Gossip Ghoul OOC

I know it's been a bit quiet around here but I'm back from an awesome three-day weekend and ready to roll! Let me know if anything needs doing or you need a dosage of Carter/Dan/Bart/random! I'm hoping to relaunch advertising and get some fresh blood! Hope everyone's having a good week.

Aaactually we're moving on Saturday. Things took a little longer than expected to pack up, and we're not in a huge time crunch, so we're taking an extra day. Sorry for the continued slowness, but I should be settled in by the end of the weekend!

I just found a site that has Gossip Girl's in Depth Profiles on all the of the S1 versions of the GG characters. Take a look and see what you think! I think they're fun.

Hey guys! This is just an update on what's going on in the magical world of zombie-ified Gossip GIrl! First as you can see below, Mel has taken on Jenny in addition to Serena. So hurrah for more essential characters! The OC application is also up, if any of you were hankering to take on another character that's not canon. We're also making a Wanted Page, and it would be great if you could think of any characters or roles you'd like to see filled.

Emmy has stepped up to plate and is going to help me co-mod. She's already been a magical genie of RP behind the scenes, and I'm so grateful to her for taking even more on. We'll both be updating the game via the new mod journal gossipghoulmod.

Lastly-- the threads! I'd appreciate if you'd break out new individual threads from the group thread, just to keep things easy to follow since it's been going on for awhile now. There will be a new group thread this weekend, but feel free to continue on with your individual threads. I know I want to explore Serena/Dan before we move forward in time.

Anyway, any and all plot is much <3'ed and my contact post for Jenny is here. I think the plan is for a group to go on a quest to find Jenny (who's probably gotten herself stuck in a sewer with psychotic zombies... or something). So I'm looking forward to bringing her in!

Hi everyone! I'm Mel and excited to join the game as Serena. I've been looking for a GG game for awhile and when I saw one with zombies (zombies!) I couldn't pass that up.

I'd love to plot with everyone, as well as hear anything anyone thinks I should know about what Serena has done in relation to their characters in the past. We can keep or scrap whatever you want:D

Hey everyone!

I'm just about to go on vacation/music camp retreat and my internet will be spotty at best. Since I"m not in any actual threads right now it might just be best if I don't start anything this week. Fear not, though! I'll be back next Sunday, and definitely be reading what you write and checking my email, so don't be afraid to hit me up!

Apologies. For some reason my brain decided that The Palace was The Paradise ( I know, wtf? ). First I was set on The Empire and then The Paradise. I don't know. Apologies to anyone I may have confused. I've got it straight now ;)

A very brief set-up for the Palace is now up! I was vague on the details, so we can fill them in as we go along.

I thought it would be good to have an open thread here to suss out the details and maybe even start a bit of future plotting. I'm excited for a chance to bounce off all of your fantastic characters!

Sorry I've been a bit MIA these past few days! I am staying in tonight and catching up on all things internet-related including this lovely game. So feel free to hit me up or, at the very least, expect Carter and Dan responses!

And everyone should start getting ready for the next game day! To the Palace we shall go! I spoke to Agnes' player, and I think we're going to have it be that she was already there at some scandalous party or other.

Some things!

Emmy's made me realize that the zombie virus could use some further detail. I'll update the guide, but for now just know that if a zombie bites you, you will seem to "die" after a period of hours or days of being sick with flu-like symptoms and then will reanimate as a zombie. This is assuming the virus gets into your blood stream, of course. But if the zombie kills you outright or you die of natural causes that's it. Curtains!

There are now rules and a cast list for ease of leaving OOC messages to specific people. Also, don't forget the plot list! So many fun plot bunnies in one place! All of these are on the left side of the comm pages on the link list.

So I gathered from the last OOC post I put up that there might be some interest in having a real-time AIM chat session sometime to talk about Impending Zombie Times?

I am up for this, although my schedule is kind of wonky. I'm free for basically all day today until about 9:00ish EST, if any time in there works for anyone. What do we think?

Quick question -

In all the chaos of the first zombie attack, where are the kids supposed to be running to? I know we said we'd start them off at the school, but since the zombies are already there the new goal seems to to be to get away from that particular place. Chuck wants to escape to the Palace, but I want to be clear on what we're trying to do with everyone before I tag. I can easily say that Chuck's car/driver is out of commission, and that's why they can't escape that way, but otherwise that's where he'll be headed.

What are people's thoughts? Are they all going to scatter, or are we trapping them at the school?

My little smartypants Serena here kind of did a dumb thing. She went ahead and pulled the fire alarm at the party trying to get people to evacuate more quickly not realizing it would draw more zombies. I hope this is cool with all of the rest of you. Otherwise I am happy to edit my tag :)
