Let me tell you about the night... ([info]from_the_depths) wrote in [info]haunted_roads,

Week Three: Tuesday
When: Night
Where: Alibi Room
Who: Nikolaos and Slade

Beyond the music played here at the Alibi room, was the sound of pounding rain. Thunderous as it beat against the pavement and those wandering souls that could not seem to get inside quite quick enough. The rain was still a strange thing to Nikolaos, a foreign sight that was not found within hells depths. Not in the same way it was found here. This rain held no heat and did not burn at its touch; any rain found in hell was more the falling of ash and cinders. What Nik found most amusing about the rain was how everyone acted as though it did them harm. Rushing through it, frantic to get away. Nik himself had walked for hours earlier, traveling through the shadows of the newly fallen night, uncaring of the rain that soaked his form.

Quite the sights were on the streets to see. The true nature of some beasts exposed with the darker weather so commonly found here. Shoving others out of their way, splashing them with cars, running before them to get a taxi or inside. So many shouts and sneers; cursing and frowns. Subtle little acts of chaos but each one had a domino affect. Angered by the acts of one the person snapped at someone else. Who pushed someone else aside. Who then nearly ran someone off the road with their car…on and on it went, building. Till quite the accident came to pass. Nik was an eye witness, close enough to watch the glass pierce the dainty cheek of a female driver. He could smell the blood and hear perfectly the scream caught in the wind.

He didn’t help of course, but savored that pain and anguish before leaving them behind to crawl out of the wreckage. If they were strong they’d survive…and if not they were meant to die.

His night was not meant for just wandering however, for all the interesting sights he ran across it did become quite tedious. Nikolaos needed a bit of variety. One plan and then another, of course many were already set up for him. An eager woman met underground nights prior wished for him to meet her again. She had that shine about her eyes that showed an eagerness for so much more. Nik had every plan to crush that pathetic little desire… But not until he’d had his chance for some continued play.

And play he had, the manager for the night at the Alibi Room didn’t seem to mind letting Nik use a lower room for awhile. A bit of cash to the pocket made him turn that blind eye. Typically that wouldn’t work well, not with how women did love to scream. But it hadn’t been difficult to find something to gag the pretty little thing with. The choked screams then were just for Nik’s ears alone…and scream she did. Pushing her limits, testing those lines, forcing the body to nearly reach its breaking point. He couldn’t push too far though…not in public as they were.

Not that a show wasn’t made. Especially when afterwards Nik simply adjusted his suit and walked out. The women had been more then a bit taken back. A few sharp words quieted her complaints quickly. Such pitiful tears in her eyes as she dashed off. Cruel thing that he was, just no concern for the heart. No…not at fucking all. The girl should consider herself lucky if she never saw Nik again. Another meeting and he just might have to really show her how pointless matters of the heart were. But by the time she left the parking lot her tears for the night would be gone. She'd scarcly remember a thing. The demons following in the shadows saw to such things.

With that temporary playmate dismissed Nik returned to the bar. A tucked away table to the back near to a window. Nik seemingly sat alone, though neither he nor his father were ever really alone. They always had eyes watching them, those eyes just happened to be rarely seem. Hidden in the dark corners, buried deep in the shadows. No true eyes, no real forms, but the darkness always held a presence for the demons.

The bar that had gone silent as the woman rushed through, now had returned to it’s idly buzz. Nikolaos’s eyes were trained upon the window, watching the humans scurry about. Despites “laws” in Seattle a cigarette was at Nik’s lips and a tall glass of amber liquor rested next to a wineglass with blood red contents half finished inside of it.

Rain was not something of which Slade was terribly fond; flame and water had never survived in any sort of harmony and it was unlikely that they ever would. Of course, she wasn't one of those stupid little humans to get caught in the downpour, left rushing about looking like some sort of drowned rat. No, the ability to adapt was one possessed by Slade, one that she prided herself on having. When she'd stepped out, she'd easily deployed an umbrella, the black dome-like device protecting that costly suit she wore from any of the unwanted substance.

