When he confirmed that he was the person she was looking for-- who knew, really, how many people around here might be missing an arm and a leg?-- Chuck stepped into the room. She looked down at the body parts on the floor, which resembled regular limbs well enough, except that they were made from some sort of metal.
She bent down and picked up the arm, before approaching him with it. He had said that he just needed it to be lined up properly, so she held it a little ways from his shoulder, glancing up at him for confirmation. "Like this?"
With a slight smile, she added, "I've met a person with a fake arm before, but that doesn't make me any kind of expert. Just tell me what you need me to do." He didn't seem very chatty, but that was okay. She was used to filling in the blanks.
