Summary: Tonks cannot get over her cousin's death as easily as some others.

Her eyes were disgustingly swollen. Swollen and red. She hadn't taken care of her appearance in days, let alone bother to morph anything away to make herself look presentable. She honestly didn't give a fuck anymore. Who did she honestly have to impress? An old werewolf who before had never noticed her existence and certainly wouldn't now since he hadn't left his room in days?
Yeah. She thought so. No one. And if Charlie Weasley walked in here giving her grief about still being in her funeral garment a full day later, she'd hex his tiny balls off.
Tonks' currently brunette hair was pulled back in some semblance of a ponytail and her cheeks were tear stained as they had been ever since she had woken up in St. Mungo's to find that Sirius was gone.
A sniffle escaped her. She didn't often cry. She saw it as a sign of weakness, but this was different. She'd lost Sirius twice now. Once when she was a little girl and now, as an adult, after getting him back for such a short period of time, to have him be ripped away from her permanently.
She'd worshiped her cousin as a child, had been heartbroken when he'd been sent to Azkaban, and been relieved when he'd been proven innocent to the Order. Tonks had fantasies of her children growing up with their Uncle Sirius teaching them tricks and the two of them continuing their deep bond.
Now there was a big gaping void in her heart where Sirius was supposed to be.
Tears were her friend and they were going to keep coming until someone could make his being gone bearable for her.
Pushing aside the tray Molly had brought in for her, unable to stomach food, Tonks hugged a pillow close to her, tears filling her eyes even more as she realized that it still smelt like her cousin.
