Who: Capri Jagger & Andon Russell When: Wednesday evening Where: Baila Dance Studios What: Andon finding Capri. Rating: PG - R, for swearing and sex reference. Status: Finished, continued from AIM
She had brought him to Galveston unknowinngly. It was going on a full 48 hours, and he was still searching for Capri Jagger with no real leads other than by word of mouth that she had relocated to this city. "She's a dancer, and she had plans of opening a studio here in the city," mentioned Andon Russell. Currently, he was inside of a hotel doing some investigative work. The tracking of his ex-girlfriend was heating up now, and he got his answer through a woman named Emily. The only thing was, it was on the opposite side of town. Looking at the clock, Andon figured that they would close soon, though, if they're not already closed. Andon scurried out of the hotel after receiving the directions to the studio from Emily. It was the only piece of information he could work with. It took him approximately twenty minutes to arrive at his destination, where he would park across the street and watch as people filed out of the entrance/exit. This wasn't Capri's place. She never emerged from the studio; and none of the women that came out possessed the body he recognized, if she had changed her hairstyle or color. Capri was unable to change that part of her. Or that gorgeous smile. Andon sat back in the driver's seat of his stationary vehicle, smiling, as the memories of them flooded his thoughts. "I fucked up." He jerked forward in confusion, acknowledging a figure inside the dance studio still. The silhouette was moving gracefully. It was her! He had found her. Andon moved from his luxury car and crossed the street, but out of sight of anyone still remaining inside the studio. For ten minutes, he stood just outside the door, glancing in occasionally. Andon was clueless as to how to approach Capri. He had angled himself just off to the side of the door, acquiring a position where he could observe her dance but not be seen. It was tempting to just walk in. He tried the door handle. Unlocked. His heart's rate elevated. It was showtime. This was unlike being on the field, though, where he had some impact or control over the outcome. The way Capri left when he ruined their relationship showed him this situation was unpredictable. Andon proceeded, though. He pulled open the door and stepped just inside. Allowing the door to close on its own behind him so it begged for her attention, he just stood there. She was in his presence, now, so he would watch her dance until she stopped. But she stopped when the door made noise. It was closing time, so he was forbidden, just like he was forbidden to see her again. He wasn't going to let her go this time. Their eyes locked and he was speechless. Now that he had found her, he couldn't speak. All he could say was, "Capri."
The women slowly starting piling one by one of Baila dance studios, each thanking her for the lessons or telling Capri that they would see her for their next lesson on Thursday. Baila means dance in Spanish, and that is what Capri had love to do - dance. She always got lost in the music and the movements of the dance. There was no other feeling in the world to her than she got when she was dancing. The world could be falling apart around her, but if she was dancing she wouldn't have noticed to save her life. It was always her distraction, her coping mechanism, and her passion - the one constant in her life. When she made sure all the women were out and she was alone, Capri walked over to the large sound system and just let whatever music play. It didn't matter what kind of music it was, all she wanted to do was dance the day away before she went home. She stripped off the off the shoulder t-shirt, leaving her in only her black sports bra and gym shorts. The song was a fast one. She let the song start and warmed up for her dance, the steps forming in her head. 'Five six seven eight' formed in her head as she snapped her fingers to the beat. 'And one...' Her feet began to move first. 'Two.....' then her arms and 'Three' then her torso. The counting kept going in her head as she began to move more and around the dance floor. Soon she would need the count as her body moved freely through the room. Nothing could stop her now, she was in the zone, until she heard the bell from her door. She turned and was face to face with the past. It was Andon, the reason she escaped to this town, She froze, eyes widened in shock. 'How in the hell did he find me?' she thought. She was so careful. Then she remembered her begging him not to come here and her flyer for the studio. "What are you doing here?" She asked coldly.
