Two Seekers

The gold wings fluttered against Harry's fingers when suddenly a smear of blond and green flashed by and the Snitch was gone.

"I did it!"

Harry flew around in a short circle as he caught his breath, the adrenaline from the game thrumming through him, though it was over now--because Draco was hovering nearby, gazing at the gold ball he'd snatched right from the palm of Harry's hand.

"I finally beat you to the Snitch!"

Draco flew close and Harry only had a moment to tighten his grip on his broom before Draco yanked him close for a kiss.

Harry poked his head into the Falcon's changing rooms and he found Draco alone, straddled on a bench, still dressed in his Quidditch uniform and holding the Snitch tightly in his fist.

"Congratulations." Harry slid onto the bench next to Draco, but when he reached for the Snitch, Draco batted his hand away.

"You weren't fast enough."

"True." Harry dropped his hand to Draco's thigh. "You do know what's going to be the cover of the Daily Prophet tomorrow."

"I'd say our kiss guarantees it."

"Guess our secret's out."

"Do you mind?"

"No." Harry grinned. "I don't mind at all."
