake boogie monsters creeping along it all night.

Some of the newer movies actually were better. Though it was all relative, to the discerning viewer. Old or new, writing and concept were always paramount, and too often what was missing in the horror genre. Sure, there were some greats. But for every Dario Argento there were a 100 Ed Woods. And Sophie wasn’t really immune to the fright factor. If she allowed herself to become really engrossed in a film, she’d be as jumpy as all these other girls. It was just a little hard to lose yourself in a storyline with more holes than cottage cheese, blood splatters that looked like syrup and food coloring, and acting worse than the local car sales ads.

Maybe that was what got her anxious now. This movie really did have the potential to be a scary one, and Sophie was not having it. No matter how she focused it was hard to distract herself with the technicalities of the cinematography and not get swept up in the horror of the story. Dario Argento really was a master.

Either that or something else had her on edge. But Sophie had no idea.

“Yeah.” She answered, lighting her own cigarette. She offered her lighter over to Prissy but the other girl found hers first. “Kind of stifling in there.” She shrugged and put her head up, breathing in the cool night air. “Nice out here though.” She wanted another joint. Too bad she’d left her drink inside.

Newer movies likely were a bit better with effects but really Prissy had some high expectations on what pain and horror should really be. It was probably a good thing for the film world that Prissy was a busy busy little girl and didn't have the time, yet, to devote to enlightening the world in that particular genre of things. Maybe someday..she did have so many years on her side after all.

But for tonight Prissy was rather done with the horror movie mocking and general amusement that pathetic little girls could bring. If she stayed in there much longer she was going to have to try to spice things up and that might not go as some humans were hoping tonight. Maybe lure in a werecreature...let them play with all the girls and boys.

Prissy was willing to take full advantage of the girls eager need to get out for a bit. Whatever the reason for it...Prissy could make her guesses. But did it matter why? No, all that mattered was that Prissy got what she wanted. She always seemed to in the end. Was just her luck.

"Yeah I know, can only breath the same recycled air with so many others for so long right?" she remarked with a slight smirk and arch of the brow. "And only so many girly squeals you can hear before it starts to jar the nerves a bit." Prissy pulled her legs up, crossing them beneath her as she smoked. "Yeah, not complaining at all about getting out" or the charge in the air out here. That spark from all those pretty weres.

"Orrr the smoke break." she continued with a snicker, digging into her bag to happen to have what Sophie was looking for. She did say she brought treats after all. But Prissy’s stuff was far better then what that little kid had managed to get his hands on. She knew a pretty kitty that only sold her the good stuff.

Already rolled and ready to go Prissy traded one for the other. Snubbing out the cigarette she’d been smoking and instead indulging in the joint. Of course offering to share after a puff or two of her own.

Good thing indeed. Sophie was just a human girl after all, and deep down, with human sensitivities. She had an appreciation for the tender things in life, even if she didn’t often show that. It was a hard world after all, at least her part of the world was, and Sophie understood the dangers to those too soft.

The idea of a horror movie marathon on the night of a full moon was, in theory a good idea. But in actuality it quickly lost it’s scintillation. Or maybe it was just Sophie. Everyone else seemed just as deeply emersed as they were in the beginning. But for Sophie, there was only so much fake blood and fake tits she could stomach. Not that she was eager to see the real thing, more like she was feeling her mind dulling and needed some sort of stimulation.

She grinned at the proffered joint and hopped up to take a seat beside the other. She puffed her own cigarette again before the joint was handed over and happily accepted. One hit and Sophie knew this was probably stronger than any she’d had before. It was good. Damn good. She smiled, contentedly as she passed it back. “Nice.” She said, once she finally excelled. “That’s the good shit.” The kind Sophie had no money for.

The world needed the soft hearted sorts as much as those tough and jaded. Variety was the spice of life and Prissy rather liked playing with them all. Prissy had already long ago come to the conclusion that this pretty thing wasn't nearly as tough as nails as she liked to act. But Prissy didn't mention it at all, wouldn't gain her any ground to. No she played along, letting the girl talk about what she wanted and leaving all other tender subjects vague. It took time to get some humans to open up. But Prissy was willing to take some of that time...at least for right now.

