Still dedicated to shini02 for her Solo prompt, and this time, the dedication extends to anyone following the series as a whole. The comments inspire the writing which inspires getting through some RL situations at the moment, and that's always good, so thanks. ^^
Summary: At the age of four, Duo makes his first kill.

Summary: After his forth divorce running, Quatre decides to confront the root of all his problems—his father.

Warning: references to child prostitution (only references), pedophilia within a church (sorry, it had to be done, but it's only implied), some minor swearing.

Dedication: Still dedicated to shini02, in the spirit of the prompt she gave me, as well as gw500's Duo prompt. ^^

Note: All you need to know to understand this is the baby Solo is carrying around is Duo, and they're fresh into the streets... but that's pretty much all implied anyway. Still, it couldn't hurt to read the first part. *points to link* Also, I apologize that Solo doesn't sound very four-year-old like, but hey, he's from L2. *pretends that's a good excuse and moves on*

Author's Notes: For those of you who are familiar with me *hides from cozzybob and ederyn, this is a WIp I've been working on for years. It dried up on me for close to year, during which I wrote some other stuff, and by the time I found it in myself to go back, my writing style had evolved, which prompted me to do a complete revision of what I had previously written.

I estimate that I am about a chapter or two away from the end of this fic, but they will be long in the coming. I hope that by sharing it on a blog for the first time I might be able to gain the incentive to go ahead and finish the damn thing once and for all.

For anyone who might have read ZF either on GW Diaries or on FF.net, rest assured that the core of the story is unchanged. I dealt only with formulation and sentences that I didn't like. This is the most recent version, and it will eventually be posted to the other places where ZF is archived.

Prompt: Treize/Wufei: The difference between victory and defeat - "Who knows where my dreams will end, I'll follow as they grow."
A/N: I’ve always pictured Treize to have a Russian pedigree that he could trace back to the age of the Tzars, and with that background comes the legend of the Firebird. Its name literally means “ember bird” – aglow with flameless fire. It signifies fortune both good and ill, and is itself a symbol of power and wealth: large, strong, and shining like gold.

As for Wufei, the connection to dragons is canon. A little research on top of that and I think his horoscope sign would be the Metal Dragon: strong-willed, inflexible, unbending, combative and ruthless. Metal Dragon proceeds alone if no one will follow, and he will fight until he wins for he will never bow to failure.


Dark eyes glare up at me, and I realize: I am the one defeated.

Hello,

I have two questions, first I was wondering if there anyone either had a copy of the Death Arc by White Cat, Tayla Firedancer and Shirin? Or knows of a working link? I've looked all over on the net and I can't find a working link.

Second question, I've been reading Sunhawk's Ion Arc for a couple years now and I was wondering if she ever posted a sequel to 'Connections'?
