Shacklebolt,

As you may be aware I am in charge of investigating the recent break-out from Azkaban.

We captured one of the Death Eaters who aided Rookwood and the Lestranges and during his interrogation we may have uncovered something of a bombshell.

He claims Sirius Black was never one of You Know Who's men, even laughed in our faces. He insisted that Peter Pettigrew was the traitor among Potter's friends.

I should add that he was filled to the gills with Veritaserum at the time.

I am of course filing an official report of this with our Superiors but I thought you'd want to know as the first as you're in charge of hunting down Black.

This might be grounds for re-opening his case.

	Kawaki, Thank you and I agree. Sounds like the truth about Black is different from what we have so far thought. I would like a copy of the transcript of the interogation as soon as possible. Shacklebolt (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Shacklebolt, I have sent the transcript to Scrimgeour along with my official report. However, you and I both know how slow bureaucracy can be...