Though she was looking to...speed up the process a bit now that her daddy was so eager to have her controlling this one. Or, at the very least, having a great deal of sway.

Sitting silent in a crammed theater with only the sounds of hacking and slashing wasn't how Prissy was going to accomplish that. It was a start...maybe...but her ability to gain them gigs and work the business was far more influencing then being cool to go to movies with. Alone was much better for influencing. Alone was much better for working her charms...and swaying luck in her favor of course.

"Never leave home without it…" Prissy mused at the smirk for the joint. Prissy always had something good on her. Even a bottle or two of rather potent liquor happened to be on her person at the moment. She just hadn't pulled them out yet. “Figured we could use it after what we just sat through.” She remarked with a light laugh.

Once Sophie had taken a hit or two Prissy took the joint back, indulging in a few before passing it back along. “I’m starting to think that tonight needs something a bit more entertaining then some faked screaming and badly done special effects, how about you?”

What? Well Prissy could come up with a few ideas. But she didn’t mind letting the other get her say in, let her feel like she had some control and sway of her own. But she, for some strange reason, just didn’t think Sophie was all that eager to go rushing into that theater to sit for a few more hours.

If the others wanted something more or not Prissy had no idea but she of course didn’t care. They could stay just where they were…in fact that was all for the better in Prissy’s opinion.

Not exactly the trusting sort, Sophie really was the kind to quickly move away if someone moved too fast. Anytime those hairs at the back of her neck stood up, she was up and out of there. Trust no one. At least not until they’d proved they could be trusted. Not like she’d got to that point by being seriously hurt or anything. Nope. She’d never let it get to that point before. Instead, she watched and learned, and knew from how others were hurt that she wasn't at all eager to let anyone come along to fuck up her life.

“Good policy.” Sophie mused, her lids growing heavy as she allowed the good, trusting feelings to wash over her. A wolf, or… something, howled from what seemed only about a block away and Sophie glanced in that direction and only smiled. “You ever notice that?” She asked, turning slowly to glance back at Prissy. She was looking at he lips then pulled her eyes up to look at her eyes, which looked perpetually stoned, and also perpetually scheming. Sophie thought it was a cool mix. “You ever notice all the howling and other wild sounds on full moons? I mean,” She reached for the joint, hoping to have another hit of the primo weed. “it’s like I know it’s not a night any different than any other night, except maybe for the occasional unexplained phenomenon, and also that whole… lunar pull thing, but… I swear it seems like I hear more of those sounds on the full moon.

Another howl, from closer by, and Sophie shivered and subconsciously moved closer to the other girl, but then shook her head and chuckled. "See?" She grinned at herself. "Pretty sure that's not all in my head. Least I fucking hope it's not."

Some humans had a rather decent instincts, that gut feeling that made them turn away or hesitate. Prissy was rather capable of getting past that. Slinking her way in past their guards to get close. She appeared so sincere after all. Not always sweet but like she held true interest in the other. She wasn't going to push this human girl too hard too fast though. No it was too important a game for that. Slow charm, swaying luck. Carefully choosing her moves.

"I seem to think so." she replied with a wicked smile to her lips. "Never know when a boring day will need a pick me up." or any other day for that matter. Prissy never really let her days be boring. The howl made Prissy turn her gaze, staring off into the distance like she could see the pretty puppy there. Werecreatures...the wolves always announced themselves but there were so many others that didn't. For all they knew a pretty kitty could be right behind them...or for all the girl knew at least. Prissy would feel them long before they were near enough to strike.

"Is it a day really like any other? That lunar pull...might be more to it then some people think. Can sway tides after all right? So why not make dogs just a bit more vocal...or us even a bit more adventurous?" she smirked "Or maybe its just a good excuse for everyone to be a bit more active." a laugh but really humans did seem to need an excuse to have fun and play. Why did a day matter? Why not just play because you wanted to play hmm?