Tonight, she had decided, was one meant for play. She'd behaved so well as of late and it was truly a sad thing. Save for the run-in with the arrogant vamp a few nights prior - the one for which she still mourned a now ruined pair of Chanel pumps - she hadn't truly found anyone she found even mildly amusing. All of them here put up such strong fronts, had such big mouths but crumbled so easily when pushed. The men here were especially weak - such pretty little words they liked to toss in her direction thinking themselves to be so charming, so witty and oh how she should count herself lucky that they had such words for her. None had been able to entice her to even try and find their breaking point, all had been so painfully obvious with their spinelessness. Humans and their pithy existences....how tiring it must be to always linger near the bottom of the food chain.

A brief stop at her condo allowed her a few moments to change clothes. Wardrobe it seemed, more than anything, drew one human to another and though she had no desire to toy with such a pathetic race, one must take whatever amusement they could find sometimes. Perhaps there was one amongst the hundreds of thousands that wouldn't leave her painfully bored....though she seriously doubted it.

The rain was pouring again by the time she set out for the Alibi Room. It looked promising and the location was quite handy what with it being close to the Towers and all. The tiring attempts of the cabbie who drove her tonight to flirt, to gain her attention went unnoticed. He smelled of car cleaner, cigarettes and old Chinese food. Must all humans be so dreadfully boring?

Slade stepped from the cab, the water splashing up over her shoes as she ducked inside the Alibi Room. Turning over her coat and umbrella to the coat room, she brushed a few stray raindrops from her skin and made her way downstairs, where the faint smell of delicious nicotine drifted upwards mingled with a scent of all that was alcoholic.

Pale eyes fixed on the bartender as she slid onto a stool, crossing her legs and hooking one lethal looking pump over the bars of her seat. She motioned him over with one slender finger and placed her order for a top shelf martini, very dry, shaken, smirking coldly as she watched him scurry to fill it. Like Nik who sat nearby, she paid little mind to the smoking laws. Silly humans, would they never learn? They were all going to die anyway, what did it matter the cause? She slid a cigarette between her lips and lit up, exhaling a cloud of smoke overhead. The female bartender glanced up, met a cold stare that challenged her to give warning about the legality of Slade's cigarettes.

It was only after her drink had arrived, paired wonderfully with her smoke - which drew such stares - that Slade truly began to take in the crowd around her. There were a few vampires, what smelled like a fae or two, a were in the corner holding court with a number of little humans, but it was the scent, the feel of a certain nearby demon that gave her cause to glance over. For once, it felt as if she might have an equal out on the prowl. Not that he would think so, of course, her gender was always seen as a second tier. Perhaps male demons simply hadn't seen how brutal their counterparts could be just yet - often it was the women who had back so little, or so Slade had experienced. With all of this to take into consideration, perhaps tonight wouldn't be so dull after all.

Women were creatures far better when they were pushed. It wasn't a matter of believing them less lethal, Nik knew well just how deadly they could be. But that changed little in demon society. While women within his blood could be respected never were they leaders. They were mates, mothers, killers, but would never hold the top rung within the families power base. But it was the cunning woman that knew how to play from that sideline that pleased Nik. The ones that didn't have to hold all the power to still be able to sway. Manipulative little bitches....such a thing was spoken as a compliment when it came to Nik.

The weak never truly gained anything from Nik, be it women or men he stepped upon them and watched as they squirmed beneath his boot. Some found thrill in toying with those sorts only. Basing their entire belief of strength off of the backs of those that never stood chance. All it did was prove them cowardly. Oh that wasn't to say that Nik didn't play, after all the world was filled with so many pathetic souls it was difficult to deny indulging in that urge to show them how weak their were. But if that was all you had to your name then you had nothing at all.

It was power that drew Nik. One that took time to break, to push, to make crumble to their knees.

