I feel like I have to explain here, because it's such a sensitive thing. About a month and a half ago, I was asked to do a set of Sam Elliott icons, specifically from
Road House. Well, naturally, that lead me to want to watch
Dirty Dancing, and watching movies tends to lead me to say things like, "Oh, I want to icon this person!" I started some of Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray from
Dirty Dancing after I'd done up the Sam Elliott icons. I put those icons on pause for some in-game icons that friends and I needed (Jackson Rathbone, Eve Myles, Ben Barnes, Alison Lohman, Tahmoh Penikett, Lily Loveless, Jewel Staite, Hrithik Roshan specifically), and had the Jennifer and Patrick icons sitting on my hard drive at work, where I kept forgetting about them.
Then, of course, the lovely Mr Swayze passed away, and I wasn't sure if I should post these icons or not. In the end, I left it up to a poll, and it was unanimous save one vote that swung to MAYBE. I decided to post the Patrick Swayze icons because he was a huge part of my middle school experience. See, my friends and I had a contest to see who could see
Dirty Dancing the most times. I lost in those days, because my family was kind of really poor, but that didn't make the movie and Patrick and Jennifer any less special.

not forget you. You'll always be my Johnny Castle.
