Week Seven: Thursday
Who: Everyone who received an invite, and their guest (Check Wes' page, if you're not sure about an invite.)
Where: Gun Smoke Tattoo
When: Thursday Night
What: Shop Warming party, and small gig

There was a goal here. After living in Vegas, having been to so many bitchin' parties, your standards for them rose. The normal, punch, and cookies, with a shit ass dj, lurking in some corner, wouldn't cut it here. Hell no. The goal, was to make this party, just as fucking killer, as any party he'd been to in Vegas. To make those parties jealous even. With the help of his friends, and brothers, it seemed as if that was going to happen. All the elements were in place, now it would be down to those in attendance, to make the most of it. Wes was sure of one thing, he was going to have an amazing time, there would be no stopping that.

The Spooks had been a huge help, in their time on the island. While Wes tended to his classes, they took care of setting up for the party. Doing little things here, and there. Anyone who came into the shop after that Monday, would notice that certain things were off. It was all in preparation. Now, it was ready, everything was good. A bar had been constructed against on the walls. Bottles, upon bottles were either stacked beneath it, or on the packing crate shelves they had built last Monday. Wes had been told that there was more than enough liquor... he was starting to question whether it was enough. Also available at the bar, one would find certain goodies upon request. That was one good thing, about knowing drug dealers. They made excellent party guest. Aside from the bar, another sofa had been added to the sitting area, similar to the one all ready occupying the space, but not nearly as detailed.

The white shop lights had been replaced, by... fuck, Wes didn't know. It seemed Thom had sent up some type of proper club lighting shit. Said it would add to their performance. Whatever, the kid knew better than he did. Signs had been posted on the two back rooms. Should any sex happen, he expected those getting down, to be good guest, and clean up after themselves. He could be a real jerk, and say those rooms were off limits, but he didn't think sex in the main parlor was the best idea. Well, some people might not want to witness it.

Alex had overhauled his sound system, prepared to play a wide assortment of music, for when the Spooks weren't entertaining everyone. Yeah, they were going to play, but they had no intention of spending the entire night doing so. There was fun to be had, and no way in hell, that they would be missing it. Hell, if Wes weren't expecting to be drunk, he might even do a tattoo, or two. But, as it was, that was a not part of the nights events.

It wasn't long after sunset, that people began to pour in. Most of whom were friends of his, and the brothers, that didn't happen to be students. It would have been far too weird, with only students there. But, he wasn't about to invite teachers, especially when they likely wouldn't like what was going on. "Um, are we just gonna play the set we've been working over this week?" He asked his brothers, and Rufus. Well all seemed to be in agreement, he nodded. "All right, let's do this shit." Better to have people coming into chaos, rather than standing around, wondering when shit would kick off.

Hector kicked off the drum beat, followed shortly there after by Alex, and Rufus on their guitars. Considering how quiet, and unanimated he normally was, it was a bit surprising to see Wes completely let go, as they began the song. The music was strange, and it became obvious why the sound system was needed. There were so many elements to the music, which their instruments would not take on, and create. As he sang, Wes moved through the crowd of people, stopping ever so often, to encourage dancing, and general craziness.

Cat had promised to lend her expertise to some worthy party food and so she'd spent the day putting together a few things that seemed party appropriate. A few of them were quick and simple: tortilla chips with homemade salsa and her very kick-ass guacamole recipe - both treats that always went well with a drink or two - and a tray of fresh fruits and veggies with their own respective dips. Other treats that she'd whipped up had required a bit more effort, like the batch of various types of baklava for Wes and his brothers especially, all wonderfully gooey and sweet just the way it should be. Party food needed to be quick and easy to pick up and if it was mess free, that was even better! Cat strayed away from the all-too-easy menu of cold cut sandwiches and opted instead for steak and vegetable kabobs grilled out before she'd headed over to the shop and a variety of sushi that she'd hand-rolled that morning as well. All in all, it was an impressive spread.

Thankfully Wes had volunteered his services to help her transport all the goodies she'd cooked up, otherwise it might have taken more than just a few trips to allow her to get it all loaded, set-up and then unloaded once again. With his help, things went rather quickly and it didn't take them long to set up all her snacks in the shop. By the time everyone arrived that night, the food and drinks would already be waiting - always a good move in the party world.

Once all the food was set up, Cat headed back to her room at the school to get ready. It had taken awhile to find something in her closet that had seemed appropriate; finally she settled in a black lace wrap dress, one that definitely required nice undergarments (since everyone could see them!) and had an extremely noticeable slit up the front which allowed an expansive glimpse of thigh. Wes seemed to be quite the fan of her boots and so she was sure to pull on a pair of knee-high maroon ones for the night's festivities. She pulled her hair back into a simple ponytail, leaving a few strands to frame her face and quickly applied her make-up and donned a few pieces of jewelry for the night.