For Nik it was only demonesses that stood chance of really drawing his eye. All other races were lower, less then worthy. A fact that his father truly needed to remember. Among his family there was no mixing of the blood with other weaker races, there would be no diluting the power by some pathetic fae line that could not even stand hells depths. Such races were simply toys, played with until their bodies gave out and then cast to the side. Many demonesses were even such to Nik, those surface born that did not fathom the pain capable of being found within hell.

He sensed the other demon as she walked in and yet he did not let his eyes travel her way yet. No, it wasn't always about sight but the other senses. Often you could tell those that had hells touch upon them. Could at times catch the lingering trace of blood upon their skin even if it had been washed away long ago.

Fire…he knew that much. Fire was never a worry for him; he didn’t mind a good burn. Shadow demon yes, but Nik had a high tolerance for all forms of elements. Trained from before his first step to be able to handle far more then most.

The drink before him was downed, a quick swallow of less then potent liquor before he turned his head to catch her lingering gaze. A subtle smirk curled his lips, confirmation to the thoughts all demons had. All true demons at least.

Play.

It made him curious if all those in the bar now understood just how…turbulent things could become. A few had caught the scent, that faint shift of energy. A were or two had decided to leave. But the humans, those pathetic blind little creatures, had no clue.

It seemed the two would be able to agree on one thing, if nothing else: women most definitely showed their true colors when pushed. It was in those moments when those graceful spine either revealed themselves to be wrapped in steel or crumbled like dust against the stress put upon them. It was a woman's place on the hierarchy of demons that they would never agree on.

Slade could never see herself as a second-class citizen - if anything, she often thought of women as stronger than men, saw them as a sex that easily bypassed what she saw as the true weaker gender.

The room was suddenly filled with the two demons and the power shift was tangible. Well, perhaps not to silly little humans. They might be lucky enough to sense a sort of tension now thick in the air, but it was only a portion of the supernaturals present that now understood the possibilities of where things might go from here. If only they'd had an idea of what the two demons and their ideas of 'play' truly were...then they all might have left. As it was, only a few did. A few of the others, like the were holed up in the corner, glanced warily between the two, ready to make their escape should the need arise.

One slender finger crooked again, a perfectly manicured beckoning close her little bartender once more. He leaned in to hear whatever it was that she whispered, a slight incline of her head in Nik's general direction. There was a nod of understanding and, before long, a fresh drink would arrive on the table before him. This one had an added little pleasure, a bit of fae blood mixed in. They might have been a pathetic, easily crushed race but damn if they weren't tasty. Usually pretty little things too, but she supposed every being had their advantages...some were merely more useful than others.

After a few moments she unhooked those lethal heels from her barstool and slid off with a fluid grace, one foot in front of the other as she crossed to where Nikoloas resided. She could sense the pull of the shadows as she neared him, the strength that was often so ease to sense in those like them. "Enjoying your drink?" she inquired with a teasing little smirk, her own drink still in hand.

Weaker gender, amusing really but far from a fight any would win with Nik. It wasn't really one he sought to bother with either. He knew where he stood and where woman in his bloodline did. Beyond that the ways and beliefs of the world mattered nothing to him. He didn't live by the rules of others; he lived by the rules of his own bloodline and nothing more. It amused him when humans believed all creatures would stay within their lines. That none would challenge or that all that did...could be brought down. So little they knew really....so blind, walking around with arms out crashing into everything.

Amusing...and pathetic...all in one.

Those humans milled about the bar, barely even sensing that subtle shift to the air. But others did, the few sorts that could catch a rise of power. Not all were rushed off at the hint of chaos but others were, young bloods that stood no chance should things escalate. They'd be carelessly tossed aside just as the humans would be. Barely able to put up more of a fight then them.

But it showed they had some brains about them that they left, not wishing to tempt fate. For all they knew nothing at all could happen....or the entire place could explode in destruction. With demons you just never knew did you? Nik was bound in a way however, giving word that he'd not draw too much undo attention.

Thankfully Nik did well at playing from the shadows. Killing, teasing, tempting, without his form being seen at all.

