Week 18: Tuesday Evening

Who: Xander and Jaida
Where: Music Clubroom
When: Tuesday night starting at 8.

The day had been entertaining, he could say that much at the very least. Much to the annoyance of certain members of the female gender, Xander always did like a little variety in his meals. He knew that sooner or later, the school would growl at him for feeding on the other students, but he really didn’t see any other way around things. Sure, he could always go to the clubs and feed off everyone, but that was far more dangerous of the options. And it wasn’t like the school kept bottled lust around like it did for vampires. So, when left with the choice of feeding off students and breaking the rules, or heading into town and risking upsetting older more powerful supernaturals, Xander picked the easier of the two options.

And he made sure he had been well fed for the evening, just so that hunger wouldn’t distract him. After all, he knew just how hot the muse was, as he shared several classes and a club with her. Even then, he knew he was going to get distracted somewhat, but hopefully it wasn’t going to be too bad. If it was, he had only himself to blame in the long run, as he knew what he was getting into. But, with the fact the song stuck in his head just wouldn’t allow itself to be finished, he figured there was no harm in trying. Worst thing that was going to happen was that he would fail with the song, but then that’d happen whether he risked it or not.

So, long before Jaida was actually supposed to meet him there, Xander was in the music clubroom. He had his laptop setup on the side, as well as a microphone. Sometimes the newest software around made things so much easier. This particular bit would create the sheet music for whatever sounds were playing at the time. It made things so much easier, as he wouldn’t have to remember each and every note and rift he did while he was creating and write it down. Or try to write without playing. That was often even more frustrating.

When Jaida did arrive, he was sitting in the back, his guitar across his lap as his fingers worked the strings. His full attention was on his music, as he strummed out a lively little tune. His eyes were closed, and he wasn’t even paying attention to the computer string, or the time. Nor would he even realize that anyone else had entered the room.

Week Seventeen: Tuesday

Who: Jaida and Vivian
Where: The beach
When: Around 9ish

Stupid classes were really starting to get in the way of her social life. Ok, maybe not so much her classes, but the fact that Viv actually seemed to enjoy them definitely ate into fun time. With little else to do, Jaida had managed to drag her sorry ass out of bed and set a pretty good attendance record for the week. It wasn't a habit she was looking to form, but at least it gave her something to pass a few hours of the day with. Thankfully, Viv had sent the note yesterday about meeting up on the beach and she really couldn't have picked a better time. With Heaven and Hell closed for the week, J was utterly and totally convinced she was going to go out of her skull with boredom. Sadly, it was way too chilly at night for her scrawny butt to take a dip, but a few bottles of yummy yummy alcohol would help mend her broken heart at missing out on a swim.

She'd crashed for a few hours since they wouldn't be meeting until late, then crawled out of bed to change clothes. One pair of leopard print leggings, an over-sized black tunic and neon blue belt later and she was nearly ready to go. There was the matter of re-fluffing her ridiculously neon hair, of course, and touching up her make-up for the night. And just because they were meeting on the beach, with sand, didn't mean Jaida planned to forgo her usual sky-high heels. Nope, she simply went with boots, harder for the sand to slip in there. Ha ha. She grabbed a bag and shoved the two bottles of tequila she had inside it, slinging it over a shoulder. So that seemed to be everything....she took a last glance around the room to make sure she hadn't missed anything, then grabbed her keys and locked the door behind her.

When Jaida finally reached the front of the school, she could see a familiar figure outside waiting for her - had to catch a cab to the beach, after all. Pushing out the front door of the school, she hurried over to give Viv's rear a firm smack before she saw it coming. "Hey fuckmuffin, ready to go? The party has officially arrived..." she grinned, tugging her playfully towards a waiting cab.

Week 15: Monday

Who:  Jaida and Sydni
What:  An introduction (About time!)
Where:  On the beach
When:  Late

Sydni had begun to feel claustrophobic in her room.  She'd been so busy with clean up duty and classes she hadn't really been able to go for her walks on the beach as she was wont to do.  So, even though it was late, and she was tired, her homework was done and she headed down to the beach for a walk.

