So. About that Thar DSi...
I just bought one yesterday, and have 2 picked out (if Pokemans [the catch em ones. IDK] count as one. XD) and the japanese teach-y language one.

Um. What are some other good DS games? I am about to try to get at least one soon, and I'd like to know what to avoid and what is a must

That really depends on what kinds of games you like. Some of my favorites lately are:
Etrian Odyssey, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Phoenix Wright, any Mario game, and Harvest Moon ^-^

RPGs are my staple, but I'll play anything if it's interesting. :D

I'll see if the store has any of the ones you named. :D

It depends on what you like. I'd recommend New Super Mario Bros, just because hey, it's Super Mario Bros!

If you like RPGs, pick up Final Fantasy 3 & 4, because they're both really, really good. I haven't played it, but I've heard nothing but good things about The World Ends With You.

Also, I don't know how good your Japanese is, but if you like horror games, Square Enix's "Nanashi no geemu" is really, really good and quite scary (but Japanese only).

I love RPGs~! I cant wait until they come out with five and six (hopefully. They've come out with alot of the older ones). I'll look for it when I in to the store today.

I can't read kanji, but I know a few words. As long as the voices are expressive, I can understand them. Aw. That sucks. D:

Well, "Nanashi no geemu" really doesn't have any voice acting (the only time I can remember voices, actually, was the terrifying as hell times when a ghost calls your name)--it's a first-person horror game. Most of the game is spent sneaking around, trying not to get killed by ghosts, and running like hell when the ones with a grudge against you come after you (the ones without a grudge, if you freeze and don't move, you might be OK). But you have to be able to read to understand the instructions you get and figure out what's going on, so ahh, well. ^^;;

I've got the Japanese teacher, so I'm learning. :}

Gah, so they're not like SH4 Ghosts, I'm guessing? (FFFT. Whenever I hear Ghosts and Game in the same thing, I think of SH4. :[)

ASDF Ok, enough with the groans. >_> :is playing with the site. :[ I am nervous already. XDD) But that is how I get addicted... :3