She moved so well. That was something he was familiar with. Capri was, by far, the best dancer on the Dallas Cowboys' cheerleading squad. Andon always made it a point to look for his then-girlfriend in the end zone or sideline after the offense scored a touchdown -- or even if he sacked the quarterback during a critical play. Capri's movement was incredibly fluid. Naturally, he watched her body as she wore the sports bra and gym shorts. Andon yearned to touch her body. He inched closer, despite being in a trance with the way her body moved. His staring had diverted for a second, as he looked around, possibly for a seat. By the time his attention returned to Capri, she was looking at him. Her flawless face; those eyes. Andon was captivated by her stare. He knew when he was in trouble for making a dumb decision, and he knew when she had the look in her eyes that told him she was ready. Ready to make love. This, obviously, was not that time. Nor was he in trouble. The stare she was giving him was empty. Capri didn't want him there. That was clear. But he wasn't taking "no" for an answer. Andon walked slowly; he moved toward Capri gradually. "Baby," he said. The fingers on his right hand raked through his hair. His expression was pleading, asking for a second chance. "You know why I'm here. I need you, Capri."
When she saw him there she stopped in her tracks. He looked so alone, so broken. Capri almost felt sorry for him. It was clear that her leaving him affected Andon, but then she remembered why she left him in the first place. Served him right though, he was the one who decided to throw three years of happiness down the drain. With each step he took, she took one back. Her cold exterior still showing on the the outside, but inside she was telling her not to be weak and fall for him again. "Don't call me that!" She snapped in a voice above a whisper. He knew what she went through with her father, he swore that he would never do that to her, and yet he did. It hurt her as much as it did when her father cheated on her mother. How dare he say he needed her, he was the one who caused this, not her. "You should have thought about that before you slept with some slut." The hurt expression was all over her features. She needed to get away from him and fast. She needed him to go away and leave her alone. It wasn't going to happen she felt. He had that look on his face that he wasn't going to give up, it was the same look he had before he went into a game. Capri couldn't handle this. The music needed to stop, he needed to get out of here, and she needed to close her studio. So far only one of those were possible at the moment. The music was still blaring and she moved to the system to get it to end. The song ended mid-chorus. Turning back, he was still there. Why was still here? It was obvious she didn't want him anymore.
Seemingly, Capri wanted absolutely nothing to do with him anymore. She was adamant about their break-up. Capri had distanced herself beyond reason. Moving four hours south was devastating news. On the bright side, she remained in-state, and a four-hour drive was nothing to get to the woman he loved. Unfortunately for Capri, the NFL was in the middle of a lockout, so that liberated Andon. It enabled him to take initiative to pursue reconciliation, to repair their relationship and move forward. One night out a few teammates shattered any- and everything he wanted for him and Capri. Being in the frame of mind that she would love him regardless of any character flaws he may have (or had), combined with peer pressure, forced him to make a choice that would ultimately derail what they were set to build. On top of that, she had to relinquish her place on the cheerleading team because the two of them decided to go public with their relationship. "Yeah," he agreed. "You're right, baby." Clearly, he ignored her statement regarding the use of that word to address her. Andon couldn't let her go. She made him extremely happy. He closed the distance between them as she moved to turn the music off. If he could just get his arms around her, she would melt. That was his gameplan. Capri never rejected him when he got his arms around or his hands on her body. "I've done a lot of thinking, Capri. I'm not who you think you I am. And you know that! Why else would I drive four hours from Dallas to find you here? Capri, come on."
She still loved him, that much was true. Feelings like that don't just go away overnight, no matter the circumstances, but there was no way she could ever forgive him for hurting her. It would have been different if he had simply ended the relationship because he didn't want to be with her anymore, but he didn't. Andon cheated on her, the one thing she begged him not to do. This wasn't something she could forgive him for, ever. Her heart was racing and there were a ton of different emotions running through her. The one thing Capri was sure of and that was she would not allow herself to crumble in front of Andon, she would stand her ground and make him leaveher studio without her. Hell she would make him leave Galveston without her. After hearing him call her 'baby' again, she turned around angrily. "I said don't call me that." She was starting to get furious. How dare he just waltz back into her life and expect her to just go running into his arms? Maybe he took one too many blows to the head. He crept closer towards hear and she really didn't have anywhere to escape to. "Don't!" She held her hands in front of her in the hopes he would stop coming towards her. "Just don't." Capri didn't want to hear to any explanations or talk that he's changed, he was only saying that to make her happy. "You should go."
