"Yes. No one will suspect this, not from us," Gin whispered back.

"But... Don't you think they will object if they find out what we're doing?" She reached out a hand to him, still a bit unsure if what they were doing was right.

"Schh... Don't worry, everything will be fine... Just touch it."

Not able to stand it anymore, Rangiku immediately complied. Moving closer to Gin she smiled and finally did what she had wanted to do the whole time.

The black cat in Gin's arms purred loudly.

"Take that, you evil fiend!" Rangiku yelled as her character started beating the hell out of Gin's - with Gin wearing a panicked expression, trying to save the life of his poor character.

With a last special attack Gin managed to turn the tables and it now was game over for Rangiku. The silence in the room was oppressive; the silver-haired man felt a chill go down his spine.

Throwing her game control and hitting Gin right in his forehead Rangiku stood up and glared angrily at him.

"I don't know how you did it yet, but I know that you cheated and if it's the last thing I do I will prove to the world how evil you are!" she yelled and stomped out of the room.

Gin stared after her. "...For the sake of my health, maybe I should let her win the next time."

They all said that he'd had a 'little accident', but they didn't know what they were talking about. He had known exactly what he was doing, it was done deliberately – that's why when they called what he did an 'accident' he felt his constant smile turn strained.

When he came home his tense muscles relaxed, he didn't have to hear their whispers or see their condemning looks anymore. Even though he didn't care about what they thought it was irritating.

With a once again normal, relaxed smile he walked into his bedroom. Sitting down on the bed he gently stroke Rangiku's enlarged belly.

"No", he repeated to himself, "this is definitely not an accident."

The shinigami scrutinized the young girl. How on Earth did she manage to be so chipper? Didn't she know about all the downsides of life? Looking closer she changed her mind – this highschooler did have some shadows in her eyes too, she just didn't show them so everyone could see.

Hearing a giggle from the girl Rangiku couldn't help but smile too. What harm could it do? "Alright, I'll let you choose a pink piece of clothing for me."

Six hours of shopping, an aching back and feet that felt like they would break if taking even more steps later,Rangiku bitterly regretted her choice.

Tsunade's bottom lip started to tremble and Orochimaru closed his eyes to escape the face of, in his opinion, doom.

"No. Get your own candy. I got this myself – get your own."

Narrowing her eyes the blonde smiled and suddenly the boy found himself with nothing but emptiness in his arms. He looked up only to see Tsunade run away laughing, with his candy jar in her arms.

"Hey! Give it back! That's mine!" he yelled, running after the laughing girl.

Orochimaru stood beside the bonfire, laughing evilly.

When the copycat nin stood up, an ominous air around him, his teammates held their breaths, expecting him to unleash the power of his Sharingan.

What they hadn't expected though was for him to lunge at Orochimaru, screaming at the top of his lungs:

"Orochimaru! Die, you porn fiend!!"

Sasori backed up against the counter, looking very disturbed. "Yes, I'm sure."

His friend held up a cookie to him. "Come on, it's only a cookie."

"Was that the same kind of argument you had with Deidara? 'It's only sake'?"

Itachi flinched visibly and all but hissed at the shorter man. "That was low."

Sasori smirked at him and shrugged. "Maybe, but what you did to Deidara was also low." He might not care much about what happened to him, but Deidara was the closest thing to a brother he had.

"If you'll excuse me, I have a fiancée, a bridesmaid and my best man waiting for me," he said, walking out the door and leaving a uncharacteristically quiet Itachi behind him – still staring at the cookie in his hand.

For a while it was quiet from upstairs, but about a minute later the blond man felt a shiver go down his spine. When he slowly turned around he saw the silver-haired man stand there with one of his doll in his arms. Looking more closely Deidara gulped; the doll that Sasori held had pink hair, it was his favorite – the Sakura doll.

Glaring at his best friend with burning eyes Sasori hissed: "You have five seconds, starting now!"

Deidara ran as fast as he could, hightailing out of there and to the only safe haven he could think of right now – Sakura's house.

Yes, she thought, he does look somewhat like a lost cat. She placed a kiss on his forehead. But then again, I've always loved felines.

Sakura stood frozen, her jaw dropped, and stared at the little 'stage' where Sasori was. Her fiancé was singing karaoke and she had never heard anything that beautiful before.

He sang one of 'their' songs, "Best I Am" by Flaw, and the words went straight to her heart; especially the way that he sang them, with so much emotion in every little word.

Sasori looked at her and gave her a small smile as he continued to sing – apparently happy with her reaction. After he was finished he stepped down and walked up to Sakura, who still stood all frozen and stared at him.

"I guess you liked it?" he smirked.

His fiancée blinked and seemed to finally wake up from her daze and taking hold of his collar she yanked him down to her level and gave him a passionate kiss.

"No, I loved it. And if you take me how right now I'm going to show you exactly how much," Sakura said with a small fire burning in her green eyes.

Sasori just smirked once again, took her hand and started walking home.