When she made it back for the actual festivities, things were already in full swing. The shop had been transformed and clearly everything was going over smashingly. The band was already playing and the music filled the shop, making it pulse with life. Something told her tonight wouldn't be an evening easily forgotten.

Playing was nice, and all, but she had been distracting him, since she came into the shop. He couldn't tolerate that, not for a minute. So, once they took a break from there first set, and the sound system took over, he decided that something had to be done about this distraction thing. It seemed his brother knew exactly what he was up to, considering they began to taunt him, as he stalked off. After giving them all the one fingered solute, he approached her. "You know, if I don't play well tonight, I'm blaming you."

Wes wrapped his arms around her waist, his hands sliding over the sheer fabric, which rested over her stomach. "That dress is far too distracting, so you might need to stay out of sight, for the rest of the night." He was teasing, but his tone never shifted. "I know just the place too, there is a nice big bed you can occupy... we can occupy." He gave her cheek a little peck, before his arms fell from her form. "You look foxy." As he faced her, he gave her the smallest smirk, obviously pleased with her outfit, and that she had worn it for him. Well, of course she had, hadn't she?

Ever the touchy feely sort, his hands settled on her hips once more, before he settled his lips to the corner of her mouth. "I like the boots too." Wes was imagining the outfit, crumpled on the floor of the back room. It was a good outfit, no doubting that. Though, it was making him consider having the rest of the party, run off the sound system only, so that he might drag her into the back room. Nah, not yet, he had to have some patience.

She'd assumed that Wes would be a talented mustician, that his band would be the kind to get a crowd riled up in the best way possible. Standing there listening to their music pour from the soundsystem that had been amped up for the night, Cat could see that she wasn't wrong. Everyone that had already gathered in the shop seemed completey into the group 'on-stage' in front of them and getting the chance to watch Wes let loose like that..well, she could admit it was hot to witness.

She lost him in the crowd for a moment as he stepped from stage, alerted by his presence as a pair of increasingly familiar arms slipped around her waist, his palms sliding over her stomach. "Are you trying to get me into bed already?" she teased with a grin, leaning into his embrace for a moment, "Because if so, there are no complaints here." All he needed to do was point her in the direction of that nice, big bed and Cat was positive they'd figure out how to best put it to use.

He shifted around to stand before her, hands resting on her hips and Cat playfully slipped her fingers into the belt loops of his jeans, smiling as his lips teased hers. "Oh, you do have a thing for boots, don't you?" Now truly, how could she ever forget the fun that little fetish has caused?

"You guys were great up there," she complimented with a smile, slipping her arms around his waist, "and you looked pretty foxy yourself." A playful little smile curled up he edges of her lips and she couldn't help but add, "Guess this makes me your groupie, huh?"

"Of course. That's the thing about performing, it gets the blood pumping, the adrenaline rushing, and you don't want to lose that. So, fucking is a good way to bring it down." Which, is why groupies were invented. Or so he believed. "Good, I like 'em easy." His hands moved over the curve of her back, before giving her ass a playful slap. "Though, I think my brothers would be a bit pissed off, if I took off on them this soon. Jealous, you see, none of them can get fine ass like you." Which was total bullshit. All of the brothers had the ability to draw in women all sorts, even though each was just as unkempt as the next.

He gave a little nod, lifting his drink to his lips, his other hand not moving an inch from it's comfortable location on her backside. "The boots, are hot. Bring back fond memories." There would be no forgetting that fun, nor the fun they had shared with her tray of sweets. Damn, washing chocolate off, had never been so fun.

Wes gave her cheek a little peck, "Thanks, doll. Not as foxy as you, no one looks as foxy as you. Which means, I'm going to have to keep you close by, all night. I don't want anyone trying to steal you away... especially my brothers." Speaking of, he thought an introduction was in order. They'd all been rushing around, setting up earlier, so he hadn't had the chance. "Groupies are the best." Placing his arm around his shoulder, he began to steer her over to the group of bearded misfits. "Assholes, this is Cat. Cat, these assholes are my brothers. Alex, the tall stinky one there, Hector, the one who looks he fell out of the ugly tree, and Thom... who looks like a woman." Aww, brotherly teasing, how sweet.

Until they began playing, Rufus was sure he would feel extremely out of place. All of these people, far more wild than anyone he'd ever been around. All ready, he was witnessing things, that he never imagined he would. It would seem, that Wes had a lot of crazy friends. Well, he assumed most of them were Wes' friends, because only a few faces, stuck out as students. Hell, he even saw one of the members of staff there. Would have thought?

