RP: Mercedes, Quinn WHO: Mercedes, Quinn WHEN: June 11th (last day of school, 4 p.m.) WHERE: Mercedes' House WHY: Mercedes and Quinn return home, tired from their final day.
"Goddamn that Rachel." Mercedes rolled her eyes, back and over again for most of the ride home. Her mom had no idea what she was getting into when she asked how the day went, but it wasn't too surprising. In the Jones family it was the average car-ride, a place where everyone vented their problems of the day, the problems in their lives. Sometimes it burst into arguments, other times it provided a sense of stress relief. Just as they pulled into the driveway it was then that Mercedes ran out of steam.
Mercedes was freakin' tired. She stumbled from the front door over to the family den, droping bags of things as she went, and body-dived onto the couch burying her body in pillows. She held one of them to her face as she groaned into it, trying to remove all the frustration she had towards Rachel in one full swoop. After she had enough she released the pillow, rolling her body around so that she could look up out of the corner of her eye up at Quinn. Her hair was such a wild mess that she started blowing hairs away from her eyes and mouth.
"You alright girl?" Mercedes' face showed every bit of concern that she was feeling. Something in her gut was letting her know that something was up with Quinn. She was careful to remember that just a few days ago something was inside of Quinn that just wasn't there anymore. She couldn't even begin to understand what that would be like, didn't even want to understand it. Mercedes may have needed a break from all the drama, but she wondered how taxing jumping headfirst into Glee Club once again would be. At the very least it did seem to make Quinn happy.