"Movies getting to you Sophie?" Prissy teased before handing the joint back once again. "Or that dog just really wants us to be paying attention." Did the puppy have a catch to show off? Prissy so wanted to go take a look! Prissy glanced around, like she was starting to wonder about the howls too. Especially when another sounded closer still. “No…not in your head.” Prissy drew a knee up, an arm circling around it and her chin resting against her knee.

“I think the full moons making me want a bit more then some movie watching tonight.” She continued onto her words before “Want to go be adventurous?” chase after a pretty howl….or just get the hell away from the quickly boring theater. She took one last drag before handing the rest over to Sophie to kill.

Sophie usually trusted her own instincts completely. Usually. But sometimes she found herself doubting even that. Especially when she was under the influence of some substance. Generally, she was in control, like she liked to be. But always in life there were exceptions to the rules. Sophie trusted her instincts, but like much else in life, sometimes even those might be wrong.

“Mhm. Think most days in life can use a pick me up.” Sophie grinned playfully.

She nodded, eagerly almost. “Yeah. I think there is more to it then that maybe. Maybe a lot more to it. People tend to dismiss what they don’t understand, or anything mysterious or beyond our knowledge. Like, they want to just explain it away as easily as possible, except their explanation as fact, and then move on. Sometimes, I guess we get lucky and get it right, but there are still so many mysteries without explanation.” Like… the mystery of that howl. That really didn’t sound like a regular wolf. And even if it was, why would it be in the city?

“Yeah.” She rolled her eyes at herself. “Something like that.” She took a grateful drag from the joint. This stuff was so good she could almost convince herself the howling was nothing more than someone’s pet shephard. Sure. Or like, a malamute, or even a husky. Huskies had howls like that, didn’t they?

She was finishing it off, holding it carefully to her lips with a clip, when Prissy made her query. A brow arched, Sophie turned to look at her, then finally blew out the last of the smoke. “Of course.” She grinned. “What do you have in mind?”

Now that was what what full moon’s were best for. Adventure.

Instincts were all well and good but sometimes you had to give a situation a chance right? You just never knew.... Prissy rarely let it get to that point with her games though. Luckily she managed to evade those danger flashes in her toys minds. Then again who could look at her and really want to run away?

Prissy tended to trust her own instincts though. Some supernaturals she knew right away weren’t the sorts to play with. But facts, feel, understanding...that played a role more then instincts did. Prissy rarely went into her games blind. Wasn't a good way to stay alive and Prissy wasn’t looking to die young.

There was too much fun to be had still.

"True" Prissy snickered, quickly nodding her heading agreement. Yes...such helpful things those pick me ups were. The little girl needed some options other then weed though. No variety really in that. Play could be quiet the pick me up. Girl needed to indulge in it more often.

"People don't like things that don't fit into their perfect little boxes." Prissy replied, shaking her head a little. "Mysteries? Those aren't allowed. Everything can be explained away. Nothings allowed to be beyond them." Prissy rolled her eyes a bit to that. Humans lived in precious little bubbles that they didn't like popped. What would Sophie think of the real world? Those answers to some of those mysteries...

Too bad Prissy wouldn't get to be there when she came to find out her daddy was a blood sucker.

Maybe she'd get the wake up call tonight... It was so tempting to take her to see where that howl was coming from. The puppy, Prissy was sure, would enjoy some new playmates for the night. But his cries started to move away...maybe he was chasing something now. A new human to play bunny for the night.

"Anything but being here?" she arched her brow with a laugh, pushing herself to her feet and grabbing her purse. "Can see where the moon pulls us." As she spoke she dug into her purse, grabbing her phone to text the group and let them know they were heading out. Prissy didn’t want any interruptions later by a bunch of confused teens wondering where little Sophie had run off to.

Now they’d know she was in…more then capable hands.