Once they began to play, though, he felt at ease. The practices, which he'd been sharing with the Spooks, were obviously coming in handy. There didn't seem to be any strange blending, with him, and them. He feared there would be, but he had picked up on their style quick enough, and found his place among the group. Alex, who was an amazing guitarist, in his opinion, had given him quite a few good pointers. Ones that he would use again, when it was just he, and Wes playing. This sort of music, it required a style of playing, which he wasn't all that used to. But now, it came easy enough.

After a few songs, the group called for a break, which he was thankful for. It was quite muggy, due to the weather, and he was desperate for a brew. With Vivian handling most of the drinks, he couldn't say he trusted her to make him something mixed, that wouldn't completely knock him on his ass. So, one of the kegs, was a better bet. He didn't want to get completely snookered after all, he still would have to play. "No... I'll just take a beer, thanks." He gave the vampire an uneasy smile, while she tended to his drink. Rufus couldn't bring himself to relax around her... she made him nervous... in a bad way.

To be completely honest, Kate was quite nervous to be venturing off to this party. She was excited to see Rufus play, of course, but parties generally weren't her scene. She could only hope that she wouldn't do anything to embarrass herself, that the evening would be more pleasant than she was expecting. Her friend was playing a show, after all, that was bound to be enjoyable? Her choice of dress for the evening really didn't help matters either - she owned a few, but whatever had persuaded her to wear this one, she couldn't say. Perhaps it was that it was so easy to make it look as if she knew what she was doing with this whole 'girl' bit - the dress required minimal work: simple gold hoop earrings, a few gold bangles, black wedge heels and a small white clutch with a red stripe down the front. Her dark hair hung loose around her shoulders, a few strands from the front pinned at the crown of her head.

It was too late to turn back now and so she gathered her bearings and paid the cabbie, stepping out of the car. The shop stood before her, dimly lit and pulsating with the sounds of the live music inside. Pulling open the door, she stepped inside and scanned the gathered crowd for familiar faces. There were a few she knew from the school, but Rufus was truly the only person she'd spoken with.

For the duration of the first set, she stood off to the side and simply listened, watching them all doing what they loved. It wasn't until the group took a little break that she moved to catch Rufus at the bar. "You were brilliant up there," she complimented with a smile as she came to stand beside him.

"Oi, you came. You look great." Which she did, though the dimly lit shop, with all of it's flashing colored lights, made it a bit difficult to see, he couldn't help but admire her. He'd never seen her so dressed up. It was apparent how pleased he was to see her, but the rather large grin, which spread across his face. He placed a hand upon her shoulder, not sure if he should hug her, or not. They saw each other, at least once a week, but hugs, and that sort of thing, were still odd for him. So, he simply gave it a gentle squeeze, before his arm rested at his side once more.

"And thanks. It's amazing to play for a crowd again, though, it took me a while, to get used to the music. Not completely my thing." He said with a shrug.
Respect was given to it, and all music. Just because he didn't want to sit around, and listen to it all the time, didn't mean he couldn't appreciate the creative process behind it all. He had to admit though, there was a definite passion, and fire in that music. It made you want to completely lose control. Not something he ever did by choice, so this was certainly a step forward for him, in trusting himself. "Have you been here long?" He asked, his voice raised of the music.

His attention momentarily returned to the bar, where he asked Vivian to make Kate her normal drink. Making sure that she knew, that was a human. No telling how all of the crazy supernatural stuff might effect her. Once he had the drink in hand, he proceeded to hand it over to Kate. "There you are. Not the typical pub drink, but I think they are fairly good." He said with a shrug. It seemed all of the booze Wes had bought, was a bit richer than what they had yet experienced. This was the night for new things, so, that was likely a good thing.

Compliments from the male species, particularly ones she actually found herself enjoying the company of, weren't things Kate was used to. She was thankful that the bright lights rigged up throughout the shop undoubtedly hid the faint flood of color she felt erupt in her cheeks, "Thanks. Thought it might be time to dress like a proper girl for a change." She was kidding...well, partially. Kate wasn't exactly the most feminine of dressers, but tonight felt like an occasion special enough to demand something more than her usual jeans and t-shirt combo. Besides, it was a bit of a celebration as well, wasn't it? Wasn't everyday that one of your close friends got the chance to do something they loved like playing live with band like The Spooks. She was truly happy for Rufus.

