Gryffindor Common Room
(Just a little something.. hopefully it's not TOO bad. Just figured Ron should get out of the hospital. It's sort of short and not.. flowing. Wrote this is up quickly, had to go in a bit.)
Still dazzled by the idea of - what was it again? Being sent back in time? - what he had just been told, Ron absentmindedly entered the Gryffindor Common Room. He expected it to be quite different, but it wasn't, really. He suddenly wondered if this is how it had been when the founders first created Hogwarts. Had it changed at all, aside from the students? Maybe. But who really knew? He supposed Dumbledore might - how old was he, anyway? - or maybe someone else Dumbledore had been friends with.. if they weren't dead already.
He had a strange worry tugging at his mind - "What if someone changes the future and little Ron never happens?" That could change the whole future.. maybe. Or maybe Ron really didn't do much.. but either way, he wondered who Harry's 'the thing you'll most miss' in the Triwizard Tournament would be. Hermione? Hedwig? Who would be Harry's best friend if not for Ron? Of course, Hermione was one of Harry's friends, but with Hermione as your best friend your 'fun filled nights' would be at the library. Poor Harry.
