Hello There
Hey everyone! My name is Erika. Yeah. Hmm....

Yes...well, I usually play console games, a magical mix of games you can just pick up and go and rpgs. I'm mostly a nintendo kind of girl, but n64 and up. I recently played an snes and I kind of sucked at it. Yeah...but my favorites are Starfox64, any Super Smash Bros game, Dance Dance Revolution, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear series, and any fps or platformers when they aren't all blah blah brunette angsty guy on mysterious planet. I'm also glued to my DS, Animal Crossing to be exact; the game cube version is more vast in my opinion but it's nice to have a handy version.

But yeah, I really love DDR. I've been playing for 3 years now and I think it may be my favorite game of all time! It's sad that I don't see many girls playing it, because most of the guys that do have extremely crazy ego problems!

Oh, and I love Sonic. Any Sonic; 2d, 3d, doesn't matter. Kind of an obsession.

I see a lot of girls here play WoW and other mmorpgs, and I've tried them but I just don't have the attention span...and all the little kids. I think that's the most annoying part. Anyone have any suggestions for not annoying ones? I've heard Travian is fun but pretty slow when you first start.

So, opening questions, other than The World Ends With You and whatever Phoenix Wright qualifies as, any good rpgs for the DS? My fellow girl gamer friend is playing Lost in Blue 2, but I want to know if it's worth it to hunt down the first one...

Holy cow, you sound soooo much like me except for the first person shooter thing. XD I only play metroid when it comes to that. (and I hate KH...) *cough*

Anyways, as for mmorpgs, have you ever tried trickster online? It's my favorite for the cuteness and simple build system. WoW is...too ugly for me. XD *shot* The World Ends With You is a pretty interesting game; though I'm not half-way through yet, lol. Haven't played any Phoenix Wrights....

There aren't that many turn based rpgs anymore are there? T^T seems they are out of style? Anyways, the Fire Emblem port for DS is supposed to be released this August, that should be great. I've played Luminous Arc, which is good if you can tolerate the overflowing amounts of fanservice. I'm currently playing Lunar Knights and Rondo of Swords. I've got the JPN version of Summon Night: Twin Age, too which is pretty fun~ I might buy the English version too.

I would play Lost in Blue because it's the Survival Kids sequel but they changed the gameplay too much, so it kind of turned me off at first...but I'll try it, someday. DX

I'm almost exclusively FPS, there's only a few RPGs that I will play. I'm sad to say that I don't have a DS. But if I can make a PC/Console RPG suggestion that mixes both RPG elements with FPS - give Dark Messiah of Might and Magic a look-see.

Final Fantasy IV is coming out for the DS this month and it was just confirmed that Chrono Trigger's going to be released for it, too. The only RPG I'm playing right now is Pokemon, and right now it feels more like punishment than a game. XD Hotel Dusk is another awesome text based adventure RPG thing.

There were some really good games for the Gameboy SP, too, that are worth picking up used: Golden Sun and Golden Sun II were really solid fantasy RPGs, and if you can find them, definitely grab them.