Exactly Sophie’s thinking. In fact, being a thinking creature, her instincts were never the first thing she turned to, though neither were they her last. In fact, her instincts usually told her to trust her knowledge. No matter who you were, it took a bit of brains to stay alive. Look both ways before crossing the street, always wear a seatbelt, don’t swap blood with strangers, and so on and so forth. Took more than instincts, but it also took more than brains.

“Too bad really.” She shrugged. “Nice as it is to have answers to most things, it’s also fun to not have answers to everything. Some things should just stay like that, ya know?” Even if it was true that truth was stranger than fiction. Like the idea that the Salem witch trials were instigated because the whole town was high on wheat toxins.

“Sure.” Sophie nodded. And as Prissy texted the others, Sophie zipped her hoodie up before lighting up another cigarette. Before putting the pack away she offered one to Prissy. The woman had just shared the best kind bud with her ever. The least Sophie could do was offer up a smoke. Still, seemed way lacking though, honestly.

"Life’s supposed to have some mystery." Prissy agreed with a touch of a smile to her lips. Mystery...unknowns....the human world was filled with them, more then they ever really came to know. The supernatural world wasn't without that, Prissy wasn't even going to claim she understood all magics or how things were. But not understanding how it worked didn't mean she wasn't aware of it. Prissy tried to be a rather intellectual thing despite what most might think at first glance. Knowledge gave you an edge in the game and Prissy was all about having the odds swayed in her favor.

She wasn’t the sort of girl that liked to lose after all.

"But people get so caught up in trying to know everything that they lose sight of that. Takes the fun out of some things." the appeal. It was sort of cute when a human tried to explain away what was right in front of them though. Like wings...fangs...horns... Sometimes Prissy was certain supernaturals could walk around in plain sight with all those oddities displayed and humans wouldn't even blink an eye. They'd just justify it as a costume and go on with their day never thinking twice about it.

Sort of pathetic really....some just couldn't help but live in their little boxed world. But Prissy didn't mind tearing down those walls from time to time. Exposing the truth to those unwilling to budge minds.

"Cool." Prissy went to telling the others, getting a text or two back. Nothing important really, a question of where that went unanswered and some have funs. The general crap that she played off. she wasn't giving them a where. They didn't have one yet and she didn't want the troop following them just yet.

Prissy took the offered cig, putting it to her lips and letting Sophie lit it for her rather then digging back into her purse to try to find that lighter again. "Looks like they are all going to chill out here." she remarked finally as they started to walk away, her phone being tucked back into her purse. Not a complete lie really, none had come running out or anything after all. It got to be just the two of them.

“Car or by foot?” Prissy had driven after all but she didn’t mind either way.

Once all the questions are answered, then what? Shit would get really boring then. Not that everything ever could be answered. That was the point really. No one was omniscient, save God. And Sophie for one was glad she wasn’t. She liked the learning, perhaps even more then the knowing. The unfolding of knowledge, the “ah” of discovery. One of Sophie’s faults was that she hated being told, far better to learn. If the shit was all just handed to you black and white, it got lost, just sort of gleaned over. But a lesson learned was imprinted indelibly on your brain.

“Like the movies.” Sophie nodded in agreement. Knowing they were fake took the fun out. Not that Sophie would actually be entertained by any of that being real. No, that was the point… why it was called horror. Because it was. Any of that happeneding in real life would be complete horror, and something they should all fear and hate. If they were sane, and humane.

After the texts, Prissy accepted a smoke a Sophie lit it for her. No need for the other to have to dig around in that black hole of a purse again. Not when Sophie had such quick and easy access to her own lighter. Right there in her front pocket.

“Pussies.” She replied to the remark about the other’s staying put. She thought for a minute about the questioned, considered the weather, and decided without any rain it might be a lot more fun to foot it. “Never know what kind of things you can find on foot.” That was a lot more like an adventure, wasn’t it?

Better to get your hands in there and really figure things out right? Much more fun then having someone stand there telling you how it was done. Prissy could understand the fun in that. In her life that’s certainly how she learned. Mommy dear couldn't teach worth shit and so Prissy simply had to go out there and see what she could do. Learn as she went...and learn well she did. To the point where it was Mommy who wanted to learn a few things from her. Not that Prissy had given her any help. Why should she?