She was worried about Frankie again.  She had cut their AIM convo short rather abruptly, and if Frankie was anything like Sydni, she needed to move when she was upset.  So the fact that she went running didn't make her feel any better.  And, of course, when she started thinking about one thing, everything else started piling on... Charlie, Davia, Justina, Charlie...  God she was stupid.  She knew damn well she had no business falling for him.  And then, she wanted so desperately to be there for Davia, but she didn't know that it would ever happen again.  Not like it had been before.  She still hadn't heard from Justina, too.  She hadn't dared call her, but she wondered how she was.

It was hot, even at night, and Sydni was wearing a dark tank, and short, frayed jean shorts.  Despite that, the heat was making it difficult for her to think clearly.  She contemplated taking a dip, even with her clothes on, but she decided that walking back to the school sopping wet would be no fun.  Instead, she waded in to just about the middle of her calves and walked that way down the beach.  When she couldn't feel her toes anymore, she trudged through the surf to the sandy beach and continued her unplanned journey down the beach.

It was then that she saw another figure on the beach.  As she got closer, she recognized the woman from her Supernatural Races class.  How couldn't she with that amazing hair?  Sydni was a bit jealous of people who could have completely wild hair like that.  She'd always wanted purple streaks, but it just wouldn't have worked for her.  She didn't have the complexion, style, or personality for it.  She wracked her brain for the woman's name, but it just wasn't coming to her.  She continued her path, not really avoiding the approaching figure, but she was open to a meeting tonight.  It couldn't hurt.

Week Thirteen: Saturday

Who: Vinnie and Jaida
When: Saturday night
Where: Heaven and Hell

Ever since Frankie had mentioned that there was a good club in the city, Vinnie had wanted to check it out. Obviously, he had to get through his first week of classes at Halcyon first. He didn’t want his parents getting on his case on his first week there. It took enough time convincing them to let him come here earlier than they wanted so he didn’t wanna do anything to fuck that up. No, he was gonna be good and do all his work and shit and then go out to play on the weekend.

Classes were easy enough, only four of them to worry about now as opposed to the seven he had in high school. Completely different educations but at least this load was easier. Percussion Instruments was up first followed by Fire Use, Magical Weapons and finishing off with Supernatural Fact and Fiction. Percussion was probably his favorite with Magical Weapons coming in at a close second. Vinnie had always wanted to learn how to play drums but because of the sports in high school, he didn’t have time for music class. Then when he got Rock Band for his 360, playing the game’s drums was cool and all but it made him want to learn even more. Who woulda thought that they’d offer music classes at a school for supernaturals? Vinnie sure wouldn’t. He thought he was just gonna be learning about other races and how to perfect his powers. Good thing that wasn’t the case or he’d get bored kinda quick.

His Fire Use class actually made him feel a little better about his abilities too. There were some people in there who couldn’t create fire either. It was nice to know he wasn’t the only one who lacked in that department. None of them carried around lighters like Vinnie did though. He thought that was kinda weird but eh, to each his own. He personally felt defenseless without a lighter on him so that was part of the reason why he always had one handy.

Vinnie wanted to head down to the club on Friday night but because of the full moon, he was stuck inside the school the whole night. No matter though since he had his video games and his sister to entertain him. He spent a good chunk of the night playing Grand Theft Auto, killing nearly every character in the game that crossed his path and doing some incredibly reckless but fun driving. When he wasn’t playing, he’d sit back and rag on Frankie as she was trying to get through the missions. Felt just like the old days again.

When Saturday night rolled around, Vinnie was definitely ready to go out. Since Frankie owed him a drink from their mosquito torching competition, they were gonna head down to the club together. Dressed in dark jeans and a black button down with the sleeves rolled up to his elbow, he arrived at the club with Frankie and handed the bouncer his fake ID. The bouncer looked at the ID for a while and then back at him. Vinnie played it cool and kept talking to his sister until the bouncer handed him back his ID and waved him inside. Whew, close call. Heaven and Hell? Interesting name. Vinnie followed his sister into Heaven first because apparently Hell was a little more hardcore. Who woulda thunk it? Of course, that piqued his interest so after getting the Red Bull and vodka that Frankie owed him, Vinnie went off exploring on his own.