"Of course I came, I couldn't miss your big debut," she assured him with a smile, leaning in a bit to be heard over the sound system as it kicked on. The music was perhaps a bit more her style than his, a fact that probably would have surprised most anyone. Kate's taste in music tended to run a bit harder than people generally thought it might, but she was never against surprising people. Besides, the band was good and Rufus' playing sounded amazing. "I came in a little before the halfway point of the set, I'm glad I didn't miss much. You truly do sound brilliant up there," she, in turn, raised her voice to make sure he could hear her over the pulsing music.

It was a rather nice to thing to, ordering her drink like that. She could tell from the brief exchange between the two that Rufus was probably warning Viv that she was a human, not to slip any of those special 'treats' into hers. "Thanks," she smiled, taking the offered cocktail from Rufus, raising it to her lips for a swallow. "You guys going to play rather late, then?" she glanced up at him, multi-colored lights playing across her features.

A taxi, had been the best set plan for the evening. Considering the short distance, the cost of which, was certainly out weighed by the discomfort, of having to ride in the rain. Though the rain, and air would not irritate her, she knew that it might do so for Jaida. Vivian had long ago decided, that no one would ever have a displeasing time on her motorbike. There for, a taxi. Plus, short dress, heels, fixed hair, and perfectly applied makeup, often did not mix with the circumstances of riding a bike. The girls were simply looking far too good, to allow any of that, to be mused.

It would be an outright lie, to say her excitement, and anticipation for the party, had not been extremely high, that entire week. An outfit, had been chosen, and discarding three times, before she finally settled upon one. Very black, and very short. Henry had always complained that she wore far too much black. Perhaps that was why, the red, and white pattered dressed had been passed over, earlier that week. If it were a reason, it was small, the real reason that the dress had been picked, because of the heels, which she'd been dying to wear. They were absolutely to die for. They, along with the shortness, of her dress showed off the toned extension of her long legs. One of her better features, she thought.

Short hair, had been styled rather messily, the blond tips barely visible, leaving it to hang in darkly lined eyes, which stood out against her fair skin, and pink lips. There was nothing wrong with a slightly dramatic feature, so long as it wasn't over done, and only it, was extravagated. Otherwise, one would simply look like a clown. The ladies were far from the first to arrive, but Vivian had known, that when she volunteered to be bar tender, that her services would be needed, early in the evening. Which was why she had been so eagerly awaiting sunset. She'd never been more happy to see the sun go away.

Barely inside the door, they were meet with the band kicking off it's first song. Playfully, Vivian reached behind her, a slender arm snaking around Jaida's hips, before she pressed her much taller frame, against her own. Giving her ass a rather teasing swivle, to the beat of the song, against the redheads own middle. With a smirk, she pulled away, looking back to her partner in crime. "Drink, love? I could go for a blood, and bourbon."

As much as Jaida enjoyed riding on the back of Viv's bike, tonight was not the night for such a set up. It was a party, after all, and that meant a girl had to look good! Getting the crap blown out of you on the back of a motorcycle was not a way to show up in any sort of impressive form. Besides, a cab offered a rather sizable backseat that a motorcycle lacked, perfect for snuggling up to your party-going sidekick. Not that Jaida was coming up with all the things she loved about climbing into the back of a small car with a hot chick for any period of time or anything. Then again, if she hadn't been thinking dirty thoughts before, Viv's dress would have been reason enough. "Damn woman, you look hot," she complimented with a wicked smile.

Jaida was looking colorful as usual, her bright red hair pulled into a low side ponytail, her dress far shorter than any sane person would think to wear. A large vinyl belt encircled her waist and a pretty fierce pair of teal pumps boosted her a good five or so inches in height - shoes were really a miraculous thing.

Of course, for all the reasons she loved cabs, the ride the two girls shared to the shop was far too short for her liking. All too soon they were climbing out, heading into the bar and undoubtedly ready for a night of their debauchery. Jaida glanced up as Viv slipped her arm around her waist, pressing into her so enticingly. "Tease," she glared up at her through playfully narrowed eyes. "A drink sounds delish....I'd kill for a gin and tonic right about now. You can have my share of the blood, not exactly my thing."

Vivian had to admit, that one of her newest, favorite feelings, were two sets of smooth legs, rubbing against one another. Having a hairy, masculine set in your bed was nice as well, but she certainly had a taste for the softness now. Two short skirts, and cuddling in the back seat of the cab allowed her the chance to indulge in such an activity. The ride had been far too short, but they had the entire night ahead of them, so Vivian couldn't bring herself to be disappointed just yet. "The same could be said of you, love. It's all about the shoes, the dress is simply to compliment them." She had given her leg a playful raise, showing off the black leather heel. The dress, thought short, was simple enough. Nothing too flashy, though Jaida was colorful enough for the both of them, as she normally was. Colorful, hot, and oh so tasty.