Eyes watched the woman, and then the worker she motioned over. Supernatural blood, one of the few on staff in this human bar. Even if Nik couldn’t sense the blood rushing through the mans veins he'd know he was still. No human worker would be able to get their hands on fae blood in a human bar after all. Not as though they could keep it stocked to the back. But every now and again in a bar you ran across a supernatural that kept a stash buried away. On them or hidden somewhere.

That particular worker got quite the tip from Nik when the drink was brought over. Always good to keep in good graces with those that have helpful ties. Getting a good, spiked, drink above ground wasn't always easy. And the human liquor? It lacked all true burn. Made him long for a good hellbrew.

The worker left, a smirk upon his lips for the wad of cash in his pocket. Nik took a sip, well aware of exactly what was in it. Don’t drink a think you haven’t seen poured. Eyes everywhere helped in ensuring nothing was amiss.

When the demoness arrived Nik’s lips curled about the edges, a wicked yet charming sort of smile that spoke everything and nothing all in one. “Needs more fae and less of this attempt at liquor.” Nik retorted “But appreciated all the same.” One only had so much to work with when buying a drink for another here on the surface.

And for that drink, or so it might seem, the chair to before him was kicked out. Though it was more for her tempting form then for the drink that he had any inclination to let her linger.

Since her relocation to Seattle, the Alibi Room had become one of Slade's favorite haunts - her little 'friend' behind the bar played a large role in earning the bar her favortism. A sniff or two her first night there and she'd been able to sense that he wasn't just another weak human. A mage of the flame - perhaps that was why she tolerated him - who could amaze those silly little humans with his tricks. Everyone who was privy to his show simply thought him to be skilled with a lighter, an impeccable bartender. If only they had known the truth.

Of course above his natural gifts with fire, he also had access to quite the spread of supernatural yummies. It was a given now that any drink she purchased, unless specified, should be spiked with fae blood. Though she wasn't hellborn like Nik, human alcohol had little effect on her. There were few brands that were strong enough to truly worth her time, but fae blood went a long way in improving both the taste and effect. It paid to have friends with both access and means for moments exactly like this one.

She hadn't bothered to hide her gaze and its obvious path following the bartender as he delivered the drink to Nikolaos' table. Surely her fellow demon would enjoy a little concoction sweetened with such pure, innocent blood. Judging by his reaction, she was correct.

"Something we agree on, then." More blood, less liquor...sounded like a pleasant mixture and much more her style. It seemed that was another thing the pair could agree on. Perhaps he could make use of her little mixing friend behind the bar - sometimes contacts could be shared.

The edges of her lips curled up just slightly as the chair was kicked out before her. Well, that was certainly an offer she couldn't refuse. Slade took a seat across from him, sliding one leg over the other as she settled in, drink settling on the table before her.

"You seem to be one of the few people in this place that could appreciate such a....'unique' cocktail," she smirked coldly. Petty little humans, they had no idea how tasty the blood of faes could be.

As of yet Nik had no location that he happened to linger around more then others. Not unless you counted the underground as a whole. It was likely no surprise why the demon enjoyed those depths. No rules, and no light, a perfect playground in which for him to indulge in. But even down below he had to...hold back a bit. Word could spread quickly...especially below ground...and they didn't want dear Dorian knowing that they were here for him quite yet. No the game had just gotten started, would be a pity for him to try to end it so early.

Even though Nik wanted to end it quickly...by snapping the others neck.

So far this location above ground was proving to be quite...promising. Dark corners in which to tempt and tease mortal bodies that could break so easily beneath his grip. enough supernaturals working that spiked drinks could be obtained for a deeper price. And demonesses such as this one showing...that only sweetened the deal.

Much like the fae blood now gliding over his tongue, though sweet in an altogether different way. There was nothing sweet about the woman walking over to him...and that was exactly how Nik liked it. Tough, rough, cruel as hell. Demure was for the other races, coy never worked well with a demon.