Week 12 - Thursday

Who: Jaida and Peck
Where: Main common room
When: Sometime that night
What: Jaida is bored and taking it out on others. Beware!

Bored, bored....fucking bored, that's what she was. That's what she had been for the entire duration of this crappy ass break. Being stuck at school had been just about the worst thing possible, seeing as most everyone she gave a damn about got to jet for the extended vacay. Sure there was a bit of scattered time with Charlie and that fucking peachy night of drinks with Senor Bitey himself, but Jaida was nearing boredom overload and when that happened, there was nothing left to do but find some way to amuse herself - no matter the cost.

Tonight she'd taken over one of the main common rooms, turned the tv to some random indie flick and proceeded to slouch into a chair until even the drivel on-screen couldn't hold her attention. Maybe it was time to visit her goodie bag...there had to be something in it that would provide even ten minutes of relief from this mind-numbing dullness. Hmmm....tequila, well she'd just set that on the table for now. Ooooh, some coke for later, that was tucked away into the bright purple lace of her bra for safe keeping. Random clothes, a pair of shoes, random CDs, make-up...fuck....A-HA! Ok, so it wasn't some genius way to keep herself from ODing just for some action, but at least it would give her a good laugh or two.

Sliding back into her chair, Jaida slid it over just a bit so that she had a perfect view of the doorway into the main hall. Tearing into the bag of rubber bands that had oh so recently been stuffed into the corner of her bag, she twisted it around until it make a little gun-like fixture on her hand. All she had to do was wait until she heard footsteps, then take aim and let it fly! It took her awhile to get her timing down and oh the poor little freshies that must have suffered for her art. After a while she could hear them coming and fire without ever glancing up from what she was watching, choking back her laughter at the confused cries of pain (and anger) that echoed back to her. Yeah, it was a pretty elementary thing to be doing, but who the fuck cared? At least she wasn't off burning down school property or anything. They should be thankful she could show such initiative!

Ooooh, another pair of footsteps was approaching! Eyes on the screen ahead (cause she was oh-so-innocent), Jaida lined up her aim, just waiting for her unknowing prey to cross in front of the doorway. At just the right time she let loose her little rubber band of doom, finding herself victorious as she head that sharp slap of rubber against skin. Yes! That totally sounded like a ten pointer! She was getting scary good at this.

Week 12: Monday

Who: Henry and Jaida
Where: Hell
When: Monday Night
Why: He's gotta met Viv's conscious.

Henry had spent most of the day deciding just what he was going to do that evening. His little creation seemed to be so fond of this young muse, that he just had to find out what it was about her that held Vivian’s attention so much. He was not quite sure just what he was going to do, other than learn what the girl was about, and if he had to do anything about her. He didn’t think so, but he had been wrong before. Little Jaida just might have too much influence for her own good after all.

He arrived at the club a little early, just so he could sit back and enjoy the scenery. Henry sat off to the side of the bar. He was not too far from the entrance so he could watch for her, but he was also far enough that he could easily be overlooked by most people. Especially one who hadn’t ever met him before. The vampire had a drink in his hands that he sipped at as he watched the crowds begin to fill up. It never ceased to amaze him just the sheer variety of creatures that made their home on the island. Or at the very least, populated the club. He could tell most of the creatures apart, but there were a couple that he couldn’t identify. It was one good point of this island. Even at his age, there was something he could learn as well.

So, Henry continued to sip at his drink, which was another good aspect of this particular club. The drinks worked on vampires without having to be laced with quantities of blood. It had been so long since he had enjoyed some good liquor that he had almost forgotten what mere booze tasted like. But, after a time, he finally did spot his particular target of the evening. Not that she was hard to spot, that particular Muse tended to stand out in a crowd. He watched her for a moment, and waited until she got settled into some spot before he tilted his head back and finished off his glass of vodka. Then he got to his feet and walked over toward where she was.

“Miss Jaida, I presume.” He said with a smile as he held out a hand toward her. “I’m Henry Tanner.”