Jaida was able to wear things, and the she would never pull off. A style, that simply worked for her, so unique, and perfect for her personality. It was always like unwrapping a beautifully wrapped gift. With an equally beautiful present inside. "You love it." She gave her brows a playful waggle, before stepping behind the bar. "I'll gladly take it. As fucked up, as I plan to get tonight, I've got to keep the thirst in check." It seemed the thirst had only increased with age, though, she felt she had better control over it, than most, it was far from easy. So, the more blood, the better. Vivian mixed Jaida's drink first, before passing it along. "There you are, love." It was obvious how at home she felt behind the bar. Moving with ease, and confidence. It was, for the most part, a smaller version of the bar in Hell.

"What do you think of Thom?" She asked, mixing her own drink, grimacing as she added the blood. A disgusting sight, but damn it would taste fantastic. "The youngest Venizelos brother, he's less hairy than the rest." The blond, who was currently slapping away on his base, barely visible through the crowd. She grinned, bringing the drink to her lips for a taste, then setting it down, so that she could lean upon the top of the bar. Thom was without a doubt, attractive, and he had seemed more than willing to flirt with her the previous Sunday. "I'm worried though. What if he's a shitty lay, like the other demon was?" There was only one way to find out, and he seemed well worth the risk.

Vivian's sex appeal definitely came in a clean, classic package on this occasion. Her dress was simple, but it more than did the trick. Jaida, on the other hand, couldn't have attempted such elegant sensuality if she'd given it her best shot - it just wasn't her style. Now, loud, somewhat clashy clothes that made an onlooker wonder if anyone else could even attempt such a look? That was definitely more J's style. She supposed it sprouted from a long history with Goodwills, Salvation Armies and thrift stores. Not that she was complaining, it kept her from looking like a 'sheeple,' after all.

A drink was always the best way to kickstart the evening and if it came from a skilled bartender like Viv, all the better. J sidled up to the bar, leaning against it to accept her initial cocktail from the lovely tender, raising it eagerly to her lips for a swallow. "Yummy," she grinned, licking her lips clean. Viv and blood was no longer a strange sight for her, it hadn't really been one for long, though Jaida still wasn't exactly interested in a taste test - she'd leave the dracula act to those that needed it.

"Thom's alright," she shrugged lightly, Viv's pick for the evening wasn't exactly the challenge she was feeling up to. "Seems perfect for you, dahlink," she teased with a wink. "Planning on making him your bitch now...or later?" J grinned, taking another sip from her drink, fulling confident that her partner in crime could reel in her choice of manmeat for the night. "Now that one," she nodded towards Alex, "I wouldn't mind a piece of that ass."

There was nothing better than a good sensation. At least that was Blake’s opinion of things here at Halcyon. Had to give some flash, the good old razzle dazzle as a certain musical might say. As luck would have it Blake was a born showman really and she was plenty good at sensations. However what showman ever went somewhere without their best guy? Certainly not Blake, and while Nell might be a stick in the mud at times, it was undeniable that really twins matching was just something Blake could not help but toss into the ring. Plus getting people mixed up between the two of them with the personality differences they had, man Blake could just taste the confusion.

Getting Nell to agree had been one thing, but then getting her to go along with the rest of the plan had been an entirely different matter. Especially since Nell would be the major force in actually making it work. But as soon as Blake offered up the idea that Nell could very possibly make at least one person go home in misery an agreement was reached, though it was going to cost her. Not that Nell ever actually made Blake pay, at least not that she could remember, but the thought was still there. Even if she did though, Blake knew it was worth it. Despite Nell’s sullenness in the cab over, she was excited at the idea of causing a stir and getting her sister out at the same time.

“You know, feels weird wearing a dress!” she said cheerfully as they climbed out and headed for the door. Though a dress was an interesting status for their matching garments. With an entire giant roll of bubble wrap in their room Blake had not been able to help her imagination going absolutely wild. Nell was the crafty one though, and the one with the attention span, so the fact that they looked so damn good was completely up on her sister who seemed very set on finding the bar and settling in there for the night.

Grabbing her still silent sister by the arm, she pulled her in the door and looked around, grinning wildly. Man it brought memories back, ones that might have had a bit of a sour taste what with Destiny, but the memories were powerful enough that Blake felt energized just walking in. “Come on, Nellie, can’t tell me this isn’t exciting! Hell, we don’t even have to do the work on stage this time. Talk about exciting.” She said to what she realized was air after a moment.

