| Modly Musing: First Week Thanks and Future Plot! |

Hey guys! Your mods here to give you all a big THANKS!! for bringing in such awesome characters and neat critters. We've been enjoying reading your threads as well as participating in them, and we're really grateful to have such a talented bunch of writers in our game.
Make sure you run the FRIEND BUTTON, since we've had some new characters since opening. Since everyone has been so active, if you've got a second character in mind, feel free! There's no obligation to make more characters, but if you feel so inclined, the option is there. Do take note that we are getting a little lady-heavy, especially if you don't count the NPCs!
Speaking of NPCs, don't forget they exist! If you're stumped for a thread, the mods are happy to play NPCs for you, and the list of them is here. Keep in mind that you are more than welcome to request a mod play/create an NPC for you. If it's on a temporary basis (ie a character that is just passing through town, or maybe a character that's going to get killed!) we can probably accomodate. If you'd like something more established and permanent, don't forget we have a wanted page with a handy form! Since it doesn't post in the comm feed, feel free to notify people in the OOC comm if you post an ad. Prospective players can see the wanted page as well, so you could possibly inspire someone on the fence to join. As for thread locations, Grey Haven is a pretty happenin' place! Check the location page to see the major ones, and characters that have their own businesses or work at one not on the list? There's another handy form available for you to add it to the list.
With all that rambling out of the way, let's talk plot! This weekend, on Saturday at 3pm, BAR will be having an all-ages BBQ. An open thread will be put up and everyone is welcome to join in.
Major plots will definitely be coming, and this is something we'd love feedback on! We've already got the first plot in development, but we'd like Grey Haven to always be about your characters. If you want your characters background to be a part of an overarching plot, please let us know! We're happy to work with you if you're a little stumped, but we'd really like for everyone's character to be the 'star' once in awhile. If you want the plot to be a sneaky surprise, feel free to put your ideas in the mod drop box or just email the mods directly [greyhavenmods@gmail.com]. I know we've already talked with Nancy and Sadie regarding some ideas, but there's no limit to how many ideas you might throw our way! Plots don't have to be huge game-changers, either. They can be small events (like the BBQ!) or something more ominous (like DOOMSDAY CULTISTS!). Go nuts! We want this game to stay fun and interesting for you guys, and give you chances to challenge your characters.

BB here!
This is CJ. He's a celestial. CJ has the least creative human name ever. It's more of a title, really, which probably stands for celestial justice or celestial justicar. He's pretty much a bad ass that throws down the law and carries messages.
For those of you who have characters not new to Grey Haven, people may have seen CJ passing through before. He doesn't introduce himself as supernatural, but he can't really help the fact that he carries himself like a robot and has the presence of the Dali Lama. It's really hard not to tell that there isn't something up with him.
While his previous visits have been brief, his plans this time are a little more long term in order to keep up with some of the town's new residents. He'll eat regularly at the Coffee Bean, the diner and go to BAR every night and nurse a single drink while reading philosophy or something. Basically he was sent here to stalk people.

Also he may have feelings for Jack because who doesn't love that sexy old man?