Week Seven: Thursday

Who: Everyone who received an invite, and their guest (Check Wes' page, if you're not sure about an invite.)
Where: Gun Smoke Tattoo
When: Thursday Night
What: Shop Warming party, and small gig

There was a goal here. After living in Vegas, having been to so many bitchin' parties, your standards for them rose. The normal, punch, and cookies, with a shit ass dj, lurking in some corner, wouldn't cut it here. Hell no. The goal, was to make this party, just as fucking killer, as any party he'd been to in Vegas. To make those parties jealous even. With the help of his friends, and brothers, it seemed as if that was going to happen. All the elements were in place, now it would be down to those in attendance, to make the most of it. Wes was sure of one thing, he was going to have an amazing time, there would be no stopping that.

The Spooks had been a huge help, in their time on the island. While Wes tended to his classes, they took care of setting up for the party. Doing little things here, and there. Anyone who came into the shop after that Monday, would notice that certain things were off. It was all in preparation. Now, it was ready, everything was good. A bar had been constructed against on the walls. Bottles, upon bottles were either stacked beneath it, or on the packing crate shelves they had built last Monday. Wes had been told that there was more than enough liquor... he was starting to question whether it was enough. Also available at the bar, one would find certain goodies upon request. That was one good thing, about knowing drug dealers. They made excellent party guest. Aside from the bar, another sofa had been added to the sitting area, similar to the one all ready occupying the space, but not nearly as detailed.
Let the fun begin. )

Week Six: Friday

Who: ANYONE AND EVERYONE
Where: Heaven
When: Friday Night
What: Charity Date Auction

Eva was something beyond excited. It fluttered about her with nervous energy. If she were out in the open water no doubt there would have been small eddies forming around her in response to the energy she gave off with each and every breath as she hurried about Heaven getting all the last finishing touches done on her crowning achievement. Eva had done her fair share of party planning over the years at Halcyon, she loved being in the mix helping set a mood. And let's face it the girl loved a party... especially a theme party.

But this was something more. It was something that had been entirely her idea. Born of... who the hell knew where but it did put together all her favorite things. Flirting, dating, runway shows, Heaven... the list really could go on. Even in her egotistical glory Eva knew that she couldn't have completed this event without the girls that had volunteered to help out. Taylor, Sam and Frankie had been fantastic, picking up on all the things that Eva was horrible at... you know like the practical aspects of the whole event.

The night had a beach theme as was befitting the charity chosen for the evening and Eva couldn't have been happier. Heaven had been decked out, Vale's assistant proved to be more than helpful at helping her organize the decorations and getting the staff to help out. A runway had been constructed with a podium at the back where Eva planned to do her auctioning from. Tropical plants lined the runway for the dates to strut their stuff along. Eva was almost jealous that she wasn't doing any strutting herself and with the outfit she'd donned for the night... she felt like she could. Perhaps not traditionally beach themed but it was a swimming suit... of sorts and as the auctioneer she thought she needed to glam it up and set herself a part a little.

But when didn't Eva think she needed to set herself a part from the crowd.

Eva exchanged a few last words with the bartenders for the night, making sure that mai tais and other tropical drinks were the order for the night. She wove her way through the tables that had been set up a bit aside from the runway, brightly colored umbrellas over them to add to the theme. She ensured that there was plenty of food ready for people attending and finally she made sure that man at the door was ready to take the $10 dollar cover charge. It was for a charity after all!

Now all she had to do was make sure that the meat er... the dates were ready for their big night!

Week Five: Tuesday

When: Night
Where: Bar in the city
Who: Ray and Jaida

Ray was a lazy ass. There really was no disputing that. If he could con some dumbass into doing his work he was going to do so 99.9% of the time and that .1% only happened when he had some sort of incentive to do something himself. Today that incentive was picking up some shit for himself. Was it any damned surprise that he was out of goods with Manny's freeloading ass yanking pills here and there? Not that he was the only one that happened to get some stuff for free. More then a few hot little numbers around the school got there hands on some too. Course they got their hands on more then that with Ray.

So despite his lazy ways he'd dragged himself out of the school and down to the city after classes. Most were all looking to relax after classes, Ray was all wide awake and ready to enjoy the night. That probably had something to do with sleeping through all his classes. Shit not like he had anything to really learn from inner beast control. He had that shit under better wraps then weres twice his damn age. But it was a "thing" with the school, making students take stuff related to what they were or whatever for that first year to make sure you weren't going to flip out and hurt someone.

