1.) Do not take it seriously. 2.) Keep a sense of humor. 3.) Don't complain if it didn't go the way you wanted it to. You can always write your own. 4.) Seriously, don't take it seriously. 5.) Don't take Sirius seriously, seriously. 6.) Read all fic with caution. (You never know what will squick you out or won't. But don't bitch at me if something squicked you. How was I to know your mother was beaten up by a caterpillar wielding a watermelon?) 7.) It's just fanfiction, it isn't that big a deal. 8.) Yes, I know my grammar and punctuation sucks. Thank you. Yes, I believe in beta readers. I and they don't catch everything, and some of it is a style issue. Some of it is because... I suck at grammar and punctuation. The stories have been cleaned up to the best of my ability at the time I was writing them. 9.) Go have a beer. 10.) I love slash. But sometimes? People turn out het. Don't shun them. They need love too. So, sometimes while the main couple of the fic will be slashy? Side plots may take us into that bizzaro world of het! Where boys and girls kiss, make out, and have sex! Just hold on, eventually I get through the scene and get back to the slashy bits!
