Sasori and Deidara stood at the airport, waiting for Sakura and Tenten to come back home from China. The girls had had enough and stayed in China for a couple of years, not wanting anything to do with what used to be their boyfriends. So here they were, waiting for the girls and hoping that they could make everything up to them, maybe get them back – they had even prepared some flowers for them.
"Mama, mama, wait up!" Both of them started as they saw a small girl with Sasori's hair color and Sakura's green eyes ran up to a familiar pink-haired woman.
"Sakura..." Sasori breathed, taking a step forward but coming to a sudden stop as the little girl called out: "Papa!" and jumped up in the arms of another familiar figure.
Tenten smiled at the girl in her arms and then leaned forward to give Sakura a kiss. "Let's go. I'm sure that your parents would love to finally meet their granddaughter."
Sakura nodded and with a lovingly smile she picked up their things and together they walked out of the airport, neither of them noticing their former boyfriends or the flowers that fell from their hands.

"Give me that." Youko sounded bored as he reached out his hand, wanting the other to hand over the diamond he was playing with.
Kuronue just grinned, tossing the jewel up in the air before catching it again. "Why? Finder's keeper's, right?"
"'Finding' it among my things doesn't count."
"Then you should watch over your things more closely," the other one said, giving him a teasing grin before slipping the diamond into one of his pockets.
A wicked grin slowly began showing on the kitsune's face. "Finder's keeper's, you said?" Suddenly pushing up Kuronue against the wall, more or less nibbling on his throat, he said in an almost dangerous voice. "Does that mean that I can keep you?"
For a second Kuronue froze in pure surprise and that was all it took for Youko to be able to slip his hand into the other's pocket and take back his diamond, patting him condescendingly on the head. "Tsk, tsk. You're still a hundred years too young to play with me."

Most people would have said that what she did was wrong. But in this cold, dark night, she couldn't care less.
Their breaths were heavy, sounding exhausted, and their skin was drowned in sweat. How many hours had passed – three, four? Maybe even more - she had lost count a long time ago in the midst of everything that had happened.
The atmosphere around them was intoxicating, almost as intoxicating as the taste on her lips or the feeling of skin beneath her fingertips. These feelings that could easily make her forget everything else made it impossible for her to remember what was 'right' and what was 'wrong'.
Maybe an hour or two later she was lying in the bed, snuggling closer to the warmth, arms tightening their hold on her waist and lips placing a small kiss on her temple. Placing the redhead's hand on the black-haired one's hip she wrapped her arms around him.
With a content smile she saw to it that they snuggled together, sharing the warmth on this cold winter night. "Goodnight, Kurama, Kuronue," Sakura whispered as she fell asleep from sheer exhaustion.
