Arrivals -- Welcome to Camp Doxy: ![]() ![]() The employees are Portkeyed to a large forested area resembling a camp, where they arrive at a clearing, which seems to be the main base camp. A few picnic tables are spread out across the clearing, as well as a main cabin. Everybody is ushered to a picnic table, where CLEO WU is passing out assigned shirts for each individual. Each team is assigned a team name as listed below, and team shirts will be the color of your team as well as have a picture of the team 'mascot' on the front*:
After everybody is fitted into their shirts, Cleo explains that Staff Development Week is a staff-wide retreat meant to foster team-building and teach skills that will be valuable not just for team development, but also the Curse-Breaking field. Each day, the teams will be rotated through a series of activities. People have the opportunity to earn points for their “team” should they perform well in the activities. Activities will range from team-wide to individual competitions. At the end of the week, cumulative points will be calculated for each team, and the team with the most points after all the activities is deemed the winner. Teams each have their own cabins, but there is also a main communal cabin for eating and relaxing as well as a smaller cabin that has been reserved strictly as a 'research hub' for those who wish to continue working on their missions. It should also be noted that while managers will serve as acting team leaders, they are walking into this as normal employees with the rest of the group. They had no part in planning the activities (though Dean may have made a few suggestions to the board for consideration) and therefore sport no advantageous knowledge of how anything works. The itinerary of activities is as follows, given to each team for planning purposes but with no further information:
