Description (taken directly from AnimeInfo): Abe no Masahiro is a grandson of the great Onmyoji, Abe no Seimei, but Masahiro is still inexperienced and an apprentice. Accrding to Seimei and Masahiros monster buddy, Mokkun, Masahiros spiritual power is strong enough to be the successor of Seimei.
It's based on a series of shoujo (for girl, generally strong focus on relationships) novels, but the first episode could past for shounen (for boys, generally action based), with some nicely pased action scenes.
The series is pretty enjoyable, the animation, and music is beautiful...
The series reminds me a little of Inuyasha, possibly because of the red robes, and the attacks look a little like Miroku's... *grins* It's definetly a series I'm keeping an eye out for, and the story is highly enjoyable!!!
The more I see the more I want to see.
Now why do you want to watch this series?
Because the main character is adorable with how he's manipulated by his grandfather.
Because Mokkun is snarky love.
Because the CG are amazing.
Because.
Guren.