This little human had that adventurous spirit that Prissy could appreciate. And of course use to her advantage. Some little girls would be eager to call home to mommy by this point. Let everyone know where she was going and what she was doing. Some would say no thank you to walking around on a full moon in the middle of the night. Some...were a bore.

Prissy laughed by nodded her head quickly "Exactly, like the movies. Sometimes you just gotta sit back and enjoy the ride right? Don't have to pick everything apart." not unless it was an old horror movie, then really that was the fun of it. But not the point.

"I think I’ll go with lazy and too tongue tangled to join us." half of them were probably too stoned to get up and walk around and the other two...well by now they were probably humping in some back corner of the theater. Just because Prissy was gone didn't mean the affects of her presence faded all that quickly away.

They faded even slower when they were focused on one lucky individual. "Very true, bit more adventure that way huh?" and on foot they very well might run into one of those puppies. Wouldn't that be interesting? Prissy smirked, zipping up her jacket and walking. Of course she paused when there was a choice. Left right or straight. Prissy did a little spin and with a laugh stopped quickly, her direction pointing them right. "Right it is."

Looky there, Prissy just happened to take them down the way where a few bars and dives were stationed. Of course it was a street that might make a few others turn around but Prissy was quiet at home with those sorts of energies to the air. A long drag was taken from her cigarette, some ash flicked to the side before she glanced over at Sophie. “So when you guys going to be ready for another show huh? Got a few I could get biting at the bit to get you guys on stage.” She wiggled her brows with a grin. Music. One of the few topics that really got the girl talking.

Sophie most definitely was what might be called a tinkerer. Learn by doing, learn by experimenting, and learn it well. Sure she could know what a guitar sounded like by listening to it, but she’d much rather learn the strings and how to make all the sounds herself.

Why should she call her mom? Okay, so she’d told her she was going to be at the theater, and implied that she’d be staying there. But it’s not like she’d run off with a stranger, not really. And Prissy had seen to texting the band, letting them know where they were going. Or at least giving them a general idea, since right now, neither girl really knew exactly where it was they were going. It was called being young, unhindered, and free to move about as they chose. No reason not to go and do as they wished when the movies got too boring.

“Yeah.” She snickered, her lips wrapped around the but of her cigarette. “That too.” Definitely in the too lazy catagory. She smirked and followed as Prissy took a left. Sophie knew the street. Nope, not one she’d want to venture down all alone, but what the hell, tonight seemed like a night to try new things. Maybe it was the weed making her feel empowered, but she didn’t really worry.

“Uh… yesterday. Dude, we’re always ready for another show.” They lived for the performance. Once thing they all had in common, and could actually get semi serious about.

Locations were just a minor detail right? Small thing that really didn't matter much. Out was out. Prissy was just fine with Sophie being the free willed sort. Made the game that much easier. Fewer people to butt their noses in and distract. The free spirited sorts were the fun ones anyways. Supposedly wild and adventurous. Never letting anyone stop them from a good time. Never giving much notice to the rules or how people think it should be done. Prissy didn't pay attention to rules either...see they had something in common.

Even if Prissy's "rule" breaking was just a little different.

Prissy took a right, snickering and calling Sophie over when she went down the left at first. "Unless you want to split up and see what we can see..." she remarked but that really wasn’t going to be the way of tonight. No Prissy wasn't done with this particular night of bonding just yet.

"Well I know you are always ready." Prissy spoke with a laugh and a grin that said she rather liked that about the girl. Made her wonder if she was always so ready in other ways.... "But the rest of the troop sometimes is another story." of course she was teasing, making fun of their laziness that came out every now and again. Like tonight of course.

"If that’s the case though I'll make some calls when I get home later tonight...in the morning...something." a light snicker as Prissy wasn't ready to call it a night yet. "Get things set up for the next few days. Looking to get you guys some more weekend gigs too, those are always the bigger venues." bigger venues, hotter spots, far more people to impress.