"I thought we might." Nik remarked, savoring the hint of blood among the mix that gave it just the slightest shine of red. That sweet blood always tasted better coming from the source. Lapping it up off of that dust covered flesh as the pretty little fae shivered and shook.

"Appreciate...and crave more... you'd be correct in your guess." not much of a guess for another demon. One look at Nik's eyes and it was quite obvious what he craved...when he allowed it to be at least. He could play the good natured charmer when there was a need. But tonight wasn't such a night.

“I think we both could appreciate something a bit more…fresh however.” Fae’s were rare yes, but not that difficult to find. Deep in the forests or at times at the most charged of raves where their dust really was savored and the light flashed and drew them in like moths to a flame. Such events held an energy some fae seemed to crave. Making them step away from nature…

Why mix blood in your liquor when you could mix liquor in your blood…

The Underground had quickly become a favorite playground for Slade as well - it truly was the perfect place for a demon. It seemed many of the activities that were offered beneath the surface were catered to their most prevalent desires, freely available for them to gorge themselves on whatever it was they sought.

As much fun as it was to so blatantly feed her desires, Slade enjoyed a bit more covert manipulation at times. If one had to be surrounded by petty humans at nearly every turn, then surely one couldn't be blamed for turning them into entertainment? She rather enjoyed toying with their sad little lives, twisting them around into something that better suited her own needs. She couldn't be blamed if they were simply too stupid to know when they were being used.

The Alibi Room provided the ideal place for her to indulge and, while it was no underground, it was entertaining enough for now. It would do if there was nothing else. Tonight, though, it seemed she might be lucky enough to have the chance for something better than acting as God over such lowly little beings. Nikolaos seemed to fit every ideal of a playmate, perhaps between the two they could find a more entertaining way to spend their evening. It seemed they already agreed on a few key things....fae blood being one.

"It isn't too hard to come by in this town, luckily," Slade smirked, pausing long enough for a drink from the glass that sat before her, "one of the few good things about it." It wouldn't take much effort to find a willing source she was sure. Silly little faes.

"Fresh is really the only way to enjoy it." And wasn't that the truth. It was tasty in liquor, but straight from the vein was the only real way to savor such a sweet substance. From the corner of her peripheral she could sense a little fae, one who was playing at brave for the night, watching Nik with thinly veiled interest. "You might have willing source," Slade nodded towards the little girl at the end of the bar.

The underground was a fitting enough location for some truer demon play, Nik couldn't really deny that. It didn't quite live up to hell of course, but he managed to make do with what was offered to him. At least here there was a bit more...variety in those played with. In hell unless one was a race tied into fire...they weren't making it down into those depths and even then so few could stand the beautiful screams of the dead. Even sad little earth born demons came into hell and couldn't quite take their echoing cries.

Nik had forced more then one to listen. Dragging them down into the depths were ones own mind could get lost among them. Chaining the demon there to listen to their song. A day...and hour...madness always claimed them eventually. A lesson in the ways of hell.

Things were rather vastly different here on the surface. But manipulation was a trait that was useful in both worlds. Manipulation was a talent that Nik was well trained in. Humans, supernaturals, he knew how to work them all like puppets. Humans for as weak and utterly pathetic as they were, did have their uses. Some were ever so eager to be used as well...So why deny them? Would be cruel to do so wouldn't it?

This place worked for some art in manipulation. But it wasn't...quite big enough to really get ones claws into another. Smaller spaces lead to more eyes looking and even if you were good at what you did, so many bearing witness could complicate matters. It distracted those hard to focus little human minds. Careful...it wasn't often fun but Nik was capable of it.

"Depends on where you go and what you are looking for." faes weren't overly popular. But if any supernautral would do...well then you had your pick of playmates for the night...many of which wouldn't be able to put up a fight for long. Nik happened to be a fan of the werecreatures...so feisty.

"Then why settle for just a taste?" he questioned with a smirk quite obviously curling his lips. No Nik didn't "settle". If he wanted, he had, no matter what he had to do to ensure that pure fact. "Lucky for you I'm in a...sharing mood tonight." and he did so love to a woman play with another. What man didn't?