Ray was probably more likely to do so not shifted. But ah fucking well.

The cab down to the city was pretty quick and dropped him right off in front of Heaven and Hell. He didn't go around the place all that often. Sure it was a good club and all and the chics down in hell were smoking fucking hot but it was too student infested on the weekend. Got slammed with the teeny boppers OMG lets go into hell and be all risqué! Daring each other to pinch the ass of some guy or whatever. Yeah not really his scene. He was a bit more laid back. Not that he hadn't been dragged into the club more then once.

He followed the familiar path down into hell and met up with the one other guy besides Vale that he could talk business with. It wasn't some long lets see how you are doing sort of conversation. More get to the fucking point and get on with the night. Ray didn't go all hog wild and stalk up like mad. No he got the shit he needed for others and then got some for himself. Simple in and out of the place.

After that there were a few hook ups to see to and then Ray was free for the night. He could go back up to the school, find Manny’s boring ass or something. Could get into some gaming or pranking.

Na fuck it instead he choose to just chill down in the city for awhile. Hit up a bar that he tended to frequent. Get some grub and get some booze. Damn good combination in his opinion. Especially since the bar actually had some damn good steak and fries. Cheap too, which made it all that much better.

And so at the moment that’s where his ass was. Parked at a table in the bar, downing a few shots and finishing up his dinner.

Week Four: Wednesday

Who: Jaida, Wes, and Vivian
Where: Gun Smoke Tattoo
When: Wednesday Night
What: Girls getting inked

They had his attention, the moment he had heard the Indian pull onto the street. The purr of the bike was distinct, and not easily forgotten. If Wes had been a bike man, he'd have an Indian. As it was, he was into classic cars, but sill, he could appreciate a gorgeous bike. With a baseball hat upon his head, a rolling stones t-shirt on his, and a smoking cigar between his fingers, he stood at the Parlor door, watching as the two rode up, and parked out front. He hadn't been expecting the riders to be women, that didn't mean his was disappointed though, far from it. With his brows raised, his hand curled around the door handle, and pushed it open. He nodded to the redhead, then the brunette, before allowing the door to close behind them. "That was sweet of your boyfriend... to let you borrow his bike." Wes grinned for a moment.

"Fuck off. You're real funny... my boyfriends bike." Shaking her head with a laugh, Vivian looked from Wes, to Jaida. "He's hilarious." Giving the man a playful glare once more, she moved into the shop, her dark eyes searching the front room, taking in everything there was to see. The blood red walls were all together too appealing, as was the art which lined it. "You have a very nice place here, Wes, right?" She questioned, and when he nodded, she went on. "This sexy creature, is Jaida, and I'm Vivian. We've come to be your canvas. Or, I have at least." Vivian had two tattoos in mind. Getting just one, wouldn't be enough, and she all ready knew it.

"Ladies... You couldn't be ugly, could you?" He'd had to give a lot of 30% discounts that week. Wes hadn't been expecting so many beautiful women to be on the island. "I can't lie, and say the two of you, aren't good looking, so you'll get the discount." He wasn't about to really complain though. He'd have the image of two straddling the bike in his mind, for the rest of the night... Yeah, he felt like a creepy old demon now. "What did you have in mind? Tonight is empty, so I'm at your disposal. For anything... not just ink, so you know." He had to flirt a bit, he couldn't help it. As Vivian pulled a folded piece of paper from her blue jeans pocket, Wes took a step forward, leaning down to read whatever might be written upon it. "Off, off, eely tentacle. There is nothing between us.... Plath, eh? Harsh words, hating on someone?"

"Very good, I'm impressed. Maybe, a little. It's more a reminder to myself." Words to help remind her, that she belonged to no one, that she was her own person. It felt right that she should have such words cemented upon her skin. Especially everything that had happened recently. "I'd like for it to be on the back of my neck. As for the other..." Her hands fell to the front of her jeans. "Here, just below the underwear line." Vivian was sure he had placed tattoo in stranger places, so surly he wouldn't mind this time around. "You should feel rather special, you'll be the first man to touch my knickers in quite some time." Giving him a wink, she grinned.

