Hi guys. My name is Kat and I'm wanting to bring in this guy right here. His name is Rand Davis and I'm still working his bio out but he'd 36 years old, or will be in November. He's a rancher that's lived in Rycade all his life and can be a smartass. Hi all! This girl here is Aubrie Walker, played by the lovely Leighton Meester and I'm hoping to bring her in here! Right now, she's a completely blank, (and I mean completely blank) slate! The one thing I have in mind for her right now is that she is either originally from New York City, or moved up there at sometime and is now living here in Rycade. Also, I figure she is around 22-24 years old. Why she moved down here is still up in the air. Complete newbie here, figuring I'd toss this girl out for lines while I flesh her out. This is Lilah Hayes. She just turned 26 (though I could tweak her a bit on the age scale any which way if need be) and works as a music teacher at Trinity Junior High. She's a native (and the daughter of two more of the town's teachers), though she attended college in Austin and very briefly tried her luck to become a singer in Nashville right after high school until she realized country wasn't the type of music she wanted to make. She's still trying to figure out what that is, but she's not sure if she'll ever give a music career another serious shot. As much as she misses performing, she doesn't miss the stress that comes along with trying to make it and she loves her job (mostly because she's kind of a kid herself).
She's slightly awkward, the type of person who talks your ear off and makes corny jokes because she's nervous, overly excited and trying to process way too many thoughts and just has to spit them out because hates awkward pauses, but usually eases up around people she's known for a while or is comfortable with. Once you peel away the slightly spastic exterior, she's surprisingly thoughtful and observant and when something is worth saying, she'll pause and choose her words a little too carefully. Strangely enough, she's as cool as a cucumber on stage and its about the only place she feels comfortable. She's pretty open to new experiences and people, though she sort of has to talk herself into things before she throws herself in. Once she has, there's no going back.
I'm sort of thinking she's the type of person who has a very small but tight circle of friends and that relationships are something she sort of has to work for. I think people could either be charmed or confused/annoyed by her, and possibly label her as a bit scatterbrained until she gets a little more comfortable around them or they get to know her.
I'm looking for anything and everything you can throw at me. All lines are good lines, just comment or pm me and we can definitely talk it out!

Soo terrible 90's catch phrases aside, Dominic Morgan isn't all that bad. Okay, so he's a little bad but what do you expect when his only moral compass up and left him four years ago to fend for himself in the bowels of high school! Yeah Sebastian Morgan, I'm talkin' about you!
A bit of a mischief maker and the guy who'll try anything twice (once for the sake of trying it and again just in case it was done wrong the first time), Dominic knows how to have a good time and is rather keen on making sure everyone else around him does too. He glided through high school as a social butterfly in an effort to distance himself from the up-and-gone image his brother had left behind. I won't bore you with too many details because you can find them all in Dom's journal. ;]
What I do want from you though are 'lines! Dom's got roots in the community and I want to expand on them so hit me with what'cha got! His app' is pending but hopefully by tomorrow I can get this little scallywag out onto the streets of Rycade. It'd be nice to have a few good men (ladies too, I promise he won't bite. . .unless you want him to) by his side when he paints the town red.

What's up, y'all. This is ~slobodian's player, and you're looking at Elliot's potential partner. First name undecided thus far. She's your typical naive rookie who tries too hard and never colors outside the lines, but the real kick in the pants is that she's also Elliot's ex-wife's younger sister. Depending on the background ~bereta and I work out for this little soap opera, she's probably going to be an Austin native who got transfered to Rycade, and she's probably slowly losing her mind, being stuck in such a small town. That's really all I've got for her so far, but until I get up off my lazy ass and flesh her out some more, connection ideas would be fantastic!

Hey everyone. I'm pretty new here, but my friend (Theo!Player) shown me this awesome place and I couldn't resist making a character to join. His name is Eden Samuel Ambrose and you can find his profile on his journal. He may seem like a complete and utter jerk at times, but he's not that bad. Well, at least I think not.
Now on to the ewwy gooey goodness! Eden is the son of an esteemed defense lawyer who's empire is located in Austin, Texas. He's currently a college student and is attending University of Texas at Austin. He, too, plans on being a lawyer, but quite the opposite of his father, who defends crooks and criminals. He chose to move to Rycade because it was the furthest distance from his father and closest to commuting that he could manage. Of course he compromises! So what if his gas bill is intense! While at Rycade, he's going to be looking around for other things to keep himself occupied and to meet those who are interesting. He'll often come off as brutally honest and all, but he's only looking to help others. A sort of attempt to correct the sins of his father, so to speak.
Since I started to leak into his personality, I think I might expound upon it a bit more. He is blunt, like I mentioned earlier, but he is truthful. He will answer most questions honestly, should you play his witty games and ask him the right question. He likes to play games that challenge intellect. He can be split into categories of external and internal. He seems to be more of the quiet type, but get him talking and he can be quite the extrovert. Eden is quite flirtatious and open about his sexuality. At his best, he fights for social justice in the legal and proper manner. However, he has a mouth and likes to fire it off. Just because he wants to be a lawyer, don't let that fool you into thinking that he's not mischievous. He loves to pull pranks on his friends. Like I mentioned earlier, he'll be looking to help people in anyway he can, specifically those who were wronged or harmed by another. He can be sweet and caring... but you have to get there with him first. If not, he remains quite indifferent on the exterior.