Blake blinked for a moment, a bit confused on why her sister slipped off so fast, but hey there was nothing she could do about that. It was not that big of a place, she could easily pick out the bubble wrap twin in the crowd. She might have to stand on a table or something to do so, what with this weird thing of supernaturals being so damn tall, but that was not really a chore. But right now she needed a drink, so she made a beeline for the bar.

Ada was at the bar already, enjoying the music while she sipped a Jack and coke. She was dressed in a black dress that brushed the top of her kneecaps, showing off her long legs (she'd been told she had a nice pair of 'stems'). A pair of tall stiletto pumps finished the outfit, and even with her hair down the back of the dress was low enough to show off a good-sized part of her newest tattoo, the jaguar spots that ran down her spine.

She had been chatting with a woman she knew from the tavern , but she'd gone off to flirt with one of the band members and Ada was sitting alone now, drinking as she buzz from the first few lines of the night continued to send waves of energy and something akin to euphoria through her body. The alcohol dulled it a bit, but she wasn't concerned. At this party, there was plenty to go around.

She saw Blake walking up... well, she thought it was Blake. It might have been her twin since she apparently did have a twin. "Hey there," she said, turning to get a good look at the bubble wrap clad girl. "Nice dress. I have to say I'm jealous that my dress isn't made of bubble wrap. Makes you way cooler than me."

Blake smiled happily when she came upon her new favorite blonde. "Well look who's here. Please tell me you're drunk, that'd be the beginning to a very good night." she teased as she leaned onto the bar next to Ada. Man, Ada was just a long tall look tonight. Not that she was not always, but party attire did seem to bring out the best to show off to people.

Laughing she looked down at herself and then shrugged in good nature "I'm still not sure how I convinced Nell to make them, let alone wear them. She's wandered off somewhere, so maybe you'll get a double take some point in the course of the evening and all." That was unless Nell had managed in that moment to leave the party and was off somewhere being grumpy and anti social. If she was going to be anti social she could do that well enough here.

"Enough about me though, you're certainly looking, well, I'm not drunk enough to go into the poetics of how nice." she said simply before turning and looking around to decide on something. "Poetics require alcohol, all the great literary minds were drunks according to ninth grade english."

The elf had not known what the party was going to be like. All he knew that it was supposed to ‘be better than a Fae gathering’. While, the elf had his doubts, he was certain it would at the very least be an interesting look into how humans like to spend their free time. At least it was something that didn’t involve massive amounts of technology or sitting in front of some plastic box and typing on a keyboard.

He was going to stand out at the party, though. Even without his ears showing him off, the elf had not known what to wear or what would be appropriate to such a gathering, so he didn’t bother to dress any differently than normal. The hand-knitted green cloth and boots would just have to do. He didn’t bring any weapons along this time, which for him was a major plus for going out away from the school.

Once at the party, Ari paused just inside. He reached a hand up to ear and grimaced slightly. Sometimes, especially around loud sounds, it was a drawback to have enhanced hearing. It would take him a few moments, for him it would feel like an eternity, before he managed to adjust. He was definitely going to have a headache after the party, but for the time being he was going to deal with the loud sounds.

He glanced around the room, and took in the sights and the people around. He looked to see who he recognized, and who he didn’t. He glanced over toward the bar, and his lips curled into a faint smirk. He then glanced toward the woman that had entered with him.

“Well, doesn’t look like its really started yet. Supposed to be human drugs and drinks galore. And lots of sex.” He said with an amused expression. “Should we go get a drink, or find one of these nasty human recreational substances and see just what they do first?”

Try as she might, Lyn couldn't get Ari to be a little more adventurous. It seemed being forced into another set of 'human' clothing again so soon just wasn't happening.

She didn't seem as bothered by the music, and really, she was quite intrigued. She stayed near the elf even as they made their way inside. She wondered if any of the people she'd met would be there, either way, it should prove to be interesting.

"We're probably early. But you don't want to come to these things too late. You miss all the fun," Evelyn turned and grinned at the elf. She smirked lightly at the mention of the drugs, drinks, and of course the lots of sex. "I know just why you wanted to come," she teased. "Too long between circles."

Funny, at one point in time, drugs and alcohol were suppose to be bad or the like. But a few mushrooms, a little wine, and running naked through the woods does change perspectives. She smiled with a wickedly amused glint in her eye, "How about something to drink first...but if you get me something like you did before... you're carrying me home."

Getting Ari into jeans and a shirt twice in a week would indeed be a miracle. Those outfits just didn’t breathe right and were usually far too tight for him. The fact he had been once was something that she should be quite happy with.

He glanced back toward Ari for a moment before he smirked a bit. “Far too long. Haven’t been to a good party in months. And I was told this was going to be a good party.” The elf glanced over toward the music and he hrmed a little bit.