He let slip by the slightest laugh, obviously amused by the banter. "I'm glowing with honor." His attention turned to the redhead. "How about you Jaida? Looking to be tortured?"

[info]grey_area

Week Three: Saturday

Who: Grey and Jaida
Where: Heaven and Hell (private room)
When: Saturday evening
What: He can't say no to a pair of legs.

The beginning of every weekend, which started for him on Thursday, had the same conversation. Buddy and/or slave, do we really want to go out? We go to the same fuckin' club every weekend. Yeah, you're right. We ain't gonna do anythin' good here anyway. Birds aren't going to just come to me. Oh ya, they might! har har har

Francis was off somewhere, probably wandered down to Hell. Grey could probably guess at some of the shit he was doing, but didn't want to. He was just fine with his 'vanilla' attempts at fun and sex. He spent very little time thinking about what made Francis tick. As long as he did what was asked, that was good enough for Grey. Well, that and he was easy to manipulate and generally made his life easier.

Right now he was sprawled on a plush couch in one of the smaller private rooms, the music a bit muffled. He'd overdone it on Friday night and was still feeling it to today. Thus far he was taking a lighter time with drinking and saving his sole personal joint for later. There had been a few deals and some cash resting nicely in his pocket. Grey let his legs ease out under the glass-top coffee table and looked out through the two-way mirror to the floor below, watching as people mingled by.

His associate, not actually a friend, was some bland man whose name started with a J (and thought it meant they were friends because that's all Grey called him) was blathering on about something. Cars. Grey grunted. He somehow knew a lot of people, liked to spread the word around. Probably thought that'd get him a discount. Those didn't exist with Grey, if you were paying less money he was going to take his price from you in some other way.

"J, man, check out that broad." Her hair had initially caught his attention in a not wholly positive way. But even he couldn't deny the way her sparkling blue dress hugged her. It was kind of warm in the private room, he'd discarded his jacket, she'd probably take that awful zebra thing off. Regardless of what he thought of that, she had on those high heels he liked. Grey really liked a woman who got really prettied up. He'd even gone goth a couple of times for the right girl, although slowly tried to ease them away from the white makeup or whatnot.

"See if y'can get her up here. We need some broads, bro." This J character was probably over 50 but liked to talk like he belonged in a bad surfer movie. At any rate, it worked, because he agreed and left without being too annoying. Grey sat in his dark jeans, smirking a little as he made his way out of the room. If he came back with the girl, he'd have to point out the room's occupacy limit was 2. At least while Grey was there.

Week One: Saturday, April 6th, 2007

Who: Charlie and Ada (and anyone else who wants to join!)
When: Saturday night
Where: Heaven

Charlie was a bit disappointed that he and Ada were sent upstairs to perform. Their shit apparently wasn't 'hard' enough to earn them a billing in the basement (which was where the better party was clearly located). Eh, he still planned to head downstairs later. Hell was a far better venue, and he'd take it over Heaven any day (unless we're talking about the REAL heaven and hell, because then he would much rather ascend). Regardless, he, Ada and Suoh would rock out and give the kids a good show.

He was excited and a little nervous about performing tonight. It hadn't been that long since his last gig, but that last performance with Torque was the night he met Val and became a vampire. He couldn't get the bitey bitch out of his thoughts as he and and the others did a mini sound check just before the show. They'd not had much practice, but Charlie was confident they'd play great. He'd learned all of Ada's songs, and she'd learned his. And Suoh, a crazy ass Japanese man who didn't seem to speak much English, was some sort of musical savant. That fucker picked up all the songs in a matter of hours!

They were going to play a set of six tonight. Three of Ada's songs (Gunpowder and Lead, Kerosene, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), and three of Charlie's (Stay Another Night, Vice, and In The City). It hadn't been hard at all to pick the songs. Clearly, Ada was still bitter about the douche she was rebounding from, because her song choices were filled with all sorts of just-got-dumped anger. Charlie felt they would get the audience geared up. Ada's songs had that country flavor, but they had a hardness and rawness that got his attention, and he was sure others would enjoy as well. Charlie's music was straight rock, and he planned to actually sing lead on them. Back home, he left most of the singing to Lewis, but Charlie had a good voice, and the songs were more geared to a man's sound. Besides, he wrote the fucking songs, he should be singing them! Hopefully, it would help him score some quality tail after the performance.

