I only read Where the Wild Things Are once when I was a kid (and that was as a part of a competition with my nerdy friends to see who could read it the fastest), and yet I really, really, really hope the movie is awesome. Partially because the trailers are fantastic, and I refuse to believe advertising could deceive me so much, and partially because I love my Spike Jonze.
