Age: closer in age to Tony Head than Colin Morgan
What do you love about Merlin: The ~~canon slash~~ chemistry between Merlin and Arthur is what got me hooked. I also love seeing how the legends I grew up with are twisted. And it's all just so shiny!
Favourite ship(s): Merlin/Arthur most, also Gwen/Morgana, but everyone's so pretty -- I wouldn't be opposed to a pile of the 4+Lancelot with Nimueh watching.
Favourite character(s): It's changed -- at first it was Merlin, but it's turned into Arthur (probably due to my Bradley James obsession)
Least favourite character(s): Tauren -- I just didn't find him or his story convincing.
Favourite Episode: So hard to choose! But "The Labyrinth of Gedref" beats "The Moment of Truth" by a hair.
What do you hope for in the 2nd series? I want some development of Gwen. I love the idea of her, but she's quite the MarySue now and desperately needs some growth before they throw her and Arthur together. Also, of course, Arthur needs to learn about the magic ~~and shag Merlin~~.
Other Fandoms: Bradley/Colin RPS!! Alles Was Zählt, Harry Potter, Torchwood, and SGA, but Merlin's stolen my heart
Other Ships: BJ/CM, Harry/Draco, DeRo, McShep
Anything Else: I need more Merlin friends, help!

Age: Erm. A few years older than Angel Coulby.
What do you love about Merlin: I'm so there for the (slashy) chemistry between the characters, especially Arthur and Merlin. The twist on the stories is amusing, too, and simply that the show has a great balance between drama, suspense and comedy. I also think they've done a great job on developing the young characters, probably especially Arthur, but also Merlin and Morgana.
Favourite ship(s): Arthur/Merlin, for sure. But there are lots of potential goodness!
Favourite character(s): I'm not quite sure. Arthur is threatening to eat my brain, but I really do emphasize a lot with Merlin, too.
Least favourite character(s): Not sure here. I'm not too fond of Kanen as he seems to be doing something that doesn't make sense to me.
Favourite Episode: I think it's "The Labyrinth of Gedref", though I got hooked via "The Poisoned Chalice" so that's a very close second.
What do you hope for in the 2nd series? For Merlin and Arthur to tackle the big, magical, (pink) elephant in the room. And more character development for all, especially Gwen who seems to have been left behind a bit.
Other Fandoms: Harry Potter, Torchwood, some Doctor Who, Queer as Folk. But I'm only active in HP, and Merlin is the only one I've been hooked with apart from it to the degree where I want to really engage.
Other Ships:Harry/Draco is my main one. Jack/everyone *G* Brian/Justin. A few other HP ships on a minor scale.
Anything Else:Erm. My favourite colour is blue? I am also an avid fan of singer/song-writer Rufus Wainwright and actors Daniel Radcliffe and Ben Whishaw.
