Asylum Information

Below is information about the "good__evil" asylum on InsaneJournal. To join this asylum, click here. You may leave the asylum at any time.

• Submissions commence on the 1st of each month and close on the last day of the month.



• The poll will then run for 2 weeks until the 14th of the following month.



• Closing time will be at or around (depending on RL) midnight Greenwich Mean Time on the date specified.

• This community is about characters not pairings... any  pairings are allowed and no inflammatory remarks about other people's 'ships will be tolerated. Infringements of this rule will lead to removal from the community.



• This community will contain material of an adult nature. Please do not join if you are not of legal age.



• NO flaming. Constructive criticism is welcome; just please make sure that what you have to say IS constructive before you post.



• Only members may submit fiction.



• Please place the body of your work beneath an lj cut. Above the cut PLEASE use the following sugested header as it makes sorting the fics MUCH easier.

  Title:
  Character and designation:(or Challenge:) (Please specify here if you are writing the listed character for the month as Good or Evil. Or which Challenge you are responding to.)
  Rating:
  And then of course anything you wish to add such as your summary, Author's note, warnings, pairings etc.
  
  
• Any warnings you wish to provide for your fics are at your discretion except non-consensual sex which must ALWAYS have a warning, however there is no need to warn about character death, violence, bloodplay etc unless you would like to. We are all adults here and given the subject matter can expect a certain amount of violence, sex, etc will take place in the stories.



• The moderators will tag all fics and place them into the memories under the appropriate headings (month/challenge response etc) and the author's name.



• Winners will be voted on by members only at the end of each month. alwaysjbj and selene2 will not take part in the vote in any way.



• Please do not submit 'All Human' fics.
  
  
• Moderators may submit fiction, but it will not be entered into the poll.



• The fiction should centre around the designated character for the month NOT merely have them in it. That does not mean you cannot have other characters in the story, just please make sure that the designated character for the month is the main or at least equal emphasis of the story. Fics for the monthly characters do not need to be new fics (just none that have previously been posted on Good__Evil). You may post as many fics as you like as long as they meet the requirements.



• The moderators may decide that a fiction, although containing the designated character, does not sufficiently centre around them. In which case you will be notified and the fiction will not be entered into the poll at the end of the month.



• WIP's are acceptable... just remember that the further along your story is the easier it is for readers to vote on it.



• Submissions should be a minimum of 500 words and reasonably error-free in order to be entered into the poll.



• We WILL accept collaboration fics, but (in the interest of fairness) in the event of an anonymous challenge only one member of the collaboration will be eligible to vote and that member will have to be pre-nominated with the moderators. The same conditions apply to those using multiple betas and ALL beta's names must be supplied to the moderators prior to the commencement of the poll.
