Sex always complicated things and made everything so confusing, especially when the person you had sex with was your ex-boyfriend that you were still in love with. Looking back, Capri still didn't know what happened that night a few weeks ago. One minute her and Andon were arguing, which happened a lot since they crossed paths again. The next she was telling him she still loved him. Before she knew what was happening, they were kissing passionately and was in his bed making love to him. If her emotions weren't running on high, maybe she would have never had sex with Andon in the first place. Who knows? All Capri knew was the next morning she woke up with his strong arm around her, both of them cuddled up like they used to be in a spooning position. In her sleep haze, it felt wonderful to have those arms wrapped around her, but then Capri woke up and reality hit her. She had slept with the man who cheated on her, a man she still loved and had admitted to loving. What had she done? In her head this wasn't right, but in her heart it was. It always seemed that her head and heart were always fighting, usually her head won. It was the first time her heart actually won over her head. The next morning was a different story. She woke up realizing that what had happened between them was a mistake. Quickly, she sneaked out of his arms and found her clothes, putting them back on. That was the last time she saw him, Capri could face him again after that.

Sooner or later, Capri would have to deal with Andon. The more time they didn't talk, the more he believed they would get back together and the last thing Capri wanted to do was lead him on. She should be honest with him, she owed him that much. No, she really didn't owe him anything, but it wasn't fair to either of them to go on like this. Her thoughts were confirmed seeing Andon's blog. He was convinced that one night meant a reconciliation, it didn't. It was a weak moment that wouldn't and couldn't happen again. What kind of woman was she to want the man who cheated on her back? No, she needed to set Andon straight and tell them they weren't getting back together. Which was why she responded to what he posted. They did need to talk. After giving her last lesson, Capri rushed home to shower and change. Her hair was straight and she was a jean skirt and white tube top. She was anxious and a little nervous, unsure of what Andon's reaction would be. The knock at the door took her from her thoughts, it could only be one person. Slowly answered the door and sure enough there he was. "Hey. Come in."

They were back!  In Andon's mind, problems were resolved.  They fought and argued, fought and argued; ultimately, there was make-up sex.  It's what couples do.  Right?  They were together again, like it would read in an obituary -- only they were alive.  Andon was likely knocking on death's door when Capri learned of his infidelity.  She could have killed him.  He was fortunate to be driving to her place now.  Andon's mood had performed a complete one-eighty with the events taking place in that last week or two.  The pieces to the puzzle were all falling back into place: The NFLPA and the owners were coming to an agreement over the new CBA, and he had managed to get his other half back.  Those two things were all he needed -- or even wanted.  Now, all Andon had to do was try to convince Capri a move back to Dallas was possible and he would be three-for-three!  Her dance studio would flourish anywhere.

Confusion set into his features as he departed from his SUV, headed to Capri's front door.  She invited him over, but it appeared she wasn't home.  There were lights on, evidenced by lighting coming through the window(s), but there was no sign of the Chrysler 200 convertible her purchased for her. That was weird.  Perhaps it was simply parked elsewhere, somewhere inconspicuous.  It is a black car, after all, and he couldn't make it over until that evening.  He proceeded to knock on the door.  With Capri's permission (acknowledging her welcome from outside), Andon entered her apartment.  Immediately, he referred to the wall to his left; standing there had drawn his attention to the location in the wall he punched out during his last visit.  A sense of relief washed over him, as Capri had the hole in the wall fixed.  He pushed the door to a close and stepped further into the apartment, noticing his girlfriend.  A smile instantly formed; she was breathtaking in the tube top and skirt.

"Hey, baby," said Andon, approaching Capri with his arms spread, ready for a hug and kiss.  "Look at you.  Damn."

There was a reason why the black Chrysler 200 convertible wasn't in the driveway. Capri had given the car to her roommate or soon to be former roommate, who was now moving out and moving somewhere else. Her reasoning behind that decision was gifts wouldn't fix their problem and her roommate needed the car more than she did, Capri already drove a silver Audi. One could consider it Andon's last gift to her before their break up, since Capri had traded in the car before that for the one she drove now. At the time she wanted nothing to do with Andon Russell and would have preferred him to stay out of her life, it was funny how a few months, one slap, and a night of passion could turn that around so fast.

The happy look on his face killed her. In a few moments she would be wiping that look off his face with what she had to tell him. She had messed up, big time. Jazz, the pit-bull he had given her and not as little anymore, ran out to greet the guest that entered the apartment. Guess the dog didn't forget Andon. The dog stalled their conversation for a few moments, but this conversation needed to happen, sooner rather than later. "Jazz go." The sweet puppy obeyed and went back to his little bed in the corner.

Andon was too fast for Capri to step back from his arms. As his face inched closer to her, Capri moved her face to the side, avoiding the kiss that was sure to come. So it had begun.
