Christmas Dinner
The House tables had been cleared away, and only one table remained in the centre of the hall, shrunken to half its normal size. Less intimidating, Albus thought, for their visitors. He shook his head with a small grin. They were not really visitors, were they? They had been here before -- albeit twenty-two years from now.

The house-elves had outdone themselves: two roast turkeys, three geese, stuffing, sausage and bacon rolls, Christmas rice, cranberry sauce, roast potatoes and shallots, stuffed mushrooms, all manner of breads and brandy butter, tripe, tureens of gravy, mince pies, trifle, pumpkin and almond tarts, and crackers littered the table. And to top it all off, a plum pudding stood in between every pair of place settings.

Smiling around at all assembled, Albus raised his glass. "Compliments of the season to you all."

[Open to anyone remaining at the school for the holidays.]
