Rowling's Harry Potter is envisioned as being of the female sex, regardless of how she perceives her gender. Girl!Harry may have been born a Harriet; she may have had her sex changed through magical means; she may be a tomboy; she may be girlish—she may be anything members wish her to be, as long as the predominant focus of their creative work is on Harry as a girl and any slash content in it is minimal. What to Expect at girl_harryGirl!Harry gen, het, and femslash fiction, poetry, and art of any rating are welcome here. Members are also encouraged to make girl!Harry-related essay, discussion, and rec posts. From time to time, challenges and other activities will be hosted in the community, and members and watchers are encouraged to suggest ideas for such events. The Rules of the girl_harry Community1. Membership will be approved for applicants 18 or older. The maintainer will accept age statements in applicants' diagnoses/user info pages as proof of age, and these age statements must not be removed after membership has been approved. 2. Civil behavior is a requirement here. 3. All submissions to girl_harry must be posted in the community; fake cuts (links to personal journals or other communities at which members have posted) are not permitted. 4. Only fiction, poetry, art, essay, discussion, and rec entries relating specifically to and focusing predominantly on girl!Harry may be posted in the community. 5. All posts in girl_harry should be public and include subject and header information, with their content placed beneath cut tags. Headers should appear above cut tags.