Music poured out of various buildings, lights flashed and people laughed. Prissy walked along for a bit, taking her time. Eyeing the places as they went. One particular bar had quiet the loud array of music going on. And an incredibly hot bouncer eyeing them too. "In the mood for a drink?" age was never a concern when Prissy was around. Fake ID's were good, but some could spot them. They just happened to not when Prissy gave them that look.

Life was for the living, and Sophie was still very much alive, and still very eager to live. And if you weren’t living then you were dying and Sophie was way too young to ever think about that. What was life without adventure anyway? Didn’t mean you had to be stupid about it, but yep, nothing like the present to grab life by the balls and have all the fun you could squeeze out of it.

She rolled her eyes, slightly embarrassed at going the wrong way, then held up her right hand and pointed it in the right direct. “Right… my other right.” Duh. She shook her head and followed after Prissy. “Oh fuck that.” She said. No way was she splitting up. Adventure was one thing, but a girl walking around down here all on her own, that was beyond stupidity.

To Prissy’s tease regarding her always being ready, Sophie wiggled her brows, playing cool right back, then turned her blushing face toward her cigarette. “They’re always ready for a nap maybe. Heh.” She winked. She smiled as Prissy continued, getting her hopes up for more gigs to come. “Sweet. They’ll like that. We all will.” And depending on the venue, maybe she’d even bring her parents out. Her dad had seen, but that had been without either of them even knowing. If she knew, there might have been a change in the song choices of the night.

Sophie considered it for a second, but kept it cool. After all, she did have an ID. Sometimes it even worked. “Sure, why not.” Even if the lecherous bouncer did make her a little bit nervous by the way he was trying to undress them both with his eyes. Creep.

"All the same at this point huh?" Prissy teased with a laugh. Of course the weed had been pretty damned good and lucky for them both that she had a bit more where that came from. One was even a bit more her tastes. Fae dust laced and a bit more then that. Maybe she'd let the girl have a try, she could always blame it later on the dealer. He told me it was clean.... Even if she'd made him promise that it was so far from just the normal stuff. Prissy wanted something with a kick.

A knowing grin was given for the quick rush to get back at her side. Alone was never a bright move but even less of one for a kid like Sophie. Those young years...made them quiet the target. Prissy would know after all. Naive sometimes...and in general just a bit weaker. Take them down before they had a clue. But walking with Prissy Sophie wasn't going to have to worry about outside influences. Any supernatural that happened to notice them would likely just think Sophie was her pet for the night.

And she was of course. Even if the girl didn't know it.

"Great, second I hear back from anyone I'll give you a call and let you know." or a text maybe, wouldn't want to wake the girl up too early on a Saturday. Especially not if tonight got a bit wild. "Doubt it will take them long to get back to me." others maybe but Prissy's sweet talking got her answers rather quick. "Anything in particular you guys would prefer? Or just anything I can snag up?" some bands could be picky after all.

Nearing the bar Prissy cast a curious glance Sophie's way. Obviously she knew the girls age but what did she care? If a girl wanted to drink a girl was going to drink no matter their age. "I'll lead the way." she offered with a smirk. Just a few coy words later the two were in the bar that wasn't near as bad as the creepy man out front might make one thing. The crowd was young enough, the air holding the faint scent of various smokes, the music the sort Prissy enjoyed and the floor filled with seats and dancing bodies. Off to the back there were probably some pool tables or various other things but Prissy was going to head straight for the bar.

"Grab us a table and I'll get ya a drink." with that Prissy disappeared up front, getting the drinks and getting in on the good side of the bartender for the night. Soon enough she was weaving through the crowd with drinks in hand headed towards Sophie.

The weed was… a bit more potent than what Sophie was used to. When it came to that you really did get what you paid for, and it was rare around here that to find the good stuff in Sophie’s budget. One day, when she was making steady money, she’d have the good stuff all the time.

Hell if it was laced with something else she might even just think it was just really really good shit. Dependent on what happened really.