HELLO CITIZENS OF RYCADE! Now without the caps, this is Kathryne Taylor, resident porn star and phone sex operator! Interesting job choices aside, she's a hometown girl who was born and raised in Rycade by her single mother after an affair with an unnamed married man. Kat has a horrible relationship with her Mother and was probably known around town as a delinquent teenager until she only slightly matured in her mid-twenties. As a teen she probably ran around with the "bad" kids committing various crimes, like smashing mailboxes and defacing public landmarks. Kat's probably also known for a couple of amateur pornos she did with her best friend when she was strapped for cash (FANS ARE LOVE, OKAY?) and despite leaving the industry, is pretty proud of her work and continues to work in the sex industry as a phone sex operator, a super easy job she loves to death.
As for her personality, Kat's really blunt and sort of crude about everything. She's not ashamed of her life or her choices and is really defensive when people try to make her feel shame. She's all about living your life however you want to, despite what the social norms are. Kat loves to have fun, is open to adventures and currently preparing for the inevitable zombie attack by stocking up on various things that will come in handy!

Hey all, this is ~wolcott's player. I don't usually take up more than one character in a comm -- and it's even more rare that I play two guys in the same game. That's probably a testament to how much I enjoy this place.
ANYWAY. I'm here with a potential new character. His name is Elliot Bereta, pb'ed by Ron Livingston. Yes, the Office Space guy. He'll be in the 35-39 range and essentially be the anti-Troy. He's cantankerous, mean-spirited and given his recent divorce? Pretty anti-chick at the moment. Although to be fair, he's anti-everyone right now. People suck. The world sucks. Everything sucks, dammit.
Details are subject to change, but I'm thinking of saying he was a police officer in New York. When the marriage started getting rocky, his wife became convinced that it was the busy city atmosphere coupled with his dangerous job. As a result they moved to sleepy little Rycade. For the sake of convenience, I might say he was born in Texas. He once again joins the police force, this time as an HLE Officer (Humane Law Enforcement). Long story short, the move didn't do jack to help the relationship. He and his wife split, she took the kids and remarried; leaving him alone in town with a shitty job he isn't particularly passionate about. At present his days are spent fighting feral dogs, scraping up road kill and trying not to get shot by belligerent rednecks who don't want to relinquish ownership of their neglected animals. Needless to say, he doesn't have a lot of reasons to smile in the morning.
He needs his token two connections, which is where I turn to you :D Does anyone need a hilariously cranky relative? Weird friendships, drinking buddies (Oh, does he ever drink), maybe a few meaningless flings he entertained after the divorce. Provided the gals were legal XD I'm up for plotting and brainstorming! Maybe this guy will inspire more PBs of the older persuasion to join. Can the 30+ crowd get some lovin' up in here?

I'm bringing this character in once I have my required two connection minimum. So this is Alexander (never Alex or any other derivative) he's currently 24 (25 in August) and has only lived in Rycade for a few months. He grew up and went to school in Los Angeles, but during his senior year he studied abroad in Europe and basically never came back save for coming home to walk for graduation and, of course, returning this past January. After being back in Los Angeles, he realized he longed for somewhere more low-key and after researching, found Rycade. So he settled into Rycade and found a place for (with the mods' graces) L'Artista, his art gallery/artist supply hybrid store in Austin. He paints, exercises at the gym, reads, does three-day eventing with his horse Cavallo, and is generally fairly quiet until he trusts someone at which point he opens up some. So, I'd love brainstorming/lines/random scene love/whatever.I was one of the people who initially wanted this place and am FINALLY able to apply! :]

He's reserved but he's a nice guy, studied abroad, and I think I may be keeping his teaching position as his occupation, but I'm trying to figure that out. Hiiii, new person here! Easily attracted by ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) pbads, because I've had this girl sitting around forever with no home to speak of. I'm going to have to do some rewrites to her, since she was originally based in D.C. and I want to make her a Rycade resident, but! I can give a basic summary of things that aren't going to change.
This is Enid Kipley, nineteen, who would prefer to be called Ed. I'm probably going to say that she went to St. Xavier's.. basically, she was a regular girl with a regular life up until the point that she got trapped alone somewhere for about twenty-four hours when she was 15/16. Right now, it's in the tunnels bellow D.C. Can anyone help me come up with something sort of similar that could've happened in Rycade? I'm debating between that, and between saying that her family moved into the area after the incident. And I'd love some thoughts/opinions to help me make up my mind on that!
Nowadays, Ed is a little bit of a wimp. She jumps at loud noises, is easily started, is afraid of the dark, and hates to be left alone. She tries to get over it sometimes by exposing herself to her fears, but so far it hasn't worked. Considering she's been here for at least two three, maybe four years, I'm sure she'd know some people in town. So with that in mind.. lines, please?
