[this young man has been squatting in this mid-sized city for a few days now, hoping his twin brother will show up. he has enough supplies for a few more days, but after that he'll need to go looking for more.
everything happened so fast a few weeks ago, but eideard adapted quick enough. he believes he has his training to thank for that. two years with swat in the states and then five years with the tactical firearms unit of central scotland police force, he's used to high-risk work. he's certain that his brother is the same way. so he'll continue to wait for him, for a sign.
so he quietly aims his rifle down at a lone walker ambling through the city street below him. he's found a perch on top of an incredibly tall building, a place where he is safe from threat but can still do some major damage. he sucks in his breath, holding it as his cross-hair finds its resting place in between the walkers sunken-in eyes. with the twitch of a finger and a mere split-second later, the walkers head jerks back before slumping to the ground.
eideard pulls the scope of his silenced sniper rifle away from his eye with triumph, then, standing from his crouched position against the waist-high wall he was using to keep his hands steady.]
Ah, an' anither falls. (Ah, and another falls.)