“Great. You’ve really been a big help. It’s like, what we worked months on, you always seem to manage in one phone call.” Proof positive it really did pay to know the right people. Obviously, Prissy already had lots of connections, the right connections, and now, since they knew her, they had the right connection too.

“Well clearly not any places with lots of old folks, or puke preppy kids that would run out of the building covering their bleeding ears and screaming. Otherwise no real preference. We like Studio7, of course. But yeah… whatever gets us exposure, man.” She nodded and sucked on her cigarette.

And yet again, Prissy showed her knack for getting things done, as they were both inside the bar without a problem. “Sure thing.” They split and Sophie weaved through the crowd, which wasn’t too dense, and found a table with no one sitting at it, but with their shit still there. Smooth as silk, she slid out some cash that was just too easily accessible in the purse before she shoved the purse, the ball cap, and the 4 drinks on to an empty stool. The table was wiped off and Sophie casually added the stolen cash to her own and put it all away just as Prissy was arriving with her drinks. “Sweet.” She grinned. “Thanks.” A nice drink was taken in appreciation.

The really good stuff. Helped to loosen up those not always indulging sorts. Prissy was just after a good time after all and she was eager to make sure that everyone around her managed to have the same. Even if they didn’t really realize just what sort of a game they’d been dragged into until it was too late. Even those squirming whimpering sorts had a part of them that wanted to be there. Was difficult to completely, wholly, deny the succubus.

“Just lucky that way. Fell into the right connections when I got here and I’ve just kept them going.” She gave a little smirk. “All about the networking. Sometimes its boring as shit, but it has its advantages.” Some of the men really were dull. So vacant of anything really fun at all. Some of the women were the same way. But Prissy still smiled sweet and got her claws in. Boring didn’t mean they were without uses. And Prissy was all about seeing the…potential in others.

“Oh? Well shit there goes my next few gig plans.” Prissy spoke with a laugh and a roll of her eyes. “You know I got a pretty good guess on what you guys are going to like and not.” She definitely knew what sort of crowds would be receptive and which ones wouldn’t. Didn’t make her look good to drag them into a club that was going to hate them right? Exactly.

“I’ll see what I can come up with. Maybe find you guys a new venue or two.” Same places were good and all but exposure was found in the whole multiple locations. Changing areas to find new fans. Maybe she’d even look for some gigs in Canada or down towards Oregon or Cali. Get them a little…road trip time.

Once in the bar Prissy headed up to the bar, leaning against it and giving her prize winning smile. Free drinks were soon enough produced and Prissy was leaving the leering men to go find her little human again. “Here ya are.” She handed the drink over before taking a seat herself, spying a glance at the piled up stuff on the stool. She just smirked. “No problem of course.” She bemused before taking a drink. Obviously Prissy was the sort that didn’t mind getting a kid a drink. Girl could hold her liquor anyways. Better then some adults Prissy had played with.

“So whats new anyways huh? Besides the band which I’m sure you guys are working on more stuff that’s gunna grab me along with everyone else.” She wiggled her brows a bit with a grin. Even as she spoke she sipped on her drink. The second they were done more would arrive. No questions asked. Just looked like Prissy had told the tender to keep them coming.

They were young and wild and free. Tomorrow would be here soon enough, and one day, one day, far in the future, Sophie would be as old and stuffy as her parents, though she hoped not. But for now, she was going to live each moment, and she was going to enjoy it while she could. Especially when she’d already had a few tokes did she feel that attitude even stronger. She wasn’t one to have a completely fuck tomorrow attitude, but she was at least a little, right now.

“Well, whatever it is, I’m glad you do it so well.” Sophie figured Prissy was being modest. After all, she’d done that shit, wasn’t nearly as simple as just “falling into the right connections”, though the right connections was definitely a big part of it. No, Sophie was sure it had more to do with knowing where to find the right connections, and then knowing how to get those connections to want to connect with you. It probably was boring as shit. And one thing Sophie had seen was that they all wanted her to kiss there ass, which she had no intention of doing. She’d seen it was different with Prissy though. It was her charisma, that certain something she had. "I notice nobody ever expects you to kiss their ass."

