Since I know him well enough to know he'd keep it low-key and not make a big deal out of it, let's all take a second to congratulate the new Chief of Surgery at Xavier Memorial Hospital, Dr. Jackson Avery!

This is a surgeon so remarkable that he just got here from our world a couple weeks ago, and was already asked to accept the position. We gone from interim chief to interim chief since Richard left in the purges, and now we finally have a true Chief again.

Congrats, Jackson! You deserve this!

I'm still not convinced I'm not imagining all of this. But damn, if I am? I hope it never stops.

My best friend is here. Our daughter is here. A second version of her is here, that's in her 20s. That was an awkward but amazing meeting. And best of all... our son is here. We held him in our arms when he was only a few hours old, and watched him leave us... and now he's here, and... he's an amazing young man and I've never felt more proud of anything in my life.

And then there's the career part of this.

Turns out a lot of people I know are here, and they work at Xavier Memorial Hospital. Went there to talk about working with reconstructive surgery, ended up in talks to be Chief of Surgery, so... that's a thing that happened.

Weird, semi-random question here, but does anyone know how to get an evil-looking former Sith Lord to talk? Like... at all? About anything?

Because he kinda helped big time during the invasion, but after operating on him, nobody has called or visited, and it's a little depressing watching him heal all by himself.

So word is, I can talk to Dr. Sloan about the removal of my now useless tech. The longer I go without using my phones, the more annoying and itchy they become.

Are there any doctors that could help with the upkeep of my cybernetic arm?
