THE HIGGS & FAWCETT UNION
By Olivia Bones
On August 21, 1996, the wizarding world united two members of two incredible families; Terence Higgs & Sheryl Fawcett.
The Higgs family best known for their involvement in politics, and the Fawcett family best known for their international Wizarding Construction Company united their only children in a union surely meant to bind some unspoken business deal.
The ceremony was held in the Higgs family summer home in Marseille, France. Every bit of design and grandeur designed by high end event planner, Tracey Davis.
Groom, Terence Higgs, wore a traditional black suit with white and lavender accents.
The bride, Sheryl Fawcett, simply glowed in her dijour, Christie Midgen Classic. A mermaid Sweetheart Court, with train of lace and beaded pearls.
The wedding party did deter a little from tradition. With the bridesmaids, Gemma Farley and Corrine Bradley along with groomswoman, Teresa Spinks, dressed in white bridesmaids dresses with lavender accents. The groomsmen, Marcus Flint and Sullivan Fawley, as well as the bridesman, Christopher Carmichael wore chic white suits with lavender accents.
Over 300 guests were in attendance, and each were privy to an open bar. For dinner everyone was given a choice of chicken, salmon, or beef servings. Each dish immaculately prepared by top wizarding chef, Napoleon Prewett. Prewett also prepared the three five-teird wedding cakes that played as an elaborate backdrop for the evening.
The music was provided by popular members of the Wizarding Elite Orchestra. Vocals were provided by The Hotel's popular lounge singer, Giovanni Goldstein.
The evening certainly was a magical event, that everyone who was in attendance will remember forever.
