“So. What you’re telling me is: One, my name is Duo Maxwell; Two, I’m a gundam pilot, and therefore WAY cool; Three, I like my hair this long!”
Quatre glanced across at the other three, huddled nervously by the door.
“Well, there’s something else... very important to you, that you should know. Maybe this’ll bring back some memories...”
“Yeah?” the patient asked skeptically.
“Heero’syourboyfriend...” he rushed, waving vaguely at the others.
The patient’s eyes flickered over them.
“The tall one?”
“No... err...”
“The Chinese one?”
“No, the...”
“The GORGEOUS one!?” He grinned.
That’s when Quatre knew everything would be OK.

“How is he?”

The doctor looked to Quatre. “The prognosis is hopeful.”

“Trowa’s going to be okay, right? He’ll be able to come home soon?”

“The head injury has caused significant memory loss. He hasn’t recognized the photographs of the pilots that we've shown him.”

Quatre swallowed a lump in his throat and whispered, “He doesn’t remember me.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Can I see him?”

“He’s not allowed any visitors.”

Quatre felt numb when the doctor was called away. However, that didn’t stop him from barging into the room.

“…Quatre.” Trowa smiled to him.

Quatre choked back a sob and smiled back.

This week, write some painful loss of memories in 100 words!

Trowa - what does he remember of his former life?  Lady Une - there are gaps there, but how many?  Does anyone have selective amnesia...Treize, maybe? Or Zechs? Or perhaps someone really just wishes for amnesia so that they can leave the painful past behind.