A hand was motioned over toward the bar, and the elf began to walk in that direction. “If you get that drunk again, I might just leave you here and leave with someone else.” He said with a snort as he glanced over his shoulder. “I’m sure I could find someone willing here… don’t you think?”

He just beamed her a smile then, and turned to continue along his way toward the bar, before he finally stopped at it and made a motion to get the bartender’s attention. Only this time, he would let Lyn order the drinks. She’d have only herself to blame this time. Though, that grin was teasing and challenging.

Charlie arrived with his date and best friend... well, fashionably late. Hey, he was more than cautious when it came to the sun, and he made damn sure it was down for the count before heading outside. Since they were a group of three tonight, taking the bike was out of the question, so the trio hailed a cab and headed into town.

Since Danny was in tow, Charlie didn't even try to get any action in the cab, but he'd made sure to add those casual, almost unnoticeable little touches from time to time to keep Kalli's attention on him. She'd been nothing short of incredible the other night, and he was definitely planning on taking a trip down memory lane this evening.

When they pulled up to the tattoo parlor, Charlie climbed out first and offered his hand to Kalli, "Come on, gorgeous, before Danny boy tries to molest ya." He looked behind her to his friend, "Keep your hands off my date or I'll clock ya. It'll heal fast, but it's still gonna hurt like a bitch." He chuckled after that and then led the way into the parlor turned club.

"Not bad. Not bad at all." Charlie loved going to raves. They were so raw, they left zero room for bullshit and were designed to serve only the most animalistic desires... feeding and fucking. There was sure to be booze and coke and blood to satisfy one urge, and as he looked around, even if Kalli was a strike out this evening, he was sure he could find another cunt to poke. It was gonna be a good night. "What ya want to drink?" he asked Kalli, his voice now louder so she could hear him over the music.

Kalli didn't mind arriving late, after all, she did do it in style. She didn't even mind those subtle little brushes in the cab either, but if Charlie thought he was getting in her pants..er, up her dress, tonight - he had another thing coming. Of course, she had said that before. And again, Kalli was resolving to go with the flow of things. She'd been thinking too much lately, and tonight was about just the opposite.

Taking his hand she glanced back to the newest edition at the school "Ah, I could take him" she said with a smirk. Feel free to take that anyway you wanted it, he was kinda cute.

Danny, still in the cab, caught Kalli's smirk before getting out "Please?" he said in the most pathetic voice he could muster. "No worries man, she knows where to find me." To this Kalli could only shake her head, she wasn't sure if she could handle having two Charlie's around.

As they walked in, Danny got to Charlie's question before Kalli did, "A vodka and coke, sweetums" he said batting his eyelashes. Kalli jabbed him with her elbow, "Actually, I'm more of a tequila kind of girl. Thank you." she said, casting a look at Danny. But he was already casing out what would hopefully be his new office.

"Dude, my fucking drum kit owns that one" Danny said, pointing in the corner. Half a smile turned on his lips "wish the rest of the band were here." Okay well...not as vampires, but Charlie would know what he meant. Before Danny could continue the conversation, the leggy nature nymph was linking her arms around in his and Charlies "Well, I'm one ahead of you guys" Kalli said waving her empty glass, "Try and keep up okay?"

It would have been impossible for Charlie to not touch Kalli. She looked so damn good tonight, and she was teasing him with the short length of her dress and its lack of straps. Talk about easy access! Kalli got a great deal of enjoyment out of teasing Charlie, he was sure of it. Nymphs were naughty. Seemed to be in their nature.

"Don't be too sure of it, Kalli. He may be sort, but he's strong, and he's got a nasty temper." Perhaps that would dissuade her from any sort of 'taking'. Yeah, it was clear her words were meant to have double meaning. And as Danny started to climb out of the cab practically begging Kalli to put her hands on him, Charlie gave the guy a shove to try and make him stumble, "I told ya... hands off my date."

Charlie rolled his eyes at Danny when they were inside, "I got a special drink in mind for you, Danny boy. Trust me, you'll like it. That and a tequila on the rocks coming up. Try not to miss me too much," he muttered to Kalli as he gave her hand a squeeze and leaned in to lightly brush his lips against her cheek.

Vanishing for a moment, Charlie returned with three glasses as well as a small stash in his pocket. "Here ya go, Kalli, this one is for you. The bloody ones are for us. Drink up, Danny, and then I'll let ya try the other good shit." Charlie quickly pounded back his blood and vodka mix. "Now THAT is a Bloody Mary!" he exclaimed, pounding the glass down on a table near them. He took Kalli's empty glass from her and set it down as well.