Andon was several feet away from Capri when she angrily voiced her request again. It was inevitable for him to address her by using that term. He was closing in on his ex-girlfriend when she halted him with her hands and demand. Andon listened. If there was one thing he wanted to avoid, it was a dispute that would that would evolve into an argument and lure the police. In actuality, he couldn't afford for that to happen. Besides, he would rather see Capri anything but angry at this point. "I thought you would be happy to see me," he said. Did she succeed? Andon had turned to step in the opposite direction, but he faced her again. He was so close to touching her body, to reliving the exciting moments that occurred on a nightly basis (when he wasn't on the road). But Capri had to have it her way. "So, I should go out of what's part my place, too?" His eyebrows raised, grinning. Andon started nodding. "Yeah. 'Pri, remember who helped you get right here. Don't you shut me out." If she wanted him to leave, he would. In due time. But he now knew where her studio was located. There was no way she would pick up and run again. No way she could. That was part of the reason he smiled. Andon was willing to fight to get her back, and he would show her just how much.
All Capri could do was glare carefully at up him, he was so close to her and was only a few inches talker. Andon was up to something and that something was getting Capri back, she wouldn't let that happen. So many athlete wives and girlfriends let their husbands and boyfriends get away with everything, but not Capri. She believed in loyalty, honesty, fidelity. She believed in right and wrong with no gray area in between, what Andon did was wrong plain and simple. It was never going to happen again, she wasn't going to give in to him. "Happy to see you?" She seethed. "You're kidding right? Why would I want to see you again after what you did to me?" She said harshly. He turned back and Capri believed that she got her point across. Nothing was going to fix what happened between them and she wasn't going give in to him at all. They were done, it was that easy. He turned back around and moved even closer, which threw Capri off guard. What he said made her angry. Part of his place? This wasn't his dream, he didn't pour blood, sweat, and tears into this place, and he certainly didn't work his ass off to get this place. "Your place?" She shook her head in disbelief that he would bring that up. "No this is MY place. This was MY dream remember." Her Argentine temper was starting to flair as she moved closer to get in his face. He just looked so smug and so cocky that it made her angry. "I have good reason to shut you out. So don't you dare. I'm not the one who caused this." She reminded him.
This was going to be even more difficult that he could have imagined. Capri had escaped him and Dallas under the impression he committed adulterous acts with another woman -- through hearsay. From Andon's perspective, she didn't possess concrete proof that he did what was said. He could try and spin it on her, claim he was vilified. "Ba-...'Pri," he started, correcting himself. Andon was aware how angry Capri could get, and she was adamant on him refraining from addressing her with "pet" names. At this point, an angry Capri would be him losing the battle and any chance of a reconciliation. "What I did to you? Exactly what did I do to you? I'm a professional athlete; what that woman said to you was to get you to do exactly what you did. She wanted you to leave me so she could have a shot at me!" There was no denying that Capri was his world. If only he could get her to see that. "Baby, she wanted you out of the way. And you gave her that opportunity now. But I came here after you because I want no one but you." Andon reached out to Capri, having a desire to touch her hips. He wanted to pull her close, pull her into him. "Look, all I'm saying is that I helped you to get this place. I wanted to pay for the whole thing! You wouldn't let me. So, I have nothing to do with your dance studio?" Despite trying to carefully choose his words to avoid upsetting Capri further, he found himself exchanging words with her that would force her in the opposite direction. It was natural for him to compete, regardless of who it was. And Capri probably enjoyed it, because it could facilitate he desire to rid him of her life. "Shut me out? Go ahead. Shut me out and see what happens to your little dance studio then. You did cause this!"