"Might..." a brow arched and a laugh nearly slithered past his lips. "There is no might in that equation." arrogance, yes. Cockiness, of course. But with due reason. That little fae would crumble without him even trying.

In fact….Nik downed his drink and pushed to his feet, walking over to the pretty little thing right now. Of course her foolish little mind got all in a flutter when she thought the demon picked her over the other woman. She even happened to give brief glance back in a nearly amused ha sort of fashion.

Brainless creature she was. She was all smiles and laughter as Nik so charmingly invited her out of the club. If the demoness was smart she’d know she was more then welcomed to follow after for some play. If not…well Nik already for certain had some activity tonight.

So either way he was going to taste blood now wasn’t he?

"I suppose I could be convinced to share..." It was never as much fun as keeping something all to yourself, but there was something to be said for great minds thinking alike. She and Nik's desires for the evening seemed to be along the same lines, always a good sign in a potential playmate for the evening.

"Touche," she muttered with a wickedly arched brow as Nik stood with such assurance, crossing the bar to the waif-like little fae that had watched, all but drooling, from the bar. She seemed so content, so smug with his 'choice' that Slade couldn't help but roll her eyes. Stupid little insect, if they didn't taste so damn good she'd have no tolerance for them.

The invitation to follow her new little demon friend and his fae treat didn't need to be verbalized, it hung obviously between them. Raising her martini to her lips she took a moment to finish it off, licking the gloss of liquor from her lips. Pushing away from the booth she tossed down a few bills to cover whatever tab they might have run, grabbing her coat from the attendant on her way out.

It had stopped raining, thankfully, but there was still a noticeable chill in the air. It seemed to have that tiny little fae leaning into Nik for warmth, a fact the demoness following them found all too amusing. If only the pithy little creature had any idea what was in store for her. Yet again, a reason to smirk in amusement. Hopefully she'd be one of those that played at being brave, they were always the most fun to watch shatter in your hand.

Before the little plaything could realize that an entirely different choice had been made all together, Slade was there on her right, sliding an arm around her slender waist to trap her securely between she and Nik - oh what a place to be. "Three is always more fun than two," she caught the demon's eyes over the little fae's head, smirking, "don't you agree?"

Not everyone was a treat to share with but Nik certainly knew how to make a game interesting. But he wasn’t the sort to play with just anyone at his side and he wasn’t the sort that bothered to do any convincing on the subject. His own presence was clear enough indication that it would be worth her time to see just what he could do. Though he really was a bit limited with the particular pet of choice tonight. Faes could only take so much damage and Nik was trained to torture and break demons. Compared to them a fae was nothing.

Assurance, confidence, he had no reason to lack either. In this situation or others truly. The fae had all but thrown herself at him. Did she have such little consideration for her life? Or was she truly so foolish as to think that she’d not have any trouble at all with the demon? If so she was more naïve then he had already believed her to be. Every pretty little fae should be a bit weary of the big bad wolf stalking them.

This one simply didn’t seem to care and so why not indulge in that? Consume…take…devour what she so offered.

Nik moved her out of the bar and though her steps were quick, eager to get them moving, Nik kept his stride rather relaxed. He’d hate to lose the demoness so soon in the game after all. But he would have far preferred to get the fae to a secluded spot before the demoness jumped in to play. After all here and now the fae could still squirm away and run and taking up chase in the middle of a street really wasn’t the wisest of choices.

Either the demoness believed she’d read the fae well enough to think she’d not flee…or simply didn’t care.

Whatever the case was it was only Nik’s claws digging into the pretty things hips that kept her from bolting outright when suddenly it was two demons she was dealing with rather then one. Nik was nothing if not resourceful and he could mend even this…issue…that had come about. The surprise was now a bit lost…but he was sure it could be made up.

The little thing whimpered slightly and Nik leaned in, whispering like a lovers caress in her ear. “Scream and I’ll rip your fragile little hip bone straight out of you.” That might seem quite a task but Nik was more then capable of getting his claws in that deep quicker then she could blink. The little thing shivered and pathetically nodded her head.