Leaning over toward Kalli with a grin, he whispered teasingly, "I got something for ya, babe." Charlie then reached into his pocket and pulled out two little bags. One contained a few beautifully rolled joints, which he offered up to Kalli. The other looked a bit like magenta stained powder. "And this is for you and I, Danny." Charlie opened the little baggie and licked his finger before dabbing it in the powder and running the substance over his gums. "It's some crazy shit, man. Unlike anything else you've ever tried." Blood infused coke was something Charlie had only recently discovered, and he wasn't likely to go back to the regular shit now that he'd had a taste of something better.

She had been excited to come and see Rufus play. It had seemed like a wonderful idea, she had never really heard anyone play a guitar before. Well not up close anyway, and never anyone that she had known. It was the first time that anyone had really invited her anywhere around here. While it was quite the walk, she had decided that it was nice enough to walk up to the place where this was supposed to happen at, only choosing to put on a light jacket in case it got chilly.

What she had not been expecting was what exactly a party was. The noise was completely engulfing, booming and blaring around the tiny space. Everyone was all squished together and she had felt like she was about to be crushed in the sea of bodies. No matter where she was it was nothing but heat and blaring noise, flashing lights everywhere. It was all just too much being around all of this, it was too much for her to take in all at once. There had never been anything like this back home, she did not feel like she could even breathe.

As soon as she got to the door she almost ran outside. The cool night air felt amazing in her lungs and she took a small walk away from the noise of the party before just plopping down on the ground and grabbing a stick to poke at the dirt. She could still see the place where everyone else was. Everyone else seemed to have been having so much fun, but it was just frightening to her. She was only just getting used to buildings to begin with. And she had not even gotten to hear Rufus play.

To be honest, Caylem wasn’t exactly sure attending Wes’ party tonight was a good idea. Since the face down yesterday with Rafe, he’d been in an almost perpetually dark mood. But on the other hand, the party and the gig Wes had invited him to DJ with, might just be what he needed to get out of school, away from all the cock and bull, forget about everything and just indulge himself. It’s been awhile since he even touched a mixer and he had to admit that he missed it terribly. So in the end, his logic had won out, which was why he was stepping through the doors of Gun Smoke Tattoo now, dressed in a black sleeveless collared shirt and dark torn jeans, with a few piercings through his right ear, and an industrial through his left -one thing cool about being an air elemental was that you could dematerialize part of yourself and get a self-made piercing at anytime.

From the pictures on the school’s journal system, he recognized Wes immediately. Hanging out with not just a few hot chicks, and with that mop of dirty blond shoulder-length hair, unruly beard and rugged outfit, Wes looked anything but a teacher. But Caylem was convinced that this was one of the most interesting teachers he’s ever met. Walking up to him, he greeted and extended a hand. “Hey, Wes.”

It was still the early stages of the party. Early for a decent party as it was. Hell most didn't really kick off, until late into the night. But, seeing as everyone had to attend class the following day, it would be starting much earlier, than what he was used to. For everyone, but the vampires. Poor bastards. Seeing that his bartender for the night, was in fact a vamp, a friend had agreed to handle minor drinks, until Vivian's hot ass arrived. Of course, he expected Jaida to be right at her side, as those two normally came in a pair. Not that he was complaining, they were always entertaining, to say the least.

Another anticipated guest, was the kid he'd asked to handle the music, during the bands breaks. Everything was set up, and waiting, it just needed a set of hands, to bring it all to life. Because, he sure as hell wasn't going to be stuck behind that thing all night. Not when his lady was going to be in attendance. All right, so they weren't official, but that didn't mean he was going to leave her to fly solo, and chance someone else snatching her up.

Wes didn't look like a teacher, never had, never would. He looked like a grungy, low life tattoo artist. Funny thing was, he managed to be both, he was just that talented. As his name fell from an unfamiliar voice, he looked up. The kid was a student, that much he knew, he'd seen him around the school. Extending his hand in return, he gave it a firm shake. The kid was part demon, that he could sense. "You Flint?" He asked, it had to be him. He could tell.

The handshake was a familiar feeling, somehow it reminded Caylem of his friends back home and in LA. He shook back firmly and gave a polite smile, "Yeah." His eyes strayed towards the set of DJ equipments at the side of stage, all set up, and felt his hands itching already. "Just need a beer and I'm good to go."

It was always a good thing to be on something when you spin, it gets you high and that's when the really good music comes out, and what better way to do this than downing alcohol? Caylem expected to go all out tonight, even better if it knocked him out, which was something he could finally do without having to worry about the fucking curse.
