Who: Michael and Aveline
What: Meeting for coffee
Where: A coffee shop in Diagon Alley
When: Sunday afternoon (backdated)
Rating: SFW... unless Aveline gets really explicit with her request

Michael was feeling a little better about, well... life in general after talking to Roger and getting good and drunk. Still, he didn't tell his family where he was going this afternoon. They were used to him going out to meet girls, but he was sure that at least one of them would be able to tell he was hiding something from them, and he really didn't want them to know about this. Though it could have been worse; she could have been Muggle-born, or a Muggle, which was about the same in his father's eyes. But getting a pureblood girl knocked up wasn't all that much better.

With a sigh, he Apparated straight out of his room to the Leaky Cauldron, then used the secret exit to get into Diagon Alley. There was a light drizzle, so he cast an impervius charm for the walk down to the shop. He looked around at the sparsely-attended shop and saw that he was the first one there. He took a table near the window so she'd be able to find him easily. A waitress came to ask for his order. "Not yet," he told her. "I'm waiting for someone." She nodded and walked off. He rested his elbows on the table, wondering what Aveline could possibly want to talk about. Maybe she'd changed her mind about wanting help, or money. Well, he'd just have to wait and find out.

Slips of paper...

Random slips of paper about the size of receipts begin appearing around Diagon and other wizarding places around Britain. On tables, benches, in flower pots, store displays and even in the cracks in walls, just seemingly randomly place. A single sentence is on the slips.

Who'd have thought it'd be apples this time?