Prissy showed up with drinks, one of which Sophie took happily with a wiggle of her ears and began drinking after a courteous “Thanks”. It was about then the table’s previous renters showed up, with the girl all huffing and puffing and looking like she might explode. It didn’t help her mood any that her boyfriend was grinning at Prissy like a happy little puppy dog. Boy was she going to be even more pissed later when she noticed her money missing.

Sophie smirked when she dragged her boyfriend away and even waved goodbye at the bitch. She lit two cigarettes and passed one to Prissy. “My dad came back into town.” She found herself saying, even though she’d had no intention of doing so. Sophie was very private with her private life after all. “After like, seven years.”

"Me too, wouldn't know what the fuck to do with my time if I didn't." Prissy made it pretty clear that networking and setting things up for people was pretty much how she made her way. She never made it appear like this band was the only one she had her eyes on. But she did tend to hint that they were her favorite of course. In reality Prissy did know a few others but really didn't waste much time in really playing the game. She didn't need the money now but it was a nice skill to be able to fall back on. Handy in just about every city she had passed through.

Prissy had to laugh at that comment "That’s because they are too busy wanting to kiss mine." she of course smiled wickedly and wiggled her ass "Not that I can say I blame them. But too bad for them that isn't how I play." no kissy kissy to get the band the deals they wanted. Wasn't Prissy's style, wouldn't get her much respect with the crowd. Plus most were just...not even that lucky.

Her ass of course was on view as she moved through the club. Especially by the boy that just so happened to once be seated at their table. Was surprising that he wasn't drooling and kicking his leg against the ground. Or humping her leg like a dog in heat. Was going to be an interesting fight later...but later wasn't now and Prissy just helped it along by blowing a kiss their way as the girl dragged him off.

Prissy took up the cigarette once the huffy pair had left, giving a nod of thanks as she took a drag and got herself settled in to enjoy some drinks. The confession of her father returning home was no surprise to Prissy but she did well to act like it was, a brow arching up and eyes going slightly wide. "Really? Wow...." she took a drag, seeming to think on it for a minute.

"That has to be pretty crazy. I don't even think I'd know what to feel about something like that..." she tipped her head slightly, obviously concerned for the other but not going over board with it as she knew Sophie was that act tough as nails sort of girl. "Has it sunk in yet?" a slow exhale off to the side “Has to be pretty surprising.” Waiting for that whole reality to come crashing down, waiting for it to be real and everything. The realist side of the girl…though she was sure that Sophie wanted to believe oh so deeply in dear daddy.

Fancy that another drink would happen to show with such words spoken. Not that Prissy was promoting for the girl to hide away in the liquor for tonight. No..not at all.

Such questions to get the girl to answer. Prissy knew it was a lot for her to talk at all about herself. Such a secretive little thing that kept her emotions to herself. Prissy, however, was excellent and prying those emotions out of people. Digging in until they couldn’t even try to deny spilling to her. Prissy didn’t push that hard tonight though, she knew that if she pushed too much with the girl too soon that she’d lose her. That wouldn’t bode well. No she needed to get the little girl under her thumb. Get her hooked. Prissy could do that even without pleasures. Though it did make things easier.

Tonight Prissy just let the girl talk as much as she was willing and left it at that. A few drinks to down, a few laughs to be had and of course just a bit of flirting. Wasn’t a night with Prissy without the flirting.

Eventually the two called the night quits though. Prissy offering to take the girl back home since she was such a good friend. A parting hug, Prissy watched her walk away with a faint smirk on her lips. Just a few more times alone and she’d be good to go. The young were never able to so easily shake her off.

With the girl gone and Prissy still hungry she went off to fetch a pretty puppy to be her night time feast. A young man that didn’t mind at all playing in the back of a bar till Prissy was filled enough to return home. Not that a feast couldn’t be found at home…