Stupid little twit of a fae. But always it did work in his favor when they had no real sense at all.

“Almost always..” Nik bemused with a faint slither and a flick of the forked tongue against his lips. Not everyone was such a joy to play with after all. Some were greedy, some killed far too soon, some simply had no idea at all what they were doing. But when you had a fun little thing at your side…Nik always did prefer to share that spray of blood and pretty cries.

With the fae secure between them Nik moved them, keeping to the shadows till a rather run down little nook was found. Once a building but the small space was run down. But it was vacant, it had no eyes to see, and few came down the alleyway that lead towards it.

And any that did would not be blocked by the shadows themselves.

Slade was perfectly confident in the ability of both she and Nikolaos to keep a hold on that pretty little fae of his. Surely between two demons so determined for a bit of entertainment they could ensure a slippery little thing didn't slide through their fingers. She'd make sure to keep a firm grip and those sweet nothings she could hear her fellow demon whispering into the little fae's ear assured her he would do the same.

They drew no attention from those around them - not that anyone could have stopped what was surely about to take place - even as the trio wove their way towards the deserted little space Nik set his eyes on. For all intents and purposes it was the perfect setting for the fun they were about to indulge in.

Slade stepped up to pull open what remained of the door, holding it open as she watched her playmates bypass her to set foot inside. It probably wasn't exactly what the little fae had in mind for the setting behind her evening, but she'd learn to quickly adapt - when playing with one demon (let alone two) it was really the only choice to even attempt to survive the night. Testing that ability was a favored past time of Slade's - she couldn't wait to see just how long their little toy would last before she cracked.

The sad excuse for a door was pulled closed behind the demoness, canceling out what little light had filtered in off of the street. For a moment it was silent save for the sharp click of Slade's stilettos against the floor as she circled that terrified little fae like a lioness eying her prey. Yummy. Who could resist the smell of a tasty little fae? And they screamed so prettily, no other race could truly compare.

That sharp clicking against pavement slowly grew more distance as the demoness distanced herself, not wanting to terrify the poor thing too terribly right off the bat. After all, for some stupid reason, the girl seemed more comfortable with Nik than with Slade. It was harder to tell if those feelings were sorely misplaced just yet or if her choice truly was the kinder of the two - not that that was saying much.

It wasn’t a matter of keeping hold of the fae, obviously claws to the flesh kept anyone from tugging away. But ensuring not a peep was made? That was another matter all together. Even Nikolaos knew that having a pretty thing screaming at your side and squirming about really wasn’t the most sly way to do things. In truth he had no care at all for the “cops” of this world. But he had given his word to behave, which meant only not to get caught, and he did intend to hold to such words. Lucky for them that the fae was a complete moron. Which really only proved that she was going to die all too quickly and not be near as much fun as Nikolaos wanted. But the demon at his side would simply have to make it up to him. He was sure she wouldn’t mind some of that attention turned her way after the fae was dead and gone.

It was the shadows more then anything that kept eyes away from them. Shadows that slowly crept over them and shrouded them from sight. But in the shadows you could scarcely tell that your own form was so completely hidden. Perhaps if the foolish little fae had, she’d have panicked more. She’d have realized all too quickly that being lost from sight of others was only a clue that she’d be soon lost from sight forever.

But trembling between them her simpering form remained. Tears already starting to brim at the corners of her eyes and her bottom lip shivering. Her steps were shaky, it was the demons at her side that kept her standing. So weak, so pathetic, where was all that arrogant allure now? He wanted to snap her in fucking half.

The faes…ease with the male demon was sorely misplaced. It was Nik’s job in life, in the family, to break people. To mentally and physically tear a person apart bit by bit. To give them pain till there mind completely crumbled to pieces. This fae wouldn’t survive long enough for such play. She looked about ready to have a heart attack as it was. He should have waited, hunted, picked one a bit older, a bit stronger, then this waste of flesh.