'What did he do to her?' - That was the dumbest question to come out of his mouth since he walked in that door. He betrayed her, he cheated on her with some groupie who probably didn't mean anything to him. Capri had always heard the stories about players and groupies, going back to when she used to dance for the team. They were relentless, they didn't care if the player was married or had a girlfriend, they would look you straight in the eye and then go after your man after. They were in every city and all they care about was sleeping with the player. Capri had heard horror stories about women poking holes in the condoms so they would get pregnant and be taken care of for the rest of their lives. Some of the wives didn't care about their players cheating, as long as they got what they could out it. This was what she was supposed to let Andon get away with? She didn't think so. Capri believed in loyalty and fidelity. She thought Andon would never do any of that to her, but here she was, standing in front of the man who cheated on her. "Do you really want me to answer that?" She seethed, he knew what he did and Capri was never going to forgive him for it. "Don't use that 'I'm a pro athlete' excuse with me," she interrupted hotly, but he still went on and she still listened. Her resolved began to crumble a little as she did. Could it be possible that what he was staying was true? They did really love each other when they were together, he wouldn't throw three years away for some groupie. Her head and heart was starting to fight. Her head was trying to tell he that it wasn't possible, she heard it with her own ears and saw the story with her own eyes while her heart was telling her to believe him. Any feeling she was starting to feel for him again went out the window when he started going on about her studio. "No I wouldn't let you because you would throw it in my face like you're doing now!" She said in a raised voice. "I could have gotten this place on my own." Capri would have done whatever it took make this place happen, with or without Andon's help. It was her dream and she would be damned if she was going to let him take the credit for it. "What do you mean what happens to my studio?" Capri couldn't care less about anything else he said, but when he mentioned the dance studio then she began to worry.
Seemingly, Capri was so focused on retaliating verbally that she was oblivious to Andon inching closer to her. Though he was listening, his attention was stuck on her body. She was wearing a sports bra; it held his eyes captive for a moment. When she delivered her words, it snapped Andon out of his trance. He did miss her body, however. "It's not an excuse," he uttered, trying to reason. "It's what's happening! We are the easiest targets, Capri, because we're at the forefront of entertainment." Capri's defenses had to be deteriorating behind Andon's reasoning. He could only hope. He thought he noticed her expression softening a bit. That was before he said what he had, though. Capri was now back on the defensive, her wall had been rebuilt and was likely now stronger than before. Andon was apologetic, holding his hands up in surrender. "I'm not throwing it in your face. You're right: You could have gotten the place on your own. You did, basically." Maybe if he played her game and went against what he believed for a moment, she would be more receptive to him. "Nothing's gonna happen to your studio, baby. That was just me talking out of the side of my neck. I'm a bit frustrated, that's all, and because we're locked out, I can't take it out on the field. But I'm not taking it out on you!" He wanted to add clarity to his statement immediately before she accused him of distributing his anger toward her. As he was explaining, Andon closed on Capri, his hands settling onto her bare sides above the waistline of her shorts. "'Pri, come on."
All Capri wanted was for him to leave her alone, she could go back to living in the small town by herself, run her studio, and most importantly she could continue to get over him. Those feelings that she had for him just didn't go away over night, not matter how angry she was at him. Still she needed to keep her walls up, he was just saying this because he wanted her back, he could still hurt her. Fool me once -shame on you, fool me twice -shame on me, was the saying. Capri wasn't going to him the chance to fool her twice. "So that gives you the right to hurt the people you claim to love." Her voice was a little softer, less heated. She couldn't fall for this, Capri knew it in her head, but still she was calming down a bit. Maybe somewhere deep down, she wanted to believe him. No he did this and now he was going to suffer the consequences for his actions. She scoffed at him when he mentioned he wasn't throwing it in her face, that is exactly what he was doing by even bringing that topic up. Capri still looked at him skeptically, trying to figure out which angle he was trying to work now. "I told you not to call me that." She said soft, but harshly. She wasn't his baby anymore, she wasn't his girlfriend anymore so he didn't have to right to use any pet names for her. He came closer and she didn't have anywhere to move to, when she tried to back away, the cold wall hit her back. She was trapped. Her mind was running mile a minute, the feelings she had for him were trying to get out of the box she had put them in. She looked down at his hands, then at up at him with her bright green eyes. "Why are you doing this?" she asked in weak voice, shaking her head.
