Cissy may not have had a plan, but anything she decided on would be considered an adventure to Simon. He'd been raised in one town, had gone to only one school system, and hadn't left his home for his entire life. He did not travel, he did not take risks or do anything remotely daring. Cissy's #1 concern for the weekend should not be what they were doing, but whether or not Simon could handle all the excitement.
Simon agreed that puzza was fine, and then he saw the cab. "What, no limo?" he teased as he opened Cissy's door for her. (Because he was a gentleman and besides, he knew she would be expecting it.) Although he'd been teasing her, just riding in the cab had him impressed. He'd never gone anywhere where some form of transportation had been waiting just for him. He climbed in beside Cissy, slipping his arm around her waist before settling comfortably into the seat. Simon didn't know where Cissy told the driver to go, but then again he didn't know many places on the island yet. But he was certain that, in time, Cissy would have taken him everywhere.
He was going to ask her what happened after dinner, but thought better of it. Everything would come in due time, and maybe what Cissy had planned was supposed to be a surprise. Besides, right now he needed to focus on that little crook in Cissy neck that needed kissing, which he promtply saw to.