But this was the toy they had and Nikolaos was determined to make the most out of her. If anything her blood would make a perfect backdrop to continued play. The demoness circled, around and around and the fae stood, watching or attempting through the darkness that surrounded them. A darkness that he clouded deeper against her eyes to heighten that fear. One demon walked away and another approached. But unlike Slade Nik’s steps had no sound to alert her to his nearing. Instead he was simply suddenly there, tongue tracing against the poor things bare shoulder. Such cold weather and still she wore barely anything, so eager to get herself all that attention…

She wasn’t so eager now, now was she? Her whimper echoed in the enclosed space, making Nik’s lips curl into a smirk. “How long do you think you will last?” he questioned, standing before her with claws digging deep into the flesh of her hips as her body was jerked forward. Already she was biting back a scream. So very…weak. This play was going to have to be rather…basic…or she’d break long before the two demons had even really begun.

Slade, of course, had made no such promise to behave and it was quite easy for a woman with her looks to get away with nearly anything. A screaming fae tied to her side might present a bit of a challenge, but she was all for that. Besides, taking home the prey was half the fun of the hunt. After all, it always had that slim chance for escape before the inevitable kill.

The fae had sorely underestimated her company for the night and, in doing so, now found herself in what was obviously a very dangerous position: trapped in a darkened, abandoned building with two not so very nice demons who were both determined on having a good time. In the faintest of faint light that trickled through a broken window, Slade could see her trembling. From across the room she could almost hear the racing of her tiny little heart, could hear that rapid inhale/exhale rhythm as her mind no doubt spun out of control with 'what ifs.'

No matter what the precious little faes mind could conjure, Slade could almost assure her the reality would be much worse.

As she had no need for a match truly, the flare of light that suddenly lit up the demoness' face as she ignited the end of her cigarette came instead from one slender finger. The fear that she could all but see spring to life in their little toy's eyes brought a cruel smirk to her lips as she took that first initial drag, exhaling a puff of smoke into the already hazy air.

She allowed Nikolaos the first approach, watching as he tugged the little fae so ruthlessly against him, his grip no doubt already bruising her sides. How long would she last? Not long, unfortunately....not as long as Slade would have like for tonight, but here was to making the most of the time they had.

Were Nikolaos free to play as he wished where he wished his time on the surface would likely be quite different. It would very well entail some...dances with the police as it were. Testing just how good they thought themselves to be really. A game that would prove quite entertaining truly. Especially considering jail was not a real outcome for him. A bit difficult to incarcerate a man that can simply return to hell now isn't it? But while ever so tempting...Nik was here on the surface for a reason. And though play did tend to take him over, he couldn't let that true goal slip his mind.

To do so was to let down the family and that Nik never did.

But tonight was not a night about duties or tasks. No tonight was a night far more about play and bloodshed. The pretty pathetic little fae so confused now, so lost in this uncertainty of if she would live or die. Some part of her still held that thought that she could get out of this. A foolish notion that he was not yet going to break.

He drew her near, he breathed in that fear and soon tasted that blood when sharp teeth dragged against the flesh. Her what ifs, her possibly predictions, they paled compared to what she would be put through. There was nothing better then marring pure dust covered flesh. Claws, heat, teeth and blade.

Turns were taken. One played and the other watched and just when it would seem the pretty fae would crumble and snap they would change. Bringing about new pains, a new twist to the game. A contrast that kept her alive longer then she wished, a pleasing show that kept both demons entertained.

Her whimpers quickly turned to cries and those cries became screams soon enough. An echoing mantra of them. She had quite the set of pipes on her. Over and over and over again, most throats would become hoarse and yet though hers bled still she screamed.

Screamed as the flesh was split and blood pooled beneath her. Screamed as clothing was torn away and the two had their fun with their shared pet for the night. No she wouldn't last near long enough but her screams were still rather pleasing. A start to the night...and a reason to share a pet again.

One that would last far longer for the two.