Just before going on stage, Charlie did two quick lines of blow. He wanted a bit more, but he couldn't afford to lose his head. He was worried Val was in the audience, and if he saw her, he planned to give her a piece of his mind. Fuck the whole 'not hitting women' thing. That really only applied to ladies, and Val was no lady! The Bitey Bitch needed to get her ass handed to her, and Charlie felt up to the task.

But, he tried to put thoughts of her aside as he looked to Ada and Suoh. With a nod, Suoh counted them in, and soon enough, Charlie and Ada joined in on guitar and bass. The sound was good, really good. Amazing that three people with such limited experience playing together could rock out like that, but they did, and Charlie felt all his problems melt away. As the three played their intros... Ada addressed the crowd, giving credit where credit was due, to the man who done her wrong, "This song's for any of you girls out there who've ever been mistreated by a man..." And so it began. The girl had serious chops, and she owned the stage when she was on it. She wasn't the most stunning woman upon first glance, but it was hard to take your eyes off her when she performed. Charlie joined in as backup, and it wasn't long until the crowd started to get into it.

Week One: Thursday

When: Early Night
Where: Commons room
Who: Ray and Jaida

Some good pranking was had earlier in the week but like a smart little puppy Ray had laid low afterwards. No need to go sticking his neck out and give the guards something to grab hold of and blame all the shit on. No thanks, Ray was a brighter bulb then that. He knew how to stay out of sight and out of mind…and often watched from that distance all the shit as it went down. Hell it was days later and some people were still just running into their pranks, damn priceless. Yeah if you were walking around and had something happen and heard snickering in the background…it was probably Ray. Hey not his fault the shit was funny.

Laying low was pretty easy for Ray. Pop some pills and just chill out. Which meant quite a bit of being a lazy ass and sleeping through the days. He managed to get up for a few of the classes though. Sort of went against that keeping eyes off him thing if he started skipping classes all the time. Not that he really minded his guide teacher getting on him about that one…she was damn fine. Course she looked like she was of the damned ice cube variety that didn’t matter when it came to tits and ass.

Just because he went to class didn’t mean he was actually awake for them though. Ray had perfected the art of looking like he was awake when he was really fast asleep. Yeah sort of creepy to sleep with your eyes open like that but it was handy in school and pretty damned handy in jail actually. Most of the time bitches weren’t going to screw with you when you were looking right at them. Course Ray went into the place and right off the bat kicked some dudes ass. Best way to keep yourself in the clear, show from day one you aren’t any bitch.

That didn’t matter much once he was thrown into the cells alone but hey, worked for a bit.

It was after classes now and Ray had already taken his time raiding the cafeteria for some after class munchies. It looked like he was feeding an army of 10 with how much food he snatched up but no it was all for Ray. After a few joints he could eat a person out of house and home. He didn’t even leave all that crap to the cafeteria, hell no. He snatched up a bunch and shoved it into his bag. No books in their but plenty of food and goodies…the priorities in school life.

His plan had been to go on up to his room and chill out for awhile but the place was too damned quite and the tv wasn’t near big enough there. No when he got into that time to game mode it was big screen only or no screen at all. Lucky for Ray it took him all of two seconds to unhook systems and get them ready to go…the things you learn when you’re a thief on the streets eh? Handy dandy.

Two bags now were with Ray as he moved on through the halls looking for the perfect commons room. Which generally meant the one with the most people in it that he’d be virtually kicking the fuck out to take over the TV and spread himself out for some hours worth of game time.

About all of ten minutes after Ray landed himself a commons room there was a horde of students grumbling as they walked out and shuffled down the halls. Except the few that wanted to watch but yeah they never lasted long, Ray didn’t share unless he knew the pansy could keep up with him in a game. Like he was going to lag behind for some newbie. Nope, not unless he was getting something out of it.

Food was all but scattered on the coffee table and Ray had made himself right at home. Feet up on the table, bags and cords tossed around the room, and the sound up hella fucking loud. For the moment it was shooting noises and whirls from Halo echoing down the corridors around the room.