"What are you talking about?" asked Andon. He shook his head in response to words. "You know I never intended to hurt you. And it's not just a claim; I'm in love with you, Capri. Always have been, always will be." Andon was pleasantly surprised to see Capri wasn't rejecting his advances at the moment. He could get lost in those green eyes of hers. He was silent for a moment following her question, simply because he was stuck, staring into her eyes and face in admiration. He was dead wrong for jeopardizing his relationship with Capri by making that mistake with the groupie. Her ulterior motive was to receive money -- as it always was with women like that. But he had been feeding Capri false information this entire time, denying the allegations because he assumed she would never find out the truth. If he came clean now, he would lose her forever. She already wanted nothing to do with him, but he felt like he was making progress with her. "Why am I doing what? I want you back; I need you back." There was emphasis place on "need." If she wasn't going to fight him, he would kiss her. Andon knew if had access to Capri's neck, it would seal the deal. He had her neck in his crosshairs -- along with her sexy lips. His hands gently caressed at her sides, sliding lower toward her bottom. Andon craned his neck and gradually moved toward her neck. For now, she wouldn't allow him to call her "baby." After the kiss, she just might!
He told her he loved her. When they were together and having an argument, all Capri had to do was hear those words from Andon and she would crumble. That was exactly what she was doing right now. Her heart was winning over her head, even though her head had big red blinking warning signs telling her to stop, not to believe him, and that something wasn't right with his story. She didn't have much time to think once she felt his lips on her neck. He was playing dirty, knowing that it was the spot where she turned into a puddle. She couldn't move because she was blocked in and her feet seemed to be planted in the ground. It was if her body was frozen. He looked so good and smelled so good. "Stop..." she begged weakly, partially because she knew something wasn't right and partially because she knew she would give in to him.
Success! Capri surprised Andon here. She was receptive of his advances? Though it would've been unprecedented for her to reject him, Andon simply expected her to do just based off of her words and previous actions toward him. His hands traveled along her sides while his lips closed in on her neck. "Mm-mn," muttered Andon, responding to Capri's request. He said nothing else and proceeded to touch her. Andon's fingers slowly moved -- in a caressing manner -- across Capri's bottom while his lips pushed against her neck simultaneously. Her skin was so soft like he loved it, along with her smell and long hair. She was definitely still his woman -- in his mind. Andon felt he was given an opportunity to rectify his mistake; he was going to seize that opportunity. "Mm. Shit, 'Pri."
Capri didn't know why she was being so responsive to Andon's advances. She should be pushing him away or at least getting him off of her. This was the old Capri, the Capri that was hopelessly in love with Andon and wanted nothing more to believe what he just said. She hated herself for letting him have that hold over her and how she let her body respond to him. Her head was becoming hazy with the different emotions coursing through her. 'NO, NO, NO!' Her mind was screaming at her, but everything else was telling her yes. "Andon..." she half whispered/half moaned. His lips felt too good on her neck. "Stop..." She said a little more forcefully, trying unsuccessfully to push him off of her. That voice in the back of her head was becoming louder and she was starting to listen to it. Her wall needed to come back up.
Andon was using Capri's response through body language as a reason to proceed with the affection. He grinned as his lips commenced a trail a kisses moving up on her neck toward her jawline, where he would then trace the aforementioned jawline and move toward her lips. Meanwhile, Andon's hands climbed up her back after minimal squeezing to her ass. He was targeting Capri's sports bra. It was the way Capri released his name that forced him to disregard her request. She was saying one thing but didn't really want it. At least it was what Andon believed. If Capri was set to have them disengage, she would have to be more compelling. Suddenly, he stopped fiddling with the sports bra, but that was only so his hands could return to her lower body. Andon would reach low to separate Capri's thighs; he would lift her up to wrap her legs about his waist. He needed somewhere to sit her to complete her undressing. "Baby, oh, shit."
It would be so easy to give into Andon. All she had to do was forget about the cheating, which he denied and came up with a brilliant cover for it. That was something she couldn't do, despite his great excuse. She heard the words from the girl herself, she saw the pictures and text messages with her own eyes. He was getting the better of her and he knew it, taking full advantage of any feelings she still had for him and her wish to believe him. Feeling his lips on her felt amazing, Andon was always a great kisser. She kissed him back as eagerly and passionately. Did he kiss the groupie this way? Did he touch her that way? Those thoughts quickly brought her to the senses, what the hell was she doing? Opening her eyes, she quickly tore away from his lips and used all the force she could to push him away. "NO!" She yelled as she pushed him away roughly, the words echoing in the room. "You're lying." Came the angry words that were always in the back of her head. The wall she had built was back and stronger than ever and it wasn't going to crack again. Her hands were getting ready to slap him for pulling that move with her.
