Someone asked me the other day what the best part of working for Full Moon Entertainment is.

I had to think about it, but I have my answer. And it's probably not one you'd expect.

The best part? Is the fact that Chloe and Lucy Van Warren typically bring in coffee and treats from The Sugar Shack at least twice a week. OMG there is literally no better way to start your morning.

You know... when I said I was kinda over Los Angeles and wanted to go away again? I kinda meant back to the UK.

Holy crap this is insane.

Alright, folks... time for what was originally going to be a weekly thing, but is being changed to monthly because I have the attention span of a crack baby.

SLAYER OF THE MONTH!



This month, we're gonna put the focus on someone who's truly shown the growth and change most people only wish they had the strength to accomplish. Kayla Barnes started her journey as a slayer by being full of unmanaged rage, and had a chip on her shoulder the size of Galador.

She caused some damage, had a scrape or two that shouldn't have happened, and broke a few hearts... but over time, she grew to be many things I wouldn't have expected from her when we met: sweet, nurturing, kind, mature, and someone anyone could feel comfortable looking up to. She went from one of the "black sheeps" of the slayers, to being a talent show host that was looked at in a motherly way by most of the contestants. From someone who people were afraid to get close to, to a loyal friend, a loving wife, and most importantly here, one hell of a slayer.

Love you, KayKay. If Gabe could see you now, he'd be proud as fuck.

You know what one of the things about home is that I miss?

The slayers feeling like a sisterhood.

For real: we had weekly meetings, training sessions, gatherings just for the hell of it... we were family.

I know we got a few slayers here, too - so why aren't we closer? C'mon, really. Let's change that.

A short promotional video started off the show, with close-up photos of each of the remaining three singers. Ben's voice could be heard narrating as music played in the background.

"Week after week of close calls with voting. Of highs and lows. Of some of the most inspired performances we've seen yet. After all this, we are down to three candidates for your next Universal Idol."

"This week, Alex Manes-Guerin, Queen Barb, or Olive Penderghast will be sent home, and we will find out who will be competing next week, right here, in the Season 2 Finals."

The show kicked off with highlights of last week's duets, the unprecedented quality of each performance, and clips of the judges being blown away by all six singers.

A clip was shown of Rachel Berry being eliminated, complete with her now-former "arch-nemesis" Rachelle Martin-Bale giving her a standing ovation after her name was called.

Benjamin Bale then walked out to begin the live broadcast, giving the audience a quick rundown of the five performers that remained, before introducing each of the judges. Like Rachelle had said on the network earlier in the day, she indeed was in celebratory mode, her section of the table covered in a Terrible Towel, a Steelers pennant, and a black-and-gold End Zone banner, advertising both of it's locations. And of course, Rachelle herself was wearing black-and-gold spandex leggings with a Chase Claypool jersey and a Steelers cap on her head, giving a cheesy double thumbs-up to the camera as it passed her.

Hey everyone! Been focusing on getting my personal life back on track lately, to be honest, but I'm still here!

Been loving Idol this season, lot of people already that I'd love to work with one a future Bad Reputation album. Considering my lead guitarist's girlfriend is in there, I kinda have to root for her on general principle, but everyone's been great. I feel like something awesome could come of working with Olive, Alex, or Rachel. I love that people are comparing Queen Barb to me. She's got a hell of a voice, so to me, that's a big compliment.
