All members of this community do not have any interest in owning any of the characters from the Capcom series Phoenix Wright and partake in the drabble challenge for pure enjoyment. No money is to be made from our fanfiction, nor is anyone to take pieces our of work and claim them as their own. /Legal Junk Hello! Welcome to the Gyakuten Saiban / Phoenix Wright drabble challenge at Insane Journal. Drabbles are: typically a piece of fiction which is one hundred words long. Anything up to five hundred words is considered acceptable in most drabble communities. And that's our rule too. Each week there will be a 'judge'- someone who looks at all the fics for the week and determines which fic deserves to win, and thusly make the writer of said fic the next judge. The judges will determine the themes for each week and award points to either the prosecution or defense, depending on which side a competing author states. Prosecution, Defense and Themes. The first two, prosecution and defense, are merely for added fun- each week the judge will award points to each side for any drabble entered for that side. The points system is as follows: - Under 100 words: 15 points - 100 words exactly: 20 points - 101 - 500 words: 10 points Bonus points can be given to a team for the inclusion of a bonus item, again at the judge's discretion. Themes - the themes are short inspirations for the challenge drabbles. In order to be included in the challenge points, the drabble made must fit the theme. They can be anything from Songs to First Date. Past challenges will be tagged and so forth in order to keep things organised and refrain from repeating themes. The most important rules in this place are to have fun and to respect others.
