Okay, so, Tekken 6 arrived yesterday! :D

I wouldn't say I've done a lot on it so far - I'm currently playing around with Scenario Mode, and I've currently completed Arcade Mode with (naturally) Nina, Lili, and Dragunov. Oh, and I've also tried out all the newbies in Practise.

So far, my (very brief) impressions of the new characters:

- Alisa: She's cute, and I really am digging her fighting style. It's definitely unique. It's taking a little bit of getting used to, but I find her easier to play as than, say, Lars. The fact that she speaks Japanese in spite of her being Russian befuddles me, though.
- Bob: I was pleasantly surprised by his style - it's certainly a lot more fun than I expected. He still reminds me of Fat Gaz from Two Pints, though.
- Lars: I like his style a lot more than I thought I would, although I'm not that good with him at the moment. I like his hair.
- Leo: Still not sure if s/he's supposed to be male or female. Ah well, s/he's cute, either way. His/her style is very much like that of Helena from Dead Or Alive - probably the same style, to be honest. I haven't played as him/her much yet, but I probably will be very soon.
- Miguel: Not played as him much, either, but I like his more "brawling" approach to fighting. His stance is very... different, too.
- Zafina: Woah, sexy lady alert. Really cool fighting style, but not easy to learn. Very unpredictable. That, along with her... flexibility, shall we say... reminds me of Voldo from the Soul series.

On the down side: I hate Azazel. I repeat: I. HATE. AZAZEL. Oh my god. Just... ARGH. Seriously, give me Jinpachi-freaking-Mishima over him any day. Just when I thought that final bosses in fighting games couldn't get any damn cheaper, along comes Azazel, here to utterly frustrate and enrage gamers the world over.

I've gotta say, I really am getting sick of the "trend" of fighting games to include serious cheap-asses as final bosses. Now, I'm not saying that they can't be a challenge, but could they at least be a little fairer? I mean, come on!

Playing as Dragunov in one level of Scenario Mode made me LOL, though, when Alisa says something like "Oh, you must be lacking a speech module". XD

Happy Halloween, guys!

Me and Euan haven't really done anything for this year; I've been at work most of the day, and, while we were planning to maybe have a horror-movie fest upon my return home and hang out with Jem, we decided against it because of the time and the fact that Jem is extremely tired. I'm not really in much of a movie mood at the moment, anyway.

Work was alright, though, I went in fancy dress - first time I've done that in a few years - as what can only really be described as a zombie gothic schoolgirl. It was either that or zombie biker chick, but I went with schoolgirl in the end. (I wanted to be a zombie nurse, but didn't want to spend the money on additional costume stuff.) I'll probably have photos up soon.

It was also Hayley's last day today. I'm gonna miss chatting to her during our shifts, but I wish her all the best, and we'll keep in touch via Facebook, anyway.

Anyway, best be off now.

Well, today was my penultimate day at the factory. I've been feeling down about this all week, and I'll probably feel even crapper about it tomorrow. I bought a load of doughnuts to pass around tomorrow, since it'll be my last day there (at least, until they start hiring temps again).

I've heard from more than one person that the reason the factory is getting rid of the temps is because the big European company which owns them has ordered them to do so for some reason or another. >_< Meh.

I'm gonna miss it there.

In other news, I had Jem over for the evening, since she was having a bad day and I'm always there to comfort her when she needs it. <3 We spent a lot of the time talking about sex, for some reason. :P It's been on my mind a lot lately, anyway... don't ask why.
