Hey, so who's up for another Time Warp Week?
For those who haven't been around for the previous ones, this is basically a week dedicated to exploring our characters' pasts. It's a chance to go back in time, play around with past connections and misdeeds and such things. I was thinking we could go for the first week in July, unless people have some other preference?
And to start things off, a little meme!

Did you hit the bar so hard last night it hit back? Or is this a terrible prank some silly Trickster just played on everyone? Either way, you're not alone, and maybe not even in your bed, this morning.
-Post as your characters (mention whether they're still asleep, awake and confused/horrified, still cuddling, whatever)
-Other characters will comment waking up next to yours
-BE HIDEOUS
-Comment as much as you like, whatever... not really many rules here.
-It's up to you whether your character actually remembers how they got in this position.

I've been wondering for the last little while which question I should pose for the players here, because I'm naturally a nosy curious person. So here's the question I've been wondering about since I came in a few months ago: how did you become interested in mythology?
You can explain when, why, through which sort of media. I suppose, to be more specific, it's how did you get interested in it enough to want to app and play a character of myth.

I hope no one has posted this before for FG, but if anyone is in the mood for cracky funtimes, have at it! Feel free to start your own subthreads and list your (the player) name and the characters you play and the rest of us will ask A, B, or C. Or some combination of them:

Anyways, moving right along! What with Time Warp Week coming up, I thought I'd dust off an old meme in honour of the occasion.
Because as I've said to a couple of people, sometimes you're not quite sure what one of your characters might be doing during a particular time frame - and this is quite a fun way to figure it out :)
(With an additional time period added in by me, just because.)

The Alternate PB Meme
...you have no idea how tempted I was to go with a Beckham!Zeus macro here.
Our characters' PBs can become such a big part of how we perceive them, especially once we've been playing them for a while - it becomes hard to imagine them with any other face. But as a bit of meme!crack - let's say you're forced to choose a different PB to represent your characters. Who do you choose? Why?
For a bit of extra silliness - for those characters who don't have multiple forms - what would your genderbent character's PB be? |
